I just saw that it's included under "Instructions" on the Appointment Slip, as seen in the attached screenshot.

And, please what does "NIN MUST be validated"? How's that done?

Please I wish to know if a guarantor is still needed for a passport renewal?

From my readings and research, I think I would need NIN, birth certificate/age declaration, and local government certificate. But I am not clear on the guarantor aspect yet.

Is there a specific day of the week passport is being issued at Alausa? A friend just noticed that his passport is issued/ready through their portal. I'll like to know if he can go for collection any day of the week or there is a specific day for collection during the week.

I want to renew my passport how will i get local govt certificate now and i dont want all dose distance relations to know about this passport cos its only then that are close to village .

So is there a way to by pass that local govt certificate and apply for renewal

The upload of certificate of indigineship is a required field during the application, how do I negotiate this part of it is not mandatory ?

Please anyone very familiar with the new system for passport application can assist to answer this query.
I am filling the form for my 4+ yr old daughter passport renewal and I got to the point where I have to upload documents. Some of the documents listed are birth certificate, local govt certificate of indigineship etc.
is the certificate of indigeneship mandatory for minors passport renewal? And where can it be obtained ? as it wasn’t used for her first passport

I was supposed to click lost but I clicked expired as the reason for renewal.

Let me a share a little story with you guys.
I went to immigration centre at ikeja local govt for birth attestation on Monday....I was asked to pay 28,000 for 2 weeks processing and 18,000 for 3 weeks processing.
Guys, please is this the normal price?

please, i am at point of uploading documents and what i have is birth certificate issued by the hospital, is it allowed
