Never underestimate the value of reading with friends even if they don't measure up to you. The sometimes seemingly stupid questions they ask may be the trigger to make you go back and study something you must have missed.
WORD!!! Sumone once told me that helping other people makes you know how shameful it'll look when you fall
You can't imagine how painful it is to do a 50% when that guy you helped gets 70%
Reading wiv friends gives you this unconscious psychological push that helps

@ima1
I think you're missing the point, you need to see ife-eco's post on planning
It's not about screaming 'I'm smarter than Einstein' . . . it's about being REAL with yourself
It's asking yourself, 'Am I an genius?', 'If I don't study at all, what GP can I hit?', 'How much effort do I need to put in to be the best'
In business management it's called a SWOT analysis

And to those screaming Einstein flunked exams, I think you've been reading too much from Stephen Covey
He was already releasing works at 15. Do not be deceived, geniuses exist
When Einstein 'failed' university entrance exams, he had not even finished high school then and he still got excellent Maths and Physics grades

That leads me to one important point, always do what you really enjoy

The good thing about Rugby is that these guys will do anything for the team

@folahann
We need as many expericed players as we can get
Even if it means bringing Pires back from Spain, I don't care
Eboue is just learning to play a new position, we need to give him a lil more time
Afterall it's not as if we have any other option, Theo never starts well, Rosicky's always injured, Vela's still spanish

@A-40
I still think he'll make a good backup RMF when Rosicky comes back
We only need to give him time to adjust, speed is an easy thing, finishing is what he'll need to improve
Brady and the rest need to remind him that the ball moves faster than any player, he seems to have forgotten how to cross
Having a converted defender as our RMF can be the best deal we ever made
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by eldee(m): 4:49pm On Aug 21, 2008
@A-40
He plays for Udinese, consistent for three seasons now
He's only 21, he's already been made their captain, you know those smart moves clubs make to hold on to players

The thing is AW offered 10mil for him, which was easily rejected
Milan, Inter amongst others have been keeping their scouts on him
I just hope AW pressures him enough to come, we'll need sumone to remind Gallas that he's replaceable
The 17mil price tag Udinese placed on him is not helping at all

About Eboue, I'm not sure but I think I saw him play RMF in 2006 ACN
I still think he can improve and buy our hearts in a new position, remember Flamini

By the way who is the Zapata dude? i still expect Arsene to make one more signing i have no clue who it would be though as Arsene seems to love keeping us in suspense

Mofo E actually plays at RB for Cote D Ivoire[/quote]Zapata?? C'mon, if AW values a defender at 12mil, you should know how good he is
21 year old, but with three years of experience as a UEFA Cup team regular

Will Arsene buy another player?? Definitely
Will he buy a first team player ?? Now that's the question
Now that Alex Song has shown promise in the Olympics, I'm sure he'll go for another Nordtveit we'll get this time

@eldee
I am waiting to see Dr Kit and debosky's reaction because for now me thinks Arsene has lost his mind and bumped his head on something its not his age or even the fact that he is a Scummy that irks me its the fact that he is too damn injury-prone
Hehehe . . . Dr Kit's reaction will be a classic
I've seen him dissing Silvestre countless times, to watch Debo having to call him Mikael now will be funny

Hannibal:
Eldee, apply your corporate skills for once. . . . .
Silvestre earns 80K per week(this may include add-ons, bonuses if he wins titles et al)
Now, even if he takes 50k per week. . . . .his contract still stands at 2.5 million per year. . . .
Tell me how Arsenal would sign him for 375K per year resulting in 6k per week. . . . Are u guys smoking woolies??
Do u believe in your heart of hearts that a Man Utd player would earn 6k per week in England?? grin cheesy tongue
He earns 50K basic salary . . . he barely plays when Evra's fit, so no match bonuses
He's 31, injury prone and to slow to be a wing back, that decreases his value
He's not played five consecutive matches for a whole season, that takes a huge slice out of his transfer fee
Next year, Man Utd won't have even been able to get one pound from selling him
To me, the 750K fee is even too high for him . . .
Even if he stayed at Man Utd, do you think he'll get a 50K a week contract come next season??
Come on, this was a good deal for Fergie

Hannibal:
Gaynners are making one huge mistake thinking Silvestre is a shyte player.
Granted, he was a bench player at Man Utd but who wouldn't be in a defence that has Rio, Vidic and Evra??
Pray, would Gallas/Toure condemn Ferdinand or Vidic to the bench if they play for Man Utd?? Hell Nahhhhhhhhhh
The fact that a player is on the bench at Man Utd does not mean he is crap. . . . Team quality is the key.
You actually got a very good player cheaply. . . . .Appreciate what Wenger has done. . . It is anutha stroke of brilliance from LE PROF.
He's not crap because he's being benched in Man Utd . . . he's crap because he's injured even on the bench
Right now, an injury prone player is not what we need, the physios have too much on their hands
Come on, Van Persie, Rosicky, Eduardo, and now Silvestre . . . nah

It's simply hilarious, what else would make Man Utd sell a loyal backup player for 750,000 if not that he's injury prone
Remember it's this same Le Scum that refused to sell Heinze to Liverpool for five mil, now they're throwing Silvestre at once
Let's just hope he really passed the medicals cheesy cheesy

He plays up front in CIV, one more season as a RMF and we'll know if he can really improve
AW won't be spending so much time on one player if he's not seen sumn good in him

Hannibal:
700K pounds for Silvestre?? You gotta be shitting me!!!

Ferguson will not sell any member of his senior team for 700K pounds.
Mikael earns 80K a week at Man Utd with one year left on his contract so how did u arrive at 700K pounds.
Any club buying him will have to cover up his wages because SILVESTRE didn't throw in a TRANSFER REQUEST.
Mikael cannot be less than 6 million pounds so disregard all those media reports.
Actually, he was earning 50K, and he was about to be sold to Sunderland
C'mon, you expected Sunderland to spend 6mil on a player that will be a free agent in 365 days from now??

750K is really high for any injury prone backup player, Ferguson gained more from the deal

Where else can you find a defender who has all of the following

1. Nine years premier league experience with a Top 4 club
2. Can play anywhere acrross the Defence except right back
3. Does not mind warming the bench
4. Actually cost £750,000 acording to all the newspaper reports i have read
I agree with you on all the points you listed, but I still have one problem with Mikael
He's injury prone. He spends more time rolling on the ground than he does playing football
We're still here praying for Van Persie and Rosicky to play three games in a row, now we have Mikael Silvestre

It's so obvious that he's coming as a backup player, but what happens when we need him and he's injured??

I kinda like the fact that he's French

@tkb
The press says he's been sold to cut costs in your wage budget
Apparently, with so many over hundred pounds earners in your team, Silvestre's 50,000 is too much for a backup player
