FYI, if you decide to go the app route, you must be super strong to manage the outcome emotionally, trust me it is impossible for you to find anyone clean, it will expose a whole lot of BS
BTW, the app is not on playstore, the best hacker can never detect it. Sms, listen to her surroundings especially when she is being fu-cked by another guy, the names she calls you etc, whatsapp chats etc.

I am just wondering if it is possible for Joe Ajaero, who openly aligned with Peter Obi, to be politically neutral and act in the national interest. This protest and nationwide strike he has called for looks like a political stunt, especially considering that the current government has agreed to increase the minimum wage and that all major presidential candidates, except Kwankwaso, agreed that they would remove fuel subsidies. Including Peter Obi, who said they would go IMMEDIATELY.
This strike is unnecessary and very ill-timed, more so when Nigeria is facing a crisis in Niger Republic that could spill over into Nigeria and destabilise our economy and political institutions.
I may not support President Tinubu, but the palliatives and measures he announced two days ago were far-reaching and should have caused Labour and Ajaero to pause. But it didn't. What is their agenda? This is about Nigeria, and it is time for us to be patriotic and do what is in the country's best interest, no matter who is President. I am not sure that Ajaero would take this action if his friend, Peter Obi, were President.
What exactly does Joe Ajaero want? Even his own home state of Imo has introduced palliatives.
Should Nigeria continue to spend more on fuel subsidies than she spends on education, health, and housing? How is that economically viable?
And can Mr Ajaero explain why the pump fuel price in neighbouring Benin Republic went up as soon as Nigeria ended fuel subsidies?
Nobody should take us backwards to a Buhari era where we were borrowing to pay for fuel subsidies and tripled our foreign debt with nothing to show for it. Fuel subsidies must go, whether this present NLC likes it or not. How about scaling up security at the borders to prevent smuggling? You don't throw a baby out with the bathwater. We're one of the worst countries with power supply and we're heavily petrol dependent. Not surprising the accompanying inflation that has followed. We practice theoritical economics in Africa a lot. |

franchasofficia: The truth is, APC as a party and Tinubu as a person does not have the capacity to lead Nigeria to prosperity as a nation. They are only recycling the same criminal politicians to reduce opposition and to solidify their hold on government to continue the looting and stealing they started since 1999. If you check the ministerial list, it's more of a list of loyalists Tinubu wants to reward for helping him steal mandate at all cost. The list has nothing to do with building a great nation. Its all about building political bridges to weaken opposition, increase political sycophancy and support base at all cost.
If Tinubu refuses to return petrol subsidy, Nigeria will experience a devastating economic recession that will affect even the super rich.
The effect of this subsidy removal will be felt in 6 months time as it will gradually render private businesses, etc unproductive.
Nigerian government must find way to subsidize petrol back if not the economy will crash. Poor Nigerian citizens cannot be the ones to bear the burden of failures of successive government of Nigeria that failed to fight whatever corruption they said was ruining the petrol subsidy regime.
The way Nigerian media and all the Presidential candidates projected petrol subsidy removal, it made it look like the major problem holding Nigeria back was petrol subsidy and that once it was removed Nigeria will turn to New York, all na wash. Even Obi was wrong and by now if he was the President and did removed the subsidy as promised, we would have pressured him to see reason why petrol subsidy must not be removed in Nigeria because that is the only thing all Nigerians benefit from Nigerian government equally without bias.
Energy plays a keyrole in every nation's progress, that was why God first created light to see clearly first before starting any other creation. Every serious nation that wants national prosperity don't joke with their energy, especially the cost of energy because it is the number one cost that affects every other thing in the economy.
It is government's responsibility to tighten our borders to avoid smuggling subsidized petrol out of Nigeria.
It is government's responsibility to ensure transparent procurement and payment of subsidy on exact petrol consumed in Nigeria.
It is government's responsibility to fix our dead refineries and stop importation of petrol.
It is government's responsibility to stop oil theft and bunkering to increase our national crude output.
Instead of facing their responsibilities as government, they push the burden to already dejected citizens that benefit nothing from government.
Increasing the minimum wage will not solve the awaiting recession that will come with this brutal petrol subsidy removal.
Paying households 50,000 naira every month won't solve it because more than 60% of the fund will be looted and only party members and few highly placed families in their communities will benefit.
Nigerian government must revert back the petrol subsidy and face their failures in tackling the issues that made the petrol subsidy programme to fail by tightening our borders and criminalizing smuggling of petrol products, revamping the process of subsidy payment to ensure we pay for exact petrol imported into Nigeria. Urgent revamping of our national refineries to start working soonest. Beefing up security on our waterways to end crude theft.
This is the only way out if not, Tinubu or any other President that insist on removing subsidy is wasting time cos Nigeria's economy crash without petrol subsidy.
Buhari partially removed subsidy on petrol in 2018 when he increased pump price from 97 naira per liter to 145 naira per liter and later to 196 naira per liter and they said the price will crash with time. Till date the price hasn't crashed and we can't account for the trillions he saved or made from partially removing subsidy then, the same thing will happen under Tinubu You're very wise sir. Leaders practice theoritical economics in Nigeria. How removing subsidy in a poor country like this with terrible electricity makes sense is quite ridiculous. |

WeirdAlien: Normally, when you turn the ignition key all the way off, your steering will lock up at a small angle and you can't turn it, right? In this kinda emergency you need your steering to be fully usable to maneuver. So make sure you don't turn the key back to the last. Okay . Thanks. |
Car Talk › Re: Break Failure Experience ( Pix ) by Elxandre(m): 2:37am On Jul 26, 2023 |
WeirdAlien: On a level ground every gear has an ideal engine rev speed, usually close to your idle engine rev. If you gas down on that gear and release the throttle, the engine will force itself back to that rotational idle speed. So if you're moving, each time you release the gas without matching the brakes, your car will slow down due to engine resistance. It's called engine braking. But if you put it in neutral, the car will keep rolling until gravity prevails on it. When you switch off your engine normally, it forces itself to stop rotating, so if any of the gears are engaged, the engine will eventually force the car to stop, even if it was going down a slope. The lower the engaged gear, the quicker the car will stop. There's some physics behind it. Manual drivers will relate more.
So if everything else fails and you can't stop the car, switch off the engine. Power steering will become very heavy but your adrenaline rush will give you strength. Beware not to lock your steering wheel with the ignition key. What do you mean to not lock the steering wheel though. Nice write up btw. |
Car Talk › Re: Break Failure Experience ( Pix ) by Elxandre(m): 8:46pm On Jul 25, 2023 |
WeirdAlien: Neutral will only put you on free rolling. Engine braking is your best option when all fails. Switch off your engine at the current gear. Make sure not to lock your steering wheel so you can swerve. Your car will slow down much quicker than if you use neutral.
Handbrake was his best option in that case, don't just engage it too sharply. Neutral disengages the engine which drops the speed unless you are rolling down a slope. But I'm not expert anyway, just what I learnt on YouTube and the likes. 😁 |

I briefly stopped to check my tyre pressure on a trip from Ondo state via Ife to Ibadan , after moving few meters from the vulcanize accelerating gradually above 60km/h to continue my regular 140km/h speed, I pressed the brakes for no reason and it went flat . Luckily no car in my front but how do I stop an automatic car at that speed?; I tried to put the car in park but it did not enter , I tried to put it in D2 but still no luck. My wife was already shouting Jesus and all manner of things while bracing for impact. Last last a thought occured to me to pull the hand brake. The car stopped . grandstar: I don't know why but I am beginning to sense the Naira's true value may hover between 830-1,100. I know it is frightening but it might be the truth. This might be the new normal.
The economy turned out to be far worse than expected. Unmet demand for forex was a reported $12bn. Of course, not all were genuine but to buy at the official rate and to roundtrip for sale at the BDC or parallel market rate.
I sense even if the CBN chooses to defend the Naira, and fight inflation, it would firm up in value (probably hit 650-680 range) but would eventually have to fall when central bank realises that the currency may be to strong at that rate.
A country like Nigeria needs to make its currency weaker than it should be in order to encourage exports, moderate imports, build the foreign reserves and to keep the current account surplus in a healthy state.
The government needs to go overboard in seeking foreign investment. The fuel subsidy removal will drag growth down but huge foreign direct investment into the country should perk things up. Portfolio investment would also be very welcome. This can to some extent counter any drag But is Nigeria actually that attractive to foreign investors with power and security challenges? |

Mbappe was by far the best player at the WC but the agenda pushed it to Messi... Messi lost the final in 2014 but was given the golden ball despite not scoring a single goal in the knock out... mbappe scored 8 goals and was top scorer and played lesser minutes than Messi and scored on 2 penalties and that was in the final and had 4 assists( even tho I don't care bout assists ) scored a hat trick in the final ... but they still gave the penalty merchant golden ball...if u can't see the agenda , then u are a blind fan ... they also gave him best goal at the UCL when it's obvious that players like vinicius , mbappe , okafor, dzeko scored way better goals ... what Ronaldo has done for Portugal, no player in their history have ever done it... what Messi has done for Argentina, players have done it b4 ... B4 Ronaldos first WC , Portugal had only qualified 3 times on their history... Argentina had played over 13 World cups , won 2 times and played in 3 finals b4 Messi... portugal have never played in a final ... if Ronaldo was Argentine and Messi was Portuguese, he would not have won it while Ronaldo would have won at least 2... the champions league that's a level playing field has settled this matter ... Messi won WC , but played trash in UCL with PSG ... that says it all You've said it all my brother. |

How come he could not win the WC then? He was just required to stand there, take penalties and score goals.
Was this the best squad of Argentina that Messi carried to win WC as its playmaker and goalscorer? Best team is not by names alone, otherwise Leicester wouldn't have won the league, and Messi would have won the world cup in 2010 when he was a much more powerful force of nature. He even had more elite team mates then. But anything to promote agenda sha 😎 |

A team that always got bailed by penalties nearly every game? They opened the scoring with penalties almost every game which changes the game plan obviously. BTW, Deco is not correct. They have always had Messi even in his prime years and they didn't do much. Argentina team was really solid defensively. It was impossible to even get much chances against them, and when they go ahead with a penalty, it's nearly game over. Portugal on the other hand had nearly 38 year old Ronaldo. They had their best squad at the wrong end of Ronaldo's career. He was simply too old to do much. Bring him this squad 4 years ago, and they would go far, not to mention Santos is a poor coach. Where was Deco at 38 if na so e easy? Which outfield player was still balling at the highest level at 38? Messi did well btw. |
