she's not the first to do something stupid neither was Davido. the main problem for Babcock here is the huge audience her action is generating which to them is a negative publicity and the first thing corporate institution do with negative publicity is to protect the brand at all cost.

Several times when Davido was acting clearly against the school rules, he was pointed out as being a Babcock student. Not once did Babcock sanction him. Even Chioma who would have been acting against their so called rules by cohabiting with boyfriend. Not once was she sanctioned. This girl had no hand in naming that sex tape. She only partook in it and maybe naively trusted the wrong person! That was all she did. But she’s being expelled for it! She’s the victim here, not Babcock!

it doesn't matter, ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the law. I think what's most people fails to understand is than Babcock is protecting Babcock probably because one of their selling point is that they are a religiously and high morals institution and not accepting sinners institution.
if they have come out to say the act didn't happen on school premises so it's not our business. maybe you and others seeing their current course of action has wrong may send your children to the school but their target audience might be withdrawing their wards or the may be losing more potential clients because of such action.
I believe they weighed both actions (not doing anything or expelling the culprits of such negative news) and they chose what's best for them

before I get attacked, let me first say this. I don't follow freeze teachings or listen to him. but from the comments here most of us are hung up on the passage "...steal, kill and destroy" .
let's analyze it critically:
1. Steal: what is the devil stealing you from??
we can wholeheartedly conclude eternal life (God). so the devil's gain is for us not to enjoy eternal life.
2 Kill: why is the devil killing you? what is he killing you from?? life on earth where we are just passerby?? what does he gain by killing you? when you die, your soul is judged so if you're a true worshipper what does he gain?? nothing. I think the kill here was killing our chances of eternal life.
3. Destroy: what is the devil destroying?
our relationship with God. which in turn hamper our chance at eternal life.

I'll try as much as possible to carry everybody concern along. First and foremost there are no "indigenous" Igbo community in Akwa Ibom. if you don't know the meaning of indigenous consult a dictionary. Akwa Ibom has other "foreign" tribes dwelling with us but they are not from Akwa Ibom.
secondly, one of those pained Igbo was talking about a quote from one Obong. no annang bears the name Obong we use Abasi or Okuku to represent our chief. Obong is to Ibibio. so an ibibio cannot claim to know what happens in Annang land. that's like someone from Enugu claiming to know what happened in Umudike in Umuahia.
Third observation... the land you're claiming was in Igboland before state creation is until now in some cases inhabitable i.e people don't live there as it's mostly forest and rivers. how do they now speak Igbo in Akwa Ibom. please if you want to verify... move to Ukwa East and Nwa... then from these communities sojourn to Akwa Ibom state boundaries you won't see any houses there.
Last but not the least... I made this point before... the boundary communities in Akwa Ibom and Abia understand each other's language through business dealings and marriages. but Igbo is not their main language in the case of Akwa Ibom community same for the Igbo community, Annang is not their main language

In cross river, there are communities that the ibibio population is more greater than the efik population... But no akwa ibonite will ever dare say that we are indigenous, we k ow that we migrated there for farming, and no matter the fact that we physically are more around than our host, we never claim there... We know the land is not ours, they too know it.. We have outlr language, but I e speak the efik there... Does dat make ibibio the indigenous language of boki or okurikang ?

Thats the same situation here.

ayen eka, cross river and Akwa Ibom issue is very different from Akwa Ibom and Abia... Akwa Ibom was carved out of Cross River so they might be some leftovers between the two states like they might be indigenous Ibibio speakers in Cross River and vice versa... but Igbo and Akwa Ibom is a no no...
