Miss Ope: Are these laws not God's laws anymore? Or isn't christ God anymore? ...woo am confused jor...confusion everywhere sef sometime I feel like being an Atheist.... Jesus told us that he has not come to abolish the law.

Tithe is relevant,if the new testament did not mention categorically that tithe is abolished,that means d apostles were faithful in tithing and never thought of not paying it.

The tithe is used by the church to spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

WISE THINKING IS:

If I pay my tithe to the pastor, can it hinder me from making heaven? If it is no,then it is better to pay it.

If I do not pay my tithe, can it hinder me from making heaven, if it is not abolished by God.?If it can hinder on the ground of robbery,& disobedience,then it is wise to pay the tithe.

If it is not required,and i did not pay. Would I have the same reward in heaven with those that paid their tithes foolishly to the pastors? Definitely not. At least part of the tithe will be used for God by the pastor.Like generating electrical power during service,printing of tracts,paying for the rental bill of the church premises or erecting the chuch building. Such a giver of d tithe will share in the reward.

If you read Matt 23:23 Jesus said" Woe to you,Scribes,Pharasees,hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin,& have neglected d WEIGHTIER matters of the law :justice and mercy and faithfulness.These you OUGHT TO HAVE DONE,WITHOUT NEGLECTING THE OTHERS.
This means it is compulsory but should be in conjuction with the other more important part of the law,like Justice etc.

Matt 5:20 "For I tell u ,unless ur righteousness exceeds that of d scribes and Pharasees,you will NEVER ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD. The Pharasees used to pay their tithes ,u too must pay your tithes,they negnected Justice ,mercy etc but you must add these to ur tithe, b4 you can make heaven.

Jesus said in Matt5:17 That he did not come to abolish the law.......19 "Ther4 whoever relaxes one of these commandments & teaches others to do d same will be called least in d kingdom of heaven,but he whoever DOES THEM & teaches them will be called great in d kingdom of heaven.

Non payment of tithe or payment to the widows or less previledged is relaxing the law.
An able bodied person will star to go to church toward end of the month,knowing that people will dstribute their tithes to him,as long as he puts on a torn cloth.

Another point is, if a widow collects tithe from a church member,who would she pay her tithe to?To the church or to a less priviledged widow? That second reciever would look for somebody else to give his tithe to ; and it will go on and on until it will no longer be divisible.This is confusion,unless the less priviledged will not pay tithe . If they do not pay tithe, then the giver of the tithe is also not bound to give his tithe.
Then the church of God will not have funds to finance its projects. The land on which ur church was erected was purchsed ,d building,the chairs,microphones,generators, goes into millions of naira.Monthly rental of space for some chuches is up to #300,000.00 per month
If you do not drop ur tithe, are u ready to follow what the early chuch practised in Acts 4:34"There was not a needy person among them ,for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them & brought proceeds of what was sold".

They paid more than tithes,there is no law against this.

My advice to yoy and others is "LET US FULFILL ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS.

To be carnally minded is death,but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Pay your tithe to ur pastor ,what he does with the tithe is no longer our business,he will give account of it on the day of judgement.

Many people badmouth Churches they know little or nothing about.

You can have a true church of God but a bad branch pastor or occultic pastor doing something diff from the doctrine God geve the General Overseer to follow.

It is carnality to say "peace be upon any prophet that is dead."
The prayers of d living cannot affect the dead when God has already judged the person. If the prophet is in hell fire,no amount of prayer here on earth can change the decision of God. If he is in heaven,it will not add to his peace in heaven,because there is nothing else in heaven but peace and joy.You can only pray for peace for yourself on this earth and be sure of where u are going,if not ,billions of sacrifices and mouthy of "peace" for the person can not take him away from hell fire.This a spiritual knowledge.

Christianity is a spiritual truth.I dont have to dress like the Jew or like Jesus or his apostles b4 I will be seen as a christian or make heaven.I don have to speak their language b4 God will answer my prayers.I dont have to face the Temple in Jerusalem b4 God ,in heaven,can answer my prayers.

The devil had been using the slave of Sarah from d biginning but God told Abraham to send her away ,and that His plan of Salvation is through Isaac, from where came Jesus Christ.All d prophets in the quran,which muhammed copied from the bible,were all Israelites except Muhammed,who claimed that God called him,but could not show any sign;even by raising a dead chicken back to life.He got killed c/o poison.

As I said,I am a witness to d power of God through his son Jesus Christ.Not with d assistance of any pastor but direct encounter with his power and in his name.With holiness in the name of Jesus every knee does bow,even that of Satan and his demons.

You can try him.Just believe that he died for your sins and pray that God Almighty the father of the Lord Jesus should show you His signs.

God will reveal himself to you and direct your life away from hell fire in the name of Jesus,whether u like it or not.

I must say when I first started attending MFM last year, I was just going for want of a place to worship and the branch was near my house

After one heavy session of prayers, with head shaking, and body shaking and prayers of "anyone tampering with my destiny, be exposed and be disgraced", bam!! I remembered something my MOTHER did to me over 20 years ago. At first, I refused to believe it thinking it could not be so but when I asked her about it, she was shocked to the core as I was not supposed to remember it FOREVER. She asked for forgiveness. If she had denied it, I would have let it go believing that I was wrong Sometimes I wish she had denied it

Some people don't know that things are happening in this world and serious prayers and holiness are needed to battle them and prevail.

Jesus said "Since the time of John the baptist the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent ones take it by force."
If we are not spiritually violent some powers will waste people's lives and continue with their children unhindered.

A prayer in the name of Jesus is not occultism.
A back to sender prayer in the name of Jesus,without anyone in your mind,is not occultic prayer.

What you need to understand is that prayers are spiritual.Eph.6:12 says "For we wrestle not against flesh & blood ,but against principalities,against powers against the rulers of darkness of this world ,against spiritual wickedness in high places."

How and when do we wrestle? We wrestle when we pray and fast ,reject evil,claim what belongs to us in prayers,and when we confess the word of God.
In prayer u are battling in the spirit with the help of God. But when someone slaps u or curse u,that is physical not spiritual.You must not fight back or curse those that curses you,but you can reject the curses because it is spiritual.If the curse is from an harbalist,u can reject it and give a decree for the curses to go back to the sender,because that is spiritual.For the curse to back fire ,u must have authority in Christ Jesus ,if not it will not go back.And that that is not an occult practice.

Physical fight and hatred is what God hates.You must love and pray for ur enemies because u can identify the enemies.And in prayers ,if take someone as ur enemies & u are praying against such a person,the prayers will not be answered,except if it not in d name of Jesus.Truth is,that person is a sinner and has made himself an enemy to those his praying against.This is a case of two fighting.

You can not pray against someone with witchcraft,but u can pray against the spirit of wichcraft inside the person.

In a case where, because u erected a fence round ur building,though the landlords in the area have tried to persuade u against it and u rejected for sucurity reasons,and some of the Landlords came to u early morning around 5.40 am and stood a little far from ur house and pointing hands in the direction if ur house started cursing you and your family . You not commited any offence against the state or community law nor have u done any wrong, but they feel that ur compound should be allowed to people to link to the main road.If among the curses that early morning was that "the person and his family will not live in that compound in good health and in peace,and it is only the going out of the person the family would see but they will not witness his coming back "What will you do as a christian were they are so bold as to bringing sacrifice close to ur gate.?

Surely as a spirit filled child of God,u will know that the curses were not jokes and could prosper if u do not reject them and command the evil spirits attached to them to go back to the senders.But while praying, if in ur mind u habor hatred towards them and have pictured anyone among them with ur mind as ur enemies,ur prayers might not be answered unless you see it that "we wrestle not against flesh and blood" .And about 3 months later,if two among them came to ask for forgiveness and gave their lives to Christ,that is not cultism.

There is no cultism in the prayers to God,if u pray amiss it will not be answered by God.You will not see the effect of ur prayers. Jesus said a house that is divided against itself shall not stand.So Satan can not bring the effect of such prayers to pass,knowing that it would reduce his followers.

I do not criticise any church,unless i have been a member of such a church and can say from my experience that it is not a church of God.But, the says that every idle word we speak shall be accounted for.

They struggled for hours and released me to go. No spirit was removed from me, so I went out the same way as when I came in.

THE CHURCH EVENTS
The following day being Friday, I was invited by the same Anthony to attend their night vigil at the Assemblies of God church, Silver Valley, Port Harcourt. I accepted this invitation because attending church services to cause slumber and confusion was part of our assignments. The program started with choruses. We sang until one of the members raised a popular chorus by a particular Christian Band, of the powerlessness of other powers except Jesus' power. Then I started laughing. I laughed because when in the spirit I looked into their lives almost three quarters of the people singing this chorus were living in sin. I knew that because of the sins in their lives, they were exposed and could be harmed seriously by these powers. It is important that Christians obey the word of God and not allow besetting sins to remain in their lives. In that service we were four from the sea and were singing and clapping with them. Again I want to stress here that when a service is started, members should be advised first to confess their sins, then go into a period of real praises to God. This will make an agent of Satan present very uncomfortable and in fact escape for his/her life.

In this particular service we were very comfortable and even went into operation. Many started sleeping, choruses were sung weakly and things went zig-zag. Brother Anthony had already told them about me so at about 2.00 a.m. they called me out to pray for me. As soon as I came out to the front they started pleading the blood of Jesus. I stopped them and said: “It is not pleading the blood that is the solution. I am a deep secret society member. If you agree that you can deliver me, then will I kneel down.” These words I spoke were not premeditated. THE BLOOD OF JESUS SCARES THE DEMONS AND PROTECTS THE BELIEVER, BUT DOES NOT BIND DEMONS. Binding of demons only takes place when the Christian uses his authority and gives the command. They agreed and I knelt down. At that point a sister led by the Sprit of God shouted and said: “If you are not worthy, do not come near!” I am sure many did not understand what she meant. It is dangerous for a Christian living in sin to cast out demons. Many withdrew and a few came out to pray for me. As they started with “In Jesus name,” I heard a big bang inside me and fell on the floor.

Immediately the flying demon in me went into action. I started running with my chest. Anybody possessed with this flying demon is always very wicked and dangerous. The brethren never saw what was happening spiritually. I was running because of the stronger power in the room. Two opposing forces went into action and the atmosphere changed. I suddenly stood up and became very violent etc. A demon went out of me and possessed a boy in their midst and he started fighting them, trying to rescue me. The brethren never wasted time with him rather they took him and others who were afraid to the church vestry and locked them inside. This continued till 7.00 a.m. I was physically exhausted and became quiet, so the brethren gathered around me again and started shouting: “Name them!” “Who are they?” etc. I kept quiet. After waiting for a long time and I said nothing, they were deceived to believe that I was delivered. They prayed and we dismissed. I was so physically weak that I found it difficult to walk out of the church. But something happened, for as soon as I walked out of the church and crossed the road, I became very strong physically. Perhaps some of the demons that left came back. I became very angry and decided to take vengeance on the church. “This people had insulted me” I said to myself, and for this insult I was going back to Lagos and get more powers with others as wicked as myself, and then come back to Port Harcourt to take vengeance on ALL the members of the Assembly of God, Silver Valley.

EN ROUTE TO LAGOS
On getting to my uncle's wife house, I told them I was leaving for Lagos immediately. I refused to be persuaded to stay and I took a taxi to Mile 3 motorpark where I took a taxi for Onitsha. My intention was to stop at Onitsha, see a friend and then proceed to Lagos. At Mile 3 we took off and on getting to Omagwe, at the International Airport Junction, I heard a voice calling me by my native name “NKEM.” I turned around to see if there was a known face in the taxi but there was none. It teaches that if bad things happen in one's life,it an outworking of bad karma.And if good things happen to a person,it is an outworking of good karma.

Lets assume the above is right.When Cain killed Abel in Gen.4:8, was that as a result of the evil that Abel commited ,that made him to die a sudden death in his brothers hand?
Was that the law of Karma?

Jesus did not teach reincarnation,he taught resurrection.

Gal 6:7-8 says" Be not deceived ;God is not mocked:For whatesoever a man soweth ,that he shall also reap.For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption;but he that soweth to d spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting".
This verses do not teach reincarnation but judgment after death.
Heb.9:27 says that a man is destined to die once,after that is judgement.

This law of Karma is not mentioned in the bible.It not a biblical teaching in anyway but the idea of the idol worshippers in India.

The work of the holy spirit in the life of a christian is to direct us,teach us, caution us ,rebuke us,guide us and protect us.

The bible did not say that someone who had been living a holy life for years and commits sin mistakinly,does not have the grace to ask for forgiveness. Such person would make heaven except if he does not ask for forgiveness.

Likewise anyone who had been living in sins for decades has the grace of God to ask for forgiveness and be saved.Our God is a mercyful God. He says that he does not delight in d death of a sinner but in the repentance.

The reward of a holy person of 30 years of good service to the Lord cannot be compared with the reward of a holy person that got converted last month,where the two made heaven.

The devil is aware that we have the grace to ask for forgiveness and has used this against many people.Nobody knows when he will die or what will happen the next one hour.

To be saved at the last minute is the grace of God.Watch and pray the bible says ,because nobody knows tomorrow.

Jesus told us about the rich man and father Abraham.He did not tell us that the rich man came back as a begger.

What is the use of the death of Jesus iif reincarnation or law of Karma will make us petfect in the long run?

That is why we should be prayerful and not allow any doctrine that is not biblical to be pushing us arround. The bible is there as our guide.

+I guess we can comfortably say that energy is our God and we all come from energy and when we die we turn into some different type of energy (I know I sound like a noob)

But really there still isn't any relation between how the universe was created and energy though. And I know I might sound silly .. But from the little I know of energy, its just a word used to describe a phenomenon that is already in place. Something must have kick started that phenomenon. There must have been an initial burst of it in the first instance for it to continue to exist in different forms? I don't know if am making sense?

A normal human being should know that God exists.
Anyway you view it,ie if their senses are functioning & their spirit man is not controlled by demons,or spiritually caged,they should know that there is a creator ,with some supernatural powers ,that created d world.
The account of Jesus is real ,and a sensible person would have ,at least do little investigation about him and his miracles.The bible always mention the names of Kings,cities,and real names of people's lineage from generation to generation.
The bible talks about how God parted the red sea for about 7 hrs and d Israelites escaped from the Egyptians ,and concluded by saying that Pharaoh and the Egyptians perished in the red sea.
A sane person or someone seeking the truth would have reasoned from that point that "for a sea to be divided and some people to escape on dry land for hours is not a myth, if the names mentioned actually existed and the nation of Egypt did not dispute that it happened to them.
So,they are aware of the fact but have gone too far from God,that they would rather believe the satanic message ,that God does not exist,because it would remove guilt from their hearts.There case is like someone with a problem that drinks alcohol ,thinking it would erase the problem or make him to forget the problem.
They know what they are doing.
Some are Satanic agents directly from the pit of hell,they will argue with you, as demons do.Demons can talk and can design and use the internet better than we.
Some are insane.

Having argument with an insane person means the two are insane.
Trying to convince a demon that God exist is useless.
There is nothing u can do about someone who has decided to choose lie or lie to himself that there is no God,so that he would continue to steal,fornicate, abuse etc because he does not want to repent .

I witnessed a scene at mushin in 1999 or so.A thief was caught and was set ablaze at Olosha bus stop,while people were gathered and mourning for that thief as he was been roasted alive,another thief was picking a pocket ( trying to steal money from somebody's pocket) among the crowd that were gathered.He was caught and also burnt to death. This means that even if Obama calls it "mark of the beast 666" directly, they will not mind and would go ahead and receive it.They will tell u "I do not care".

So, stop arguing with these categories of people above,because there is no sense u can make as far as they are concerned.Go to hospitals,prison yards and preach,some will accept and some will not.But because they have witness something about life,they are likely to believe you.

The love of God that is in you that wants you to share this facts will not depart from your life in the name of Jesus.

Remember in Revelation,13:6"And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God,to blasphem his name,and the his tabernacle,& them that dwell in heaven." So don't be surprised when they call Jesus bad name.

I know your intention is to convince many that there are powers that push people into hell fire. But some have people have decided to go to hell and some know they can not escape hell ,like d demons.

If u do not stop preaching to them,they will abuse and curse very soon.

I agree with u concerning that,but a person may be qualified and d prayers answered but not received.Daniel 10:12. My questions are these :How do we know that God has not answered ?How can we be sure that it is not some evil powers that are hindering the answers to the prayers? Is is not possible not to recieve answer due to our sins?
