you will be taxed as normal according to the rate on hmrc website. If at the end of the annual tax year in April and you paid too much tax the previous year, you will be refunded. If you underpaid, hmrc will still send a letter to you to repay what you owe.
Same applies, your extra job will be classed as a 2nd job and you will be taxed accordingly…
Thanks boss

My questions plenty small

1) please which of these app is the best app for preparing for the driving test

2) if i invite a friend from nigeria for my graduation and he elopes what will happen?

3) how exactly does the gov know the right amount of tax to debit from our salary monthly?
I know its very easy to determine how much tax one is to pay monthly provided ones annual income is known.
But what about someone who just started a job and the monthly income is not static, and such person has not even used a year yet. How then did the gov know exactly the right amount that they are debiting monthly?

4) if someone works two job, will the two wages be taxed separately or the taxes for the two jobs will be taken from the wage of one of the jobs

5) i noticed that most jobs ask for driver license and even if your role does not concern care they still put DL license as requirements why? Does project manager want to be going shopping for CEO ni?

6) i know that the requirement for COS is proof of english, someone was telling me that companies here in uk dont like accepting transcript or waiver from your uni in nigeria that it is either ielts or ecctis verification.

And this got me confused, afterall the company should know that i scaled through english test before even being accepted to run a masters degree in uk, so why cant they use my nigerian bsc transcript or uk msc transcript or CAS as proof of english proficiency, why must it be ecctis rating or ielts, or could the person who told me this info be blatantly wrong?
Who can answer number 2 3 and 4

I will answer the ones I'm sure .

1. I used the first app . 4 in 1 driving test

5. Lmaoooo. I think some companies do on-call for our of hours and incase you need to be there for something. Mine is not care, they are advising me to get one. And I like to think having it improves one chances of getting a job by 10% if not more.

6. If you did your MSc here or doing your MSc here. You don't need proof of English egain na.
Thanks boss

Your choice...... But if you pass in an automatic vehicle....... You can only automatically drive, automatic vehicles in the UK .......🤣😜

Attempting to drive a manual vehicle, is illegal and is deemed as you not having a driving licence.........
I go manage my auto like that

The Mathematics won't be too hard but one has to make so so many assumptions in such calculation. Rates of Interest changes, Asset Appreciation, Rent hike, etc. There are no hard and fast rules and the preferred option will change with slight adjustment in any of those assumptions
True.

Taking into factor that you’re paying rent (landlord’s mortgage) you could use same for yours.
The thing is mathematics can be very funny. We are just talking based on assumptions and not hard data.

Until someone sits down, with all things being equal, and give both parties. (Party A - an immigrant renting a house) (Party B - an immigrant who is owning a house with 5% down payment)

Lets assume party A rents for 5 years and he saved up about 20% down payment for a mortage of 20years on a house of 200k

Lets assume Party B has always owned a house on mortgage with a down payment of 5% for a house of 200k for 20 years.

I dont know who would have saved more money. I wish there was hard data we can work with to see which is better, to save up enough deposit for a mortage while still paying rent. Or just go into the mortgage market from the on set even if we have only 5% deposit
TravelRe: Living In The UK: Property,Mortgage And Related by eniola1010(m): 7:10am On May 01, 2023
I dont know if i am missing something. But why is everyone fighting for lenders giving as low as 5% deposit, that means lender will be giving u as much as 95% ltv. Do we understand that the lower ur deposit, the more you'll end up paying as interest and the longer you will pay interest?

Why arent we fighting to have enough cash to pay deposit, so we can pay as much as 30% deposit?

Abi am i wrong mathematically

Once you obtain a full DL, it's subject to renewal every 10 years ........

You don't do another test, you simply pay, tick boxes and submit your application (not unless your license is subject to a revoking order)...... Then you might be required to undergo a medical examination etc etc ....
Dont mind me. I just read what u wrote well. I thought it was the licesnse u said expires every two years. I just read that it is the thory test that expires bi annually

Lexusgs430:
- Get a provisional licence
- Start preparing for your theory test
- After you pass the theory test
- Pay a driving instructor or buy a vehicle, then get a friend/enemy, with a full DL of over 3 years to instruct you (if using a friend/enemy). Once you perfect your driving skills, get a licenced instructor to top up (possibly 5 lessons).....

Once you get positive FB, about your ability to drive, coordinate, adherance/understanding of the highway code.......

BOOK A TEST (hopefully you would pass at 1st attempt)........

NB: Your theory test, once passed..... Expires after 2 years......

Also ensure your vehicle is fully legal, before you hit the road.......
So i have to be renewing my license every two year through a test or just through paperworks. Asin after two years and the license has expired, will i just need to submit some documents to renew or i will go through driving tests again to renew?

If someone want to start driving in uk without license. What is the first step in learning how to drive.

After or before driving school what next?

You do not change from a Nigeria license to a UK license. The first thing you need to do is to apply for UK provisional driving license
2. Apply for the Uk theory test which you need to pass before you can be ready for the practical driving test
3. Apply for the practical driving test once you pass your theory test.

All these must be done within one year of your arrival in the UK
What do u mean all these must be done within one year? So if i dont learn how to drive within one year in uk i cant learn how to drive in uk again?

What revenant work experience do you have and do you need sponsorship.... all that is listed below to find sponsorship is not easy and entry having relevant experience is the main koko
I never get experience yet.
Plan is to work in any of the field for 2 years under post graduate visa. Then find spons after two years since by then i'd have had experience.

But i need to know the niche that will be hot by then. It should not be limited to the three listed.

It depends if there's red light camera at the junction.

Wait for 2 weeks to see if you will get letter....palpitations period for any brown envelopes.

You may likely escape this scenario. Reflect on it and don't break the red light signs.

The rule for me is from far distance, check the traffic lights and if green has been for a long time before l reach the junction, I reduce speed as l am approaching, knowing that it will soon change to Amber to red.
We wey come dey cross road even when light never green for pedestrian nkan?

Guys please can someone explain what rqf and nvq is.

1) are they both same thing?

2) is rqf or nvq for people in care roles or hca only? Because why do people with nvq 6 or above earn more than a masters degree holder doing the same care work in same office even when online it is said that masters degree is an equivalent of nvq 7?

3) how could someone get these nvq and rqf certs?...
