rinzylee: Tier 2 - A) 37.5hrs + 20extra hours maximum B) If your COS says you are a doctor, you can only work as doctor.
ILR A) You can work uncountable hours B) You can work as anything, anywhere and anytime.
Hope this is self explanatory? Oh wow i never knew this before. Na wa o |

rinzylee: All restrictions previously placed on your hours or type of employment are lifted. If you are a doctor and you want to work as a butcher, for 1000hrs a week, you are absolutely free to do so. Sorry i process info very slowly. So you are saying the amount of hours a person with ilr status can do is/can be more than someone on t2 visa? |

rinzylee: Sorry o, I was away.
Basically Agency jobs pay more than normal NHS shift but you are not entitled to paid leave or holidays. I also don't think they have health insurance like the normal NHS would provide.
It's like a person who books a bolt ride from Ikeja to costain vs Using BRT for the same route, the charges would be different.
The fact remains, that you start earning money in this UK after ILR, because all those restrictions on how much hours you can put in would be non-existent.
Just keep your records clean and wait in hope!!!! What did u mean by hours you put in is non existent? If you are on work visa and after you have gained ilr status is it not same number of hours you can work if you choose to? Abi i am confused. Pls explain |

bigtt76: Not required so far as the dependent has been issued with a visa on the grounds of a main applicant I am talking of when the dependent want to apply for dependent visa. The person never get visa yet. But she is already done registry with the MA. As you already know, the dependent cant already have the MA's surname cus the wedding is still fresh. The dependent still carries her father's name on all her documents. Now i am saying. Can the dependent still apply for the visa even though she has not taken her husband's name yet across all her documents |

Abeg when dependent is coming over. Is it compuslory the dependent name on the passport must already be carrying the MA's surname. Or the wedding certificate is suffice to iron out those kind of name issues.
Abi the dependent will need affidavit. |

If a t4 wanna switch to t2, must the person stop his education. Or the person can be a t2 and still continue with his education?
Also if someone is sponsored by a company lets say 5years. Is it compulsory such person work for that company for the 5years. What if he sees another better company willing to sponsor him |

CheesyTee: Makes sense I think the basis of dependent coming is on the validity of MA's brp, not MA's course end. Like what i mean is that if MA course ends in May, and MA brp ends in Sept. Its safe to say ukvi considers 6months to Sept as the deadline for when Dependent can apply and not 6months to May. Me too i no sure sha but this is the only ideal thing i can think of |

NnenaRita: I think study end date is different from when your visa expires. There is usually an additional 4 months after. So I guess the wife's study end date was May but visa was valid till September. Yeah thats true. Cus the date on brp is always the 4 month extra. So i am wondering why they gave him visa that lasts till sept when his wife's brp ends in may. Maybe he got it mixed up. Let him clarify sha. |

CheesyTee: If your wife is the PA and her BRP is set to expire in May, then your visa will be valid till May. Dependent visa tenure ends same date as the primary applicant.
Kindly help clarify. That is exactly what he is saying na, or can dependent go ahead of PA? With his write up you should know his wife is the PA. He says that when it was MAY both of them now applied for the psw. |

Don't know if this helps.
