I wanna ask a question.
Pls how exactly does this walkin work?

Lets assume i applied on 29th of june. And i was given biometric date to be 20th of july. Does it mean i can walkin 30th of june or any day earlier than my biometric date and do my biometric provided i'm ready to part way with 42000naira.

There is a reason i am asking this.

As far as I know, Walk-in is paid for @ their office with your naira card (no cash payment) and not online. Book your normal biometrics first, print out all necessary printouts and when you ready for your biometrics, go to VI

Moreso, i wanted to ask.
Asides these documents, (pof, tb, cas, bsc, passport bio page) what else is necessary and compulsory.

Is transcript really important since my bsc is already there?
Is birth cert really important, since my dob is on my passport?
Is cv really important? Because i've been self employed.
Is work reference important? I dont have a 5year gap. I just have 3year gap.
Although i have these supporting documents. But is it really necessary i upload them?

Furthermore, a friend of mind said somthing about summary page. That it is compulsory we upload the summary page, however, since people have been saying their success story on thread, none of them ever spoke about any summary page on the list of item they uploaded.

I'm even currently on the page. And something odd keeps happening.

I i choose walkin flexi option. It wont give any available date to pick for biometrics and the checkout option is greyed out. But if i remove the walkin flexi option, then july 20th being the next available date shows up.

Almost as if, for now, they want to stop walkin.


Tried it on 2 different laptops. Same thing. Choosing the walkin option wont bring our available date. But the moment u remove the walkin option. Available date surfaces.

I just tried doing a dummy application. Seems one cant move further without putting cas number. And i dont wanna put my real cas number.

I just wanted to do two dummy application choosing ik and vi. And comparing how far to eachother the available biometric dates are. To really see if the vi is worth it.

i checked the VI TLS like 30mins ago and the earliest date is 18th July.

Sorry bro. How are u able to comfortably check what date biometric is available haven chosen the tls one wants to use.

Is one able to check availability of biometric date before paying for ihs and visa fee or after paying for ihs and visa fee.

Hello guys please help us clarify this misconstrued statement.

Someone said choosing vi will cost you 55pounds. That is understood.

Same person said using vi walk in option will cost 11k. Apart from the initial 55pounds.
Someone else says if you use vi walk in option it will cost you 42k apart from the 55pounds.
Please guys which is correct.





Also guys, if one chooses vi walkin option. Will the biometric date be sooner than someone who chooses vi self upload option.

Guys. While reading the thread, I noticed a lot of people are having issues booking a biometric date in ikeja because the available date for now is late july.

I want to ask what alternate route there is to this. What if someone choose vi? And why dont people choose vi? Why is everyone rushing ikeja since vi is a bit free. Pls i'm confused

For a while, we've had people complaining about how to pay for their ihs, visa, school fee with their cards, even after showing them how to use barter some people still cannot circumvent their way around it, and honestly speaking its not their fault. Some people have got phobias for techie platforms and others are just being careful.

Since we've got exchangers on this platform, why not allow the exchangers to assist these set of people. This could solve the issue of payment instantly.

The Mods have to verify these set of exchangers and put their contact on front page, details of the exchanger must be collected such as a video that will be with the Mods personally, international passport, address and any other form of verification, also the Mods can stand as escrow if the volume of the transaction is rather much. Also Mods must be paid a token by both parties involved in the transaction. Also Mods can designate a fervent/or some fervent followers and contributors of the thread to be an alternative escrow incase Mods aren't available.

The Mods do something similar to this in the business section.

I don't know if it makes sense, I just thought of it today. so it is left for the Mods to either accept it or not. they have the final say.

Lets assume your school fee is 1000gpb. And according to this link i gave you. It says rate for gbp in the blackmarket is 758. You can just add 20naira extra just incase. Worse comes to worse the excess will still be in ur barter.

So. Since you will now credit your barter with 778,000 naira being money for (1000gbp x 778)

Ysj. My own school. Asks for 2weeks pof before issuing cas.

Most schools already know that weda they ask u for 1week pof or 2week pof before issuing cas, they know u cant escape the 28days pof when its time for visa application.


It is their joy to give you cas provided they have seen that you have paid school fee and you have the pof in your account. It necessarily needn't have been in ur acc for 28days to apply for cas in most cases. Because the school knows weda u like it or not, the pof must be in ur acc for 28days to apply for visa and u cant escape that.


So like i said. It is not a laid down rule for schools that ask for pof before issuing cas to ask that u provide a 28days statement before they issue you cas. Some schools may ask for 28days. And some wont ask they will ask for a week or two weeks pof. Example is york st john.
