Business › Opportunity For Unemployed Nigerians by eodavids(op): 6:49pm On Feb 16, 2020 |
Employment in today's Nigeria has become hard to find. Even the most juicy Nigerian employer, the NNPC could not employ more than little above 1,000 workers at this time when the number of our unemployed youths keeps multiplying.
The plights of interested/applicants persons in this country is touching. Its on this note that I am calling on all Nigerians at home in any of the states or Abuja Nigeria who wants to work and earn a decent living to contact me for way forward.
I am doing this to make Nigeria, our country better in my own little way.
Mods, as a matter of our collective social responsibility, push this to the front page. I will take it from there to contribute to reducing unemployment in this country.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA! |

Its about maintenance culture. Everything should not be left for government to do.
People with houses, shops, business premises, officers beside and , or behind a drainage facilities should learn to remove sand and other garbages in there.
Unless this habit is imbibed by the category of persons I mentioned above, you will found that they are the ones who will push/sweep their refuses into the water way... |

id911: About Akintola
PROFILE
ISHAQ AKINTOLA: Professor of Islamic Eschatology, currently lecturer in Lagos State University, Lasu
PHILOSOPHY: I remain oppressed until the hungry are fed, the naked clothed, the sick healed and the homeless sheltered.
BIRTH AND CHILDHOOD
Ishaq Akintola was born in Obaloran Compound, Ile-Ife. Ishaq’s mother died when he was just three years old. From the very tender age of five years, crowds used to listen to Ishaq as he recited the Qur’an at the Ile-Ife Central Mosque, Enuwa where he was placed on top of a table for all to see. He finished the Qur’an at the early age of nine years. He also learnt more Arabic under Ustadh Abdul Rauf (Ketefe) at Ojoyin, Ile-Ife.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CAREER
He was soon overtaken by his childhood love for Islamic education and he left his hometown, Ile-Ife, for the famous Ma’had Arabic Institute of Nigeria in Ibadan. His university education began with a Certificate course in Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Ibadan where he excelled and got a Distinction plus the Arab League Prize. In 1975 he traveled to Cairo, Egypt, where he studied Simultaneous Translation (Arabic/English/French) at the Al-Azhar University which is the first university in the world. He returned to Nigeria in 1979 and obtained his Masters in Arabic and Islamic Studies as well as Master of Philosophy at the University of Ibadan in 1981and 1983 respectively. He bagged his doctorate degree (Ph.D) at the University of Ilorin in 1990.
Ishaq Akintola worked as a teacher of Arabic at the Oshowusi Memorial Grammar School, Iloko, Ilesha (1972 – 1974), and at the Islamic High School, Orita-Bashorun, Ibadan (1980 – 1984). He became a lecturer at the Lagos State University (LASU) in 1984.
JIHAD AND DA‘WAH ACTIVITIES
Is-haq Akintola is a born jihadist. Even as a young student in the Arabic Institute, Ibadan (Ma’had), he led fellow students in a protest. In Cairo, he led students of al-Azhar University to confront science students who mocked and cheated students of Arabic and they won their freedom. After returning to Nigeria, he joined Dr. Beko Ransome Kuti, Femi Falana and others in the Campaign for Democracy to confront military dictators.
He established two Islamic organizations: the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) for the protection and promotion of the rights of Muslims in Nigeria and beyond and Tele-Dawah for the preaching of Islam on television, radio and through public lectures and tracts. Today he is the Director of the Muslim Rights Concern, Ambassador of Tele-Dawah and Coordinator of Muslims Against Aids (MAIDS). Is-haq Akintola is always in the news either on television, on radio or on the pages of newspapers. Akintola is, no doubt, an icon of great treasure, a jihadist of repute.
Ishaq Akintola led Nigerian Muslims in the agitation for a work-free Friday. He also featured prominently in the struggle to establish Shari’ah by engaging Christians in debates on radio and television. His deep knowledge of the Bible enabled him to defeat all his opponents. He has led Lagos Muslims to demonstrate against Israel and to protest against hijab restrictions. Akintola’s boldness knows no bounds. He is a friend of the oppressed, a champion of the mases

Politics › Re: Abraham Amuta Rejects Offer To Be Freed By Boko Haram, Dumps Christianity by eodavids(m): 8:19am On Feb 03, 2020 |
agwom: An ex-member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Abraham Amuta, yesterday allegedly turned down an offer by the Boko Haram insurgents to be freed and go home. Instead, the ex-corps member reportedly told those who went to the Sambisa forest to secure his release to go back home, saying he had renounced his Christian faith.
Amuta, a native of Benue State, who was doing his one-year mandatory service in Borno State, was abducted alongside a 58-year-old man, Moses Oyeleke of Living Faith Church in Maiduguri and few others, including a schoolgirl, Ndagiliya Ibrahim Umar, on April 10, 2019.
They were abducted along Gwoza road from Maiduguri on their way to Chibok to deliver humanitarian assistance.
Seven months after his abduction by the Boko Haram fighters loyal to Abubakar Shekau, Pastor Oyeleke was released in November 2019.
https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/ex-corps-member-turns-down-offer-to-be-freed-by-b-haram.html Clearly, he lost his will. When a man loses his will, he will no longer live for himself nor for what he understand. |

Built2last: We currently have OVER 258 confirmed cases of lassa fever with more than 40 deaths so far in Nigeria.
Now I'm hearing with my left ear that the deadly respiratory infection known as Corona virus which started in Wuhan, China MAY actually be closer to us in Nigeria than we had imagined. It is already in Kenya, Ivory Coast and Ethiopia. And come February 2, hundreds if not thousands of Chinese resident in Nigeria who went home for their Lunar new year will start returning to Naija. With our govt announcing Visa-On-Arrival policy plus the porous nature of our land borders, not forgetting the general governmentlessness in the land,
How prepared are we to tackle this deadly disease?
How does the Corona virus spread? What are the symptoms? What are the preventive measures we need to take to avoid the virus? Please I want experts on the subject matter to tell us if the virus is transmittable through goods and logages, because these are coming in from China in droves and may not get attentions and testings compared to humans |

Arrewa: Killing our people in the east... And still coming on Nairaland to boast about the killings...
But note: if our people retaliate by killing your own people don't start crying Genocide and yearning for international sympathy...
Fulanis doing their business in the east were murdered in cold blood... And I can see some southerners in full support of these Atrocities...
Were the Fulanis killed bandit?? No Did they attacked anyone?? No Did they try robbing anyone?? No
They were killed because of the tribe they found themselves in...
If we start our own now they will start crying Genocide...
The highest thing you will do is to start killing Nigeriens migrant...migrants from Niger republic that you believe are Hausas... Just the way you massacre them at onitsha thinking you are killing the Northerners while you people suffered real casualties in the north...
Right now... Na una start the killings Killing Nigerians doing their business just because they were perceived to be fulanis And you are buying into the ploy that the foolish comment was made by an Igbo person. Think better. Its a non-igbo person with intention to cause disaffection that posts such unguarded comment. |
Romance › Re: She's The Best Woman For Me But Not That Beautiful. Should I Still Marry Her? by eodavids(m): 3:39pm On Jan 26, 2020 |
Omoakin120: Hello everyone, I have something bothering my mind for a long time which I need an advice on.
I have a girlfriend who I really love so much, we were friends before I started falling for her, we've been together for long, I enjoyed her company, she's the best woman to me, she's everything you'll love a wife to be in character, caring, love and all.
Unfortunately, I have a problem, and the problem is that, she's not that beautiful to me. I'm a kind of person that doesn't like trying what my mind doesn't fully want, whenever I think of her, it's only that aspect I don't always like.
I've always fantasized of marrying someone very beautiful cos that's what I want. The problem is that this girl is so good to me. I have no problem with her, but I'm only thinking I can get fed up of her with time cos of her beauty which is not up to my expectation and I may likely cheat on her.
Please, I don't know what to do, can I still risk being with her or leave her? I take it you are being honest in this, so take the candid from me. BEAUTY IS OF TWO KINDS AND YOU ARE TO PRIORITIZE ONE OVER THE OTHER. A wise man once said: WHAT IS THE HUMAN BEING IS NOT THE TALL OR SHORT, THE RUBUST OR THING, THE FAIR OF BLACK, THE FINE FACE NOR THE NON-FINE FACE OF WOMAN OR MAN AROUND, AS WE OBSERVE WITH THE EYES; WHAT REALLY IS THE HUMAN IN PEOPLE IS THE INNER BEING WHICH COMES OUT IN CHATACTERS, HABITS AND BEHAVIOURS. SO, IF YOUR FRIEND'S UNFAKED/UNFEIGNED BEHAVIOURS AND GENERAL CHARACTER IS BEAUTIFUL, THEN SHE IS INFACT VERY BEAUTIFUL. FORGET THE PHYSICAL LOOKS. OF COURSE YOU'RE AWARE PHYSICAL ENDOWMENTS AND LOOKS ARE NOT AS IMPORTANT AS INNER QUALITIES. OK, take it rough: women with physical beauty are more likely to frustrate a man and render him unhappy in life than woman with inner beauty. Look around, you will discover that most men with BEAUTIFUL WIVES are unhappy, compared to the men whom you may see their wives average (let me use this term). Chose what benefits you on the long run. Don't make a foolish decision and die of frustration from a pretty who will arrogantly tell you she should have chosen any of the other numerous men coming for her... Or you come back here in this forum to tell us how you get maltreated from a slay queen. Goodluck to you! |

Stalwert: I taught you cared about the Rule of Law You meant 'thought' I suppose. You are right there. Rule of law is everything we need in this country. But the AGF is not the law. Won't you be proud of Nigeria if Malami had, on a general note cautioned and threatened all state Governors practicing caretaker administration in their respective LGAs? Do you support SELECTIVE JUSTICE? If you do, I am rather for holistic justice. THE LAW SHOULD BE ADMINISTETED TO ALL ITS SUBJECTS EQUALLY. |
Politics › Re: Malami Asks Makinde To Dissolve LG Caretaker Chairmen by eodavids(m): 9:55am On Jan 21, 2020 |
Stalwert: Imagine after borrowing then realising that such borrowed funds was on their own accord and not on behalf of the LG. As far as the Law is concerned they are illegally occupying a position and merely impersonating the real LG chairmen. Pls tell me, is it only Gov. Seyi Makinde that is currently running the LGAs with caretakers? All over the North and south you have this practice by (especially) the first time Governors. So what is so special about Oyo's? |
