OgaInnocent:
No sense at all?? In deed. Well, if you read my post again, you will understand if at all you have the capacity that I respected his opinion on the marriage saga.
So my own opinion also stands for me. #peace.

On the other hand, if there are medtings held behind the scene, then let us know. People are been killed within the scene and you are meeting behind the scene. SMh.Those that are killing people are they part of the meeting behind the scene. Sorry if you are an RCCG member, but just accept this simple truth, its bitter I know, but I have no option.

Let us call a spade a spade. Let all the "big" pastors in Nigeria come out and condemn it publicly. Is that too much to ask for? Let them tell the government her sins. Is there anything too difficult in it? Christians are being killed and those that suppose to talk are not talking. Rather they are pursuing rat while the house is on fire. Nawaoo!!
There is no truth in what you are saying not to now talk of bitter or sweet. And for the record I haven't stepped foot on any redeem Church for over a year now.
Stop being short sighted and dancing to the tune of people that lack understanding. That is a characteristic of a great leader. What will Adeboye achieve if he comes on air to threaten the government, the Muslims and everybody? What? You will only give room for problems. He may say just one thing and some overzealous person somewhere can decide to take it further. At the end people like you will dig up his comments and point at it as the cause of this man's action. Forget it, you haven't convinced any peace loving person the importance of Adeboye speaking on air on the matter in the way you want him to as the way forward.

and all the political leaders made the same choice to have the same mentality?
the point you fail to understand is, since Nigeria independence this country has been ruled by people of the same mentality till this moment.
Now, people like adeboye have the Bible to teach to correct the way people perceive life. But guess what? He keeps maintaining the teachings of missionaries who brought Christianity to Africa a long time ago without willing to research about what the Bible want people to understand , all because the people like the kind of teaching which correspond with the African way.
Now, take note of this,
Jesus says this Gospel of the kingdom must be preached, then shall the end come.
If this gospel of the kingdom is abandoned for religious holy ghost services and conventions, then, truly Nigeria will continue to be in soup.
Because, the redemption of Nigeria right now is in that Gospel of the kingdom.
You may say he has been preaching the gospel of the kingdom, but It's not enough preaching. We need explanations.
What is actually this God's kingdom Jesus was referring to in his parables?
it is huge and necessary curriculum to understand, but adeboye and all pastors in Nigeria are shying away from it.
in developed nations all these things have been sorted out a long time ago, its a very sensitive issue that require intelligence. but Africa is still lagging behind, perhaps, due to lark of intelligence to understand.
The question is what is God's kingdom on earth?
if anyone get the answer to that question that is the starting point.
Any pastor who educate his people about the kingdom of God can never be criticized, never.
even atheists and Muslims will be saying this man is real man of God.
But messages of repentance, give your life to christ* (this statement is yet to be understood),come to church, pray long prayer, prophecies, etc
They are taking away attention of people from the real thing, breed distrust(because they make pastors to acquire unnecessary wealth in the midst of hungry church members.
Message of repentance is taking away Christians from the real thing? Please explain o.

I really do not understand why you pple still argue this kinda things...

We pay taxes so we can enjoy the basic amenities provided with the money either free of charge or with little charges....

You talking about rccg schools, have you ever bn dere to find out how much it will cost you to study dere?!....

HYPOCRISY!!! That's wat I hate about religion, christianity especially.

Mtchw
Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough. I mentioned those schools as source of employment to so many people. I didn't mention it in the context of if you can afford it or not. We are talking about employment here.
You pay taxes? We are talking about redeem Church here not government oga.
Continue hating o. It makes no difference really. You just decide to hate what you don't understand? Sorry o.

The bolded part is just funny cheesy. And what happens when the connect doesn't come? You would wish that you never married. Connect ko phyno ni. Let the connect come before they marry. This same couple would then bring in kids to join in their suffering.

OK you need pictures of what redeem do? Have you heard of let's go a fishing? I used to be with redeem during my service year about 4 years back in a remote village in the East and we tried to touch lives. In case you don't know redeem is one of the very few grassroot churches we have in Nigeria.
FYI what matters most is the message that was passed.
Christianity Etc › Re: Open Letter To Pastor Adeboye by eph12(m): 10:31pm On Aug 02, 2016
JW? Why?
You guys just like wasting cyber space. Many people have been employed by the redeem Church. Their houses for rent close to the camp is one of the cheapest with almost 24hrs electricity. It is not the job of the church to set up industries so you can be employed. Redeem has schools all over the country and those schools don't run themselves. The university is there also so what's your problem? Redeem is one Church that involves themselves in CDS. I also know they do visit remand homes, orphanage. They do help to clean up some streets. If you are jobless please don't blame this Church or any other church. Thanks.

I believe he was talking to a set of people. He wouldn't say the same thing if he was addressing you. You don't need a prayerful wife but his people do. It doesn't make them better than you or you better than them. You don't need a wife that can cook but he has identified that as an important part when considering a wife. In summary the message was not for you so move on.
I don't know why you are angry he didn't insult the government on the because of the murder of that woman. What good would that achieve? OKso because he didn't call for the heads of those people you think he is dumb? Do you know the meetings held behind the scene?
No sense at all.

And oh! I am not married infact i don't need marriage.
Does that mean i am a devil or a sinner.

pray? For one hour? why? I thought they (so called pastors),claim that God already knows our heart and worries. Why then do we need one hour to tell God our problems if God already knows. This so called christians and pastors are confused as i am.

Guess the police is finally useless since they are not good for anything.
Fact is padding is not looting just like attempted murder is not murder.
I believe you are smart so look at this scenario. 100 billion for borehole was sneaked into the budget. 60 billion was actually used and the remaining was used to build a hospital. Is this the same as looting?

I wonder where you were when PMB insisted certain elements that found their ways into the budget must be removed. The only thing Jibrin's action is telling us is WHO DID WHAT. Not that padding was done because we already knew that long before now.
Yea that's true though I thought it was dealt with then.

Revelation? It's looking like a one man mopol thing here. Jibrin has been going about on his own since. And we shouldn't be happy with the presidency for the revelation. Jibrin is to thank for that. The reaction from the presidency is what we are expecting now.

As far as am concerned APC and Buhari are folding their hands right now. It's beginning to look like Jibrin is a one man mopol. Why has no other representative or senator spoken on this? They can't claim not to know anything. Also remember Dambuzzau Buratai? Am not saying they are guilty but we will never know for sure because everything will be forgotten very soon including this.

Nonsense from PDP as usual.

Do they think we don't know budget padding is as old as our democracy?

Didn't we read severally how OBJ and his ministers used to bribe the NASS to pass budget after executive padding?

Didn't we read how budget figures increased astronomically overnight after padding by NASS?

That we now officially know about budget padding is credit to PMB. His insisting to vet the budget before signing into law is commendable because those thieves at NASS would have had their ways as usual.
And that was why Nigeria rose to vote out the PDP.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: The Plight Of Second Class Lower in Nigeria by eph12(m):
Your grade has nothing to do with why you are not yet employed. There are a lot of 2.2 graduates doing very fine even in engineering. Also there are a lot of 2.1 graduates who are in the same shoes as you.
What you can do?
1. Have a long discussion with yourself. Have an agreement with yourself that this is what you want to do. Discuss with yourself where you hope to see yourself in 5-10 years time.
2. Search for relevant professional cert in your field. You can also take up management courses. Your bsc is never enough again.
3. Do volunteer jobs. Work for free if possible. You say you have bills to pay? Cut down on those expenses. Forget about your school mates then that are doing very fine now. It may seem they are but deep down many are in trouble. You need the real time experience and not some bsc cert.
4. Be very resourceful, proactive and dependable even if you are not being paid or the money can't do much for you. Someone is always watching. Never shy away from responsibilities as the experience may come in handy in some better job you will get later.
5. Are you a Christian? Join a big Church that has lots of professionals and be a part of the workforce. Let them feel your seriousness. Somebody there will know somebody that knows somebody that can help you.
