Thanks. It is a two-fan radiator. Can the problem be the fact that it is a one-cell radiator?
timenamoney:
what is Dead about this issue ( don't you have a better polite way to express yourself? ) or what wrong advise are you talking about when I said NO when asked if one cell radiator is the issue (after he admits he has two cell already )

two cells radiator is bigger and contain more coolant and have better chance to discharge heat especially during a hot summer traffic jams with air conditioner on ( don't it make sense to you, Mr perfect ? )

you sound un-polite without reading properly which is very bad of you
#be social
check who was suggesting two cell radiator here! The OP said he has two fans on his single cell radiator,

If you have lived abroad for so long, i take GOd beg you, dont bring any High Tech Mentality back Ooo; you will run mad in no time. I also recommend SIMPLICITY. We lack basic fundamentals and lack foundation in infrastructures. I live a Minimalist life style when in Naija. I cant come and kill myself
That was what I meant when I made that statement and of how we now appreciate local knowledge more.Who wears it feels it.

I think you talked about building CNC back then? Come and see CNC in almost every building in Mushin right now with almost every one turning into machinists.

Our major problem is leadership. We just need to do away with the old generation and start working with young and innovative minds (18 - 55) should be it if we want to see meaningful development.

The 55 - 100+ should start playing the role of John the Baptist.

______

HFP has been leading the prefab construction sector for over 3 decades in Nigeria but we never deem it fit to document true success.
A lot of easterners are big industrialists. I’ve seen lots of indigenous solutions and I cannot but marvel at our ingenuity.

We just have the wrong people at the helms of power.
I just think we need to decentralize the center for Nigeria to work again.

______

I’m still looking at entering into the prefab market. Why do we need to cast lintels in these age? Aren’t there better and more cheaper alternatives than the conventional approaches?

______
oh yeah CnC is the way to go in building models and samples. I left that in the shelf for now u till I be like Egunmogaji. However I'm improving my knowledge base on that matter and experimenting at my free time how it would work in 9ja..I'm at wrk atm and will soon close thank God no Beeps no alarms so I did not have to go tools container
on the brighter side we are moving slowly but surely in the right direction and taking reasonable risks.I took a risk wen I changed my RRS from RHD to LHD. loads of people are taking loads of risk to innovate the building sector too.the word just has to be kept spreading.plis I'm happy 4 you bro.U have brushed off your rough edges. u av come a long way. I can tell U have greatly improved on the customer relations front.

Nop I cant be polite cos it's advice like these that lead people to kill thier cars. There are cars equipped with double cells and double fans.leave the damn car the way it was manufactured. No one in the US will advise you to do same in summer cos wen U say summer you mean America or Europe cos 9ja do t have it.I repeat Texas is very hot in the summer and Florida has a topical feel no one does that shyte in thier cars. replace like 4 like parts. you belong to them school of thought who sing tropicalization.

We recently discussed number of baths required per flat. How about the number of water heater required in a 2 bed apartment?

I wish house agents will shook mouth for this matter.
I use tankless instant hot shower for my ensuite room right now and I plan to do same in my build. since we are moving away from bath tubs.

I went the instant water heater (Ariston Pronto Neo) way jejely.

Traditional water heaters take time to reach preferred temperatures, thus wasting energy.

I’ve not explored the option of a solar water heater though but I’ve heard about DC water heaters.

_______
Some of our people are the reason why diasporas keep abusing us grin

All these alternative options are out there but they’ll only be here to advertise and not to share knowledge. Instant and Tankless water heaters have been here for over decade and we don’t get to hear much about them.
ahah Bro only the ignorant Diasporant will abuse people back in 9ja. Car Talk › Re: Hot Temps Effects In Engine Oil Viscosity Above +100 Oil Temp During Summer by erico2k2(m): 11:26pm On Oct 13, 2020
the short answer to it question is NO it doesn't matter. All fluid has elasticity. ie range of hot and cold tolerance. then the weight.Oil are more effective at max engine temp.

That Old Nigeria is long gone. There are lots of robotics lab, tech hubs and incubators in Nigeria as of today.

Eg:

Sillicon Valley - Nigeria Economic Development (SVNED Inc) https://www.svned.com

Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Nigeria (RAIN) in Ibadan.

CC-Hub and many others.

Osinbajo is pushing/championing that front.

We launched his tech hub about 2 years ago in Ibadan. The government is diversifying the economy already. It’s just that we have a president that do not understand what’s going on.

I’m confident there’s hope for Nigeria.
true but the much needed infrastructure is not there.we talking robotics when things as simple as steady electricity is not there not to talk of the internet wifi etc

For goodness sake, how hard is it to understand that eliminating our daily dollar bleed importing refined Petroleum (billions of $ annually) will drastically reduce dollar demand & price? Or that the forex earned from exporting the excess will have a similar impact?

What about the forex saved from importing several petrochemicals, and the multiplier effects it will have on allied industries & the general economy?

Pablo25:
A Nigerian father identified as Felix Obazee, has revealed that he employed his son, Uyiogosa, as a security man at his company.

Obazee, who is the CEO of Fionet Security Services, made this known via a LinkedIn post. He shared photos of his child dressed in the company’s security uniform and said that he did it in order to give his son quality parenting.

In the post, he posed rhetorical questions to people, asking if they would choose to teach their kids their business or shield them with the flimsy talk that they do not want them to suffer.

He also thanked God for the grace he bestowed on him which enabled him to bring up responsible children, that would become leaders of their generation.

Mr Obazee’s post received numerous reactions from LinkedIn users.

Read some of the reactions:

Dotun Jegede: Talented young man builds petrol tanker prototype, photos go viral “My daughter is 10, she helps me document my consultancy income at home. She helps input data and collate client database. On this very Satuday, we both went out inside the estate to do some online submissions plans sorting.

Abraham Ojo: I hope you paid the young man.

Bala: Felix, you are my most envied parent today and will be for a long time. But credit must also go to Uyi (who deserves and lives his name ‘Praise’) for submitting to your guidance. It is not easy these days to convince adult elite children to discipline methods like these.

Kelechi Uchenna: My opinion, I would introduce my children to my business and let them know that they are welcome to join the business if they are interested. They can be executive directors or non executive directors( owners) depending on their choice…

There is a reason why you will always depend on politics money to survive and it's because you are not a big picture man ..The aim of Dangote refinery has already been defeated the moment this year he mad Nigeria his target market ..and with the way OPEC is talking I doubt cash strapped Dangote will be able get that refinery upto 90 percent utilization..siting that refinery is Lagos is another mistake for another day
When you talk like this all the guy you quoted sees is anti-Nigeria when the obvious truth is steering us right in the face.Im sure Dangote as a businessman would have gone to the drawing board to re strategise just two days ago the chairman of British Airways stepped down as part of restructuring due to covid wahala! if nah 9ja the rational mindset takes over.

@bolded, not directly but indirectly. The dollars will definately flow in albeit at the expense of the countries that will import the mostly white products as long as they are traded in dollars to hedge against currency volatility. Also, industrialisation will spur up rapidly like in the 60s because of availability of raw materials from the petrochemical sector. I can't even begin to mention the strategic AKK pipelines, LPG plants, modular refineries, natural gas plants, power generation projects etc that will soon come on stream.

The bottom line is that the key positive trade balance units are gradually falling into place. All we need is a good fiscal regime and/or monetry policies to support the potential industralization.
I agree with you on your 2nd line, but if you check my reference it was to our local mkt can dish out.if you check the number one eaner we have is crude and it is what determins tthe naira power. The sale of final product AKA petrol and all its derivatives would be a new mkt neither me and you are privy to rather it would be open to speculation of which we all know the makt do not like!FYI check what contries of the world to which export of Premume spirit determins thier currency power by any % then you will agree with me plus the new refinary needs to satisfy the local mkt i n the 1st i nstance.I will give you my personal expirience, I brought my Range rover from the Uk to 9ja, now the Diesel spec is EURo 6 however the Dangote is going to produce Euro 5,so this means for cars made from say 2018 diesel will struggle too. but that is another argument!

Just writing gibberish with confidence.

Do you even understand the basics of supply and demand?

If Mr. A goes to Ouagadougou to buy batik to sell in Ariaria market but suddenly finds he can purchase same quantity and quality of tomatoes in Umuahia:

What would happen to his general income?

Would he save on:

Going to Mompha to buy CFA?

Would he save on travelling to Bobo dialaso for meetings and contract signing?

What happens to Mompha's dollar sale when his big customer no longer shows up?

Would he sell the dollar he had been preserving at the same rate knowing his big customer was coming to mop it up, or would he look to make quick business selling at the lowest but profitable price he can see?

Would Mr. A require dollars for conveyance, landing, even bribing?
[/s]

I insist, it is in the best interest of his backers to continue with support for the project.

Can you point to any document which suggests this refinery and its profitability is based on a given price per barrel?

Absolutely none.

There is demand for energy locally and in the sub region.

Claiming that Covid-19 or general drop in price of the feedstock has nothing to do with the project.
wel you are saying backers, I call that investors/Creditors,(meaning they cant lose cos he has to pay back.He has been taking money from creditors at current interest %, Don't 4get the creditors are mostly not Nigerians so man no man here. The interest rate varies as per world trade and the price of crude plays a significant role to his means of securing credit as the sole reason he now has to borrow is to build a refinary of whice crude is a primary raw material. Investors a no longer kin to credit the crude oil sector as its way to volatile as at today, my STAy is if 2021 and 2020 continues it will be near imposible for him to secure credit to continue. The #1 cunsumer of crud are the Airlines and they are almost all grounded.
