benuejosh:But they can't keep quiet. That's the job of the media...to liberate people from being myopic. When the government does good too, they always report it. You don't expect the media to report only what suits you all the time. They'd be biased in this case. If the news is fake, the onus is on the government to deny it. |
Wow! Impressive. Infantino must have African DNA. Thanks, thanks . Morocco is also one of organised countries in Africa with a very low rate of crime. My friend Bakhos will be so excited with this news. Many don't even know that Morocco is a mixed religous nation, but with Islam being dorminant |
The border crisis is an age long thing. It only became intense during trump's administration. From all indications, Musk seems to be a republican. Rushing to reinstate trump's twitter account was one of the proofs. |
These are the people saying you're the leaders of tomorrow but have refused to leave the space . I wish him quick recovery . Grandpa no wan rest I just pity those supporting these old politicians while they watch them milk their future dry in their very eyes. Who says you too can't be minister in your youthful age ? But they won't look your way |
Ballzproblem2:No country rules forever. One day, America will cease to exist because its a composition of many countries with 2 different languages. The aggrieved states have threatened to leave the union several times and one day, it would happen. About 5,000 years ago, if anyone could be asked which country would he or she have preferred to come from, if given the opportunity to come back to life again, the majority would have said Egypt cos they were the super power at that time, just the way America is today. At some point, power shifted to Greece but didn't stay long before the roman empire took over, then the great Britain, now America. If you ask me, I'd say I'd prefer to come from oduduwa republic cos it's a potentially great nation. It will come to pass, soon |
laurel03:I agree with you. If only all the men of God in an area, town or state could collapse structures and build just one church as it was in that era in the bible, if the motive is truly to serve one God, it wouldn't be a bad idea. But everyone wants to be GOs and stays relevant. Christendom is all about competition nowadays. They've derailed totally from the primary purposes...winning of souls and making heaven. That said, erecting big edifices isn't peculiar to Christianity alone. Have you been to core northern states? You'd see massively built mosques in compounds with nobody using it. In places where they're being used, you'd find only members of same family and associates praying there. These are the kinds of buildings SLS, the former emir of Kano said to the owners to be converted to schools and they got angry and revolted against him. The question I want to ask is....do we truly worship God and keep His commandments the same way we keep building physical edifices all over? How many of the leaders and worshippers are recognised by God? One Islamic scholar and politician who served in the past givernment was charged with corruption. He was lodged into a hotel in Abuja ahead of the court proceedings. In the day he was to appear in court, he was seen praying on the mat in his hotel room, hale and hearty. But the moment he stepped out of the room, he was seen using crutches . He performed the drama up to when he entered a vehicle, and appeared that way in court, pretending he was sick. By the time he was done, he got back to his hotel . As soon as he alighted from the vehicle, he looked left and right and suddenly walked in unaided and carried the crutches in his hands and ascended the stairs , entered his room and dumped the crutches at one side it the room, walking normal. He didn't know the cctv was recording all his activities. These are the kinds of religous leaders we have in Nigeria. Do as I say, not do as I do people. Until we change our mentally, we shouldn't expect any meaningful progress in Nigeria. |
Nokio2:If the case is verdict was challenged any other court apart from supreme court, the pdp man will still win. Did you follow the story from march at all? Not only did the pdp guy win, he won glaringly even defeated sule in his hometown and local government. They just slapped him in the face but bvas exposed them all. |
delpee:The nasarawa arrangement was quite strategic. Both candidates were indigenous nasarawa men, who have been fighting hard to get their state back from the hands of strangers who have been holding sway since 1999. Kaduna's scenario was a different one, going by their tribal differences. . |
PsTar2021:Yes. There are a lot of them in nasarawa state. They came same way governor sule's father came to dwell there. The people of nasarawa used to be very hospitable. But their kindness was upturned by fulanis who settled there and were unleashing mayhem on them, taking over their lands, killing their men and raping their woman. This victory was made possible by the indigenous people of nasarawa state. The pdp guy went and met with the labour party candidate and pleaded with him to step down for him, so they could take back their destiny which had been hijacked from them by foreigners according to my friend who hails from the state and he stepped down for him. He asked all the LP supporters in the state to back the pdp candidate. He even defeated Sule in his town and LGA. That's what unity can do. Congrats to them |
Soccer is fast becoming relevant in the US lately ![]() |
garfield1:I wasn't interested in other states than nasarawa and KD from day one. I wasn't on ground in the states but I had friends there, who cried foul. I also listened to the leading candidates in those states when they came in channels tv with glaring evidence, confirming what my friends had said in those sates. Good luck to the disgruntled camps. The appeal ans supreme courts are there for them to try their luck |
ImmaculateJOE:This is very clear. Even if there's another court above supreme court, sule won't win. I was interested only in kaduna and nasarawa election tribunal judgements cos the electoral fraud was wide open in those states. Luckily for him, tribunal upheld the apc's victory in kd. When the LP openly said he'd step-down for the PDP guy.I knew sule would not find it easy. Let him try his luck up to the supreme court, its his right to do so |
I'm not surprised. Like I've said many times, sule slapped the pdp guy in the face. He'd win again and again, even up.to the supreme Court, should sule challenge this win. You can imagine the LP candidate joining hands with the PDP guy to defeat Sule. Sadly, this guy called sule had always claimed to have lived in the western world for many years yet, he took nothing sensible back home. I don't know the cause of the black man's leadership problem. Only Kayode Fayemi did i respect out of them all, who openly accepted defeat and called it the will of the ekiti people. I wish he became much more relevant in the Nigerian political future. He'd be a good leader. Even till now, he still earns my respect. The kaduna pdp man shouldn't lose hope yet. He's another candidate who was openly cheated. The power of incumbency planned a political coup against him. |
I didn't employ 2 applicants cos they pierced their ears. The moment i saw the tiny spots, i changed my mind. It's sheer irresponsibility |
Obviously, the building looks very old, so does the balcony. There are several of them in Europe. It's risky to even stand on the balcony of high-rise buildings in Europe cos the majority of them are over 100 years old. |
Alakayi:I knew they'd say this, especially when their expectations couldn't be met. I pity those listening to these liars during campaigns. Nigerians are yet to learn from their tricks and lies, which are the baits used in catching them ![]() |
Nwodosis:No, Tinubu attended CSU. I've known this long before now. I schooled in America too. The issue here is his real age. That will be a major blow. It's called perjury. Nigeria isn't lagos, where he'd do some things and get away with it. Atiku himself may be guilty of this. Plenty drama ahead |
designking:That age gaaan is what I'm interested in. I know he's in his 80s and not 71. That alone is a criminal offence. It's called perjury and CSU can even sue him for that, apart from the judiciary doing the right thing back home |
Web2020:Similar to a proverb in yoruba. Leave those defending tinubu alone. They'd learn by force what integrity means. Tinubu isn't born to Tinubu's family. He's from osun state from same iragbiji town where former governor oyetola who was former director of Tinubu's company halls from. Alhaja habibat mogaji( may God rest her soul) was the one who adopted him and named him tinubu. He came to lagos with his mum to buy things she was selling and mama took him and told his mum she'd take care of him. Adoption isn't a sin really. Lying is a serious offence. Tinubu never attended children home school in ibadan. He's 80 years plus, not 71 as he's claiming. I guess the reason he's trying to block the CSU certificate is his age, which will be clearly stated on it |
GeneralPula:The main reason I feel he's attempting to block the release of his paali is his age. We will know his actual age , against what he tendered to INEC and you know what that means....? perjury it is. Its a serious criminal offence. The majority of our leaders are guilty of this, including obasanjo and buhari but they were never caught. Ebora owu is well older than soyinka. Shoyinka is now 89 while obj is claiming a lower age . Shoyinka and obj attended same secondary school so, he knew obj too well and that's why Prof always challenges his age.I wish him good luck ![]() |
EKONGKING:Maybe you're one of those fools as the bible has put it, who never believed in the power of God. As a medic, I do advise people to go for IVF but that doesn't mean God doesn't still do wonders. My elder brothers are twins. My mum waited for years before she birthed them. They're in their 50s now. In early 70s, IVF never existed. My mum had another twins but none of them stayed. She birthed them by miracles, when CAC was still CAC. Sadly, this generation doesn't believe in God's divine power anymore. No wonder the world is now going awry. What a shame! God have mercy. I also shared a story earlier , go read it. |
maasoap:Did you read a part where they cited conception through IVF? I've seen couples who had waited for years. They tried the iVf but failed several times so they decided that they'd adopt. They were both fervent servants of God. They've forgotten anything childbearing after several times of failed IVF attempts and continued living their lives. One day, the woman took ill on returning from a vacation and went to the hospital. She was confirmed pregnant for weeks. I've shared the news here before. I know them very well. Apart from being my neighbours, they also seek medical advice from me. The day the birthday of the twins were celebrated in my street, it was like carnival. People came from far and near. The man is also a successful businessman so, it was a big event. The twins were a replica of their dad. DNA isn't needed, looking at them. I have elder brothers who are twins. I'm next to them. My mum waited for many years before she conceived. No IVF in the 70s. They're in their 50s now. My mum had twins twice. She's a fervent member of CAC IVF works , oh yes! But that doesn't mean those who had children at their later years went through IVF. Amazingly, iVF doesn't work for everyone. God still does wonders in His own time. |
seunmsg:So, Obi' supporters wey wan justice over their stolen votes would write court to jettison Tinubu's case? . |
Governments have no business in running business. It only happens in nigeria. Create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive but na lie. They mist look for a means of embezzling funds meant for developing their states |
richie240:Hmmm? The head of my technical unit is an igboman. He joined us since 2011. He's never stolen or defrauded my company. He's travelled to Europe several times for training and he didn't japa. I have lots and lots of igbos as friends, who are loyal to me, likewise hausas, bini, itsekiri. Urhobo, etc. If I tell you this, would you believe? My fellow yorubas are the ones who stole from me. They betrayed me too. Every tribe has their peculiarities. I hardly voted any yorubaman as president since 1999, i voted chief falae, even though I knew he'd not win. I think obasanjo too, in his 2nd term bid cos i saw what he did in his first rerm in office. It beat my imaginations. There are people of substance in Yorubaland who could have performed excellently as president but tinubu didn't give them a chance. I'm lagosian by birth and origin. My mum is lagosian, likewise my granddad. I knew when tinubu was governor and what he did when in office. You can't compare his achievements with that of fashola. I know you'd say Fashola was Tinubu’s candidate but the former didn't act like a stooge to him as governor and that's why he did so well, which almost cost him his 2nd term. Ambode is another amazing man. Shebi Fashola was still giving tinubu and his allies some little considerations, Ambode cut him off completely and that's why he was able to do so much with lagos money and his administration declared budget surplus for the first time since jakande ruled lagos in the 80s. These are the presidential materials. We have their likes in every tribe across the nation. Just look at Tinubu’s controversial antecedents. I'm so ashamed. Shame on those defending him on social media too. If Pa Awo, Pa Abraham Adesanya, Pa Ajasin, baba Jakande, etc should be given the opportunity to see what's happening to Nigeria's president at the moment, for just a minute, they'd feel so disappointed. See the way other tribes are mocking us. Let's call a spade a spade. Obj is yoruba and ibos voted him 2 times. Are you also aware the majority of ibos voted MKO too? They dumped their brother who also ran as president that time. MKO recorded the highest votes in the entire South East. Check it. Only those who are blinded by history would think igbos are yorubas' or Nigerians' enemies. If not for igbo, awolowo would have been killed in prison like others. |
richie240:Isn't obidient a movement? I said the moniker shouldn't mind those calling obidients ipob. It's a movement across Nigeria |
Praxis758:Don't mind them |
AskNgige2:No, I was referring to Ododo. Igala people had openly rejected him. How can you, an ebiraman present another ebiraman to succeed you in a state with 3 major tribes...where your tribe isn't even on the majority side? I think bello is planning to hide something but he's gonna fail, my opinion |
AskNgige2:Isn't Ododo an ebira man? I know he's nether an igala nor okun man. |
Proudlyomonna:Yes, there's money 100% but you need a starting capital. Who would give you that? That was what I did oo. Today, all I can say is thank God. |
Proudlyomonna:Strongest kęę? Have you not heard that the Bartle isn't for the strong? May the smartest survive ni oo If you have money as a youth who's still single, don't waste your time hoping on this hopeless government. Don't buy that car with the money, just look for a way to japa, but with sense. My 50 cents. |
