Good to know. Dear apc and pdp supporters, where is that bloc vote coming from the North which you're still expecting? Let me burst your bubbles... NNPP, APC and PDP are sharing the so called bloc votes this time ftom the cote north as seen so far and its in the favour of Obi. Only Obi had secured 2 major zones already in this election with wide margins...the SE and SS in the bag. In most places, pdp and apc recorded zero votes in those regions. Only Obi is also seen doing well in the middle belt right now, already winning Plateau and Abuja. He's projected to also win Benue. In Taraba, it's been good news , Kaduna and Nasarawa too. He's doing well in some parts of gombe and bauchi states. So far, only Obi is leading steadily. Lagos is there which I don't want to comment on at this point, until after the elections had been concluded later today in some volatile areas. |
vicdom:Uns don start again. Please rest at this point |

ozo13:You didn't seem to understand me. I said the bloc votes would be shared. I'm not talking about who wins which states in those regions....they'd share those bloc votes instead of giving it to one person as seen in baba's case in 2015 and 2019. |

yinkus6750:Nothing will be difficult. Obi has won this election. Their magic wands were vote buying and rigging . Buhari had burst their bubbles in both areas by redesigning naira and introducing bvas. Kudos to him |
olgaa14:Lol. No bloc votes for the pdp and apc from the North this time. Kwakwanso sef follow share |

SadiqBabaSani:Remember, we no dey give shishi. Even in rivers where they shared money to voters, obi still won. Nigeria has spoken. Period |
JagabanBorgu:Look at the south east and south south results in this elecrion for NA...then come back here and tell me what you saw. Mind you, I never said LP would be the majority at NA, I said mixed assembly My English was simple enough |
Even without him. Obi has gotten this one. Can't you see what's happening in the north? Atiku, Tinubu and kwakwanso are sharing the votes in those regions, core north precisely. Obi took the entire south east and south south with wide margins, others don't do well in their single region this way. he's doing pretty well in the north central. He's leading in 3 regions steadily while others are struggling in one and half regions. Obi is also doing well in Taraba and kaduna. With that alone, you don't need anyone to tell you who the winner is. Obi is steadily dragging lagos with Tinubu as well, lest I forget. 😃 |
PDP, lol. Obi really tried in this election. Kudos to him. We shall have a mixed assembly this time, Good for our democracy. No particular party or region will now have it all, when it comes to topical issues and issues of national interests anymore just by merely saying hais or nays. Everyone would've to lobby seriously. The NA can include any clause that could either make us remain as a country or everyone goes and this will be successfully done through lobby. In as much as this scenario wouldn't mean we will break up, it only means every everybody would now sit tight and stay focused. No born to rule mentality anymore in Nigeria. Nigeria must get to work now! The ruling class is going to be retired perpetually after this election. Anyone can come out and vy for any position or office if he or she merits it. Aunty Ireti just won abuja senatorial seat under labour. That's what we're saying. God bless Nigeria. |
Lelelalalele:We don't vote along ethnic or religious lines. Only core north are the most tribalistic in Nigeria and they're not hiding it. I pity our people hobnobbing with them during every general elections. They're about 13 in number . Jonathan victory in 2011 was a proof that no leading presidential candidate from the south needs their votes to win. See how they're dribbling tinubu in this election. If you ask me, i don't think igbos too are tribalists. They've voted obasanjo twice. They also voted atiku in 2019. I think the reason they didn't vote buhari was his role in the Biafra war not because he's a Muslim. Buhari himself knows they don't like him. They'd have voted Osinbajo, had Tinubu not come out to run. My igbo trusted friends told me so. Tinubu had some unfriendly history with them too. I remember the lagoon statement by oba akiolu in 2019. Tinubu didn't come out to condemn what the oba said. These are my opinion shaa |
Supported. They should do same in rivers. Its called daylight robbery. Kogi will get it right someday |
fiizznation:This election is for him, no doubt. Obi is a man. Like I said a few days back, we will be having a mixed assembly this time, where no particular party will be dominating on hais and nays all the time in issues of national interest. This is good for democracy. LP also won senate seats massively in the south south and south east. We're still awaiting the Noeth central votes, we will still pick more NA vote wins. PDP will die naturally in the south after this election. Only in the core north will they hood sway. |
amliftedhigher:How LP penetrated Gombe , Nasarawa and Adamawa is still a great surprise. We're not seeing that same scenario in the south of the PDP. Only apc is giving LP a fight. |
Beremx:Obi won Rivers, including wike pu. Don't listen to fake news |
These are the things our southern politicians should come to terms with. Not about the nonsense hobnobs with them. We're wiser now. I voted obi not because I hated tinubu. I only picked someone I believed would gather more votes and return power to the south and we can see that happening already. Politics is a game of numbers and core North who believes they're more populated would always vote along sentiment lines( religious and tribal combined). That should sink in every sojourner's mind. We need to come always together and fight for what belongs to us. It's all about interest, not by fighting. It would be an insult for another northern candidate to replace buhari. Its also an insult to us as a region to see normal people vote another northern candidate for whatever reason. |
Set awon omo leyin El-rufai |
CutieKing:They are diehard supporters of any muslim candidate. No matter how good you are as a Christian to them, they would not vote you. The antecedents have shown. See the south giving atiku some consolation votes. They will never do such. As long as religious sentiments hold sway in the core north, they will continue to remain backward. Jonathan got his winning votes mainly from the south and middle belt. I hope the new generation would learn from this. |
Felabrity:Thanks for sharing this Barrister. How is nasarawa? A better Nigeria is POssible. |
aljharem: . Try next time ok? Just present a credible candidate like Fahola or osinbajo...or even Akinwunmi Adeshina...they have manners, A maa dibo fun won. A better Nigeria is all we crave, not tribal sentiments. We need to start shopping for a better leader from among us from now on. We have suffered too much in the hands of the likes of tinubu in lagos. RIP to our uncle, Pa Jakande. |
femisplash:Obi has won Rivers , rest. Tinubu may get 25%. Ko baje rara. That's democracy for you |
aljharem:She o wa alright sha? |
flowmama:Urchins won't like this. They always think adamawa will all go to the PDP. Any opportunity to mock LP no far from dem |
uchman:No. The mistake made by a lot of people is that, anywhere LP wins , Igbos are dominating there...its not true. No sane yoruba will vote tinubu in Lagos. I did not vote him, I voted Obi. Falz and co also live on the island. There are learned people in Lagos who would not make noise on whom to vote. They are called silent killers |
