I would not advice you to settle for any of these korean, chineese or indian cars. They are not worth nothing. Toyota's, mitsubishi's, NISSAN, VW's make good quality, high perfoming reasonably priced cars.

The Japs and the Germans are your best bet. Their salvage value is always on the high side even after 3 - 4 years. The camry's, accords, jetta's, Bora's, Lancers are pretty dependable cars and have good performances. Ask for the issue of armed robbers, thats why you have insurance. I hope the day they take my car they should not just kill me. I'll hand over the keys, particulars and even give them money for fuel.

Don't go near a kia, hyundai, no octavia _{(suprisingly crappy cars)}, or those chinese and indian coffin boxes.

i see this post is becoming people fighting to defend their respective opinions, but i think it shouldnt be so.
We should rather seek to edify one another, and personally, i've learnt a lot from what i read here (be it pros or cons posts) and i come to the conclusion that as one said earlier, paying your tithe is more about obedience to God than anything else.
The Bible says that obedience is better than sacrifice.

God is not so much interested in what you give as he is in you obeying his Word. He wants to see his child doing what he asked him to.

Now the Bible also says
"BUT HE WHO DOUBTS IS CONDEMNED IF HE EATS, BECAUSE HE DOES NOT EAT FROM FAITH; FOR WHATEVER IS NOT FROM FAITH IS SIN" (Romans 14:23)
If you pay your tithe because you are told to do so or just to fulfill all righteousness, it can be a good beginning, but God doesnt take pleasure in it, because you don't do it out of faith. Don't forget, "Without faith it is impossible to please God."(Hebrews 11:6) So pay your tithe only out of conviction, ask God to give you that conviction, don't bring condemnation upon yourself.

God wants order to reign in His house Let all things be done decently and in order. 1Corinthians14:40 The commandment is for the church, but it is clear that we should take it to ourselves, because WE are the Church. Let's try and take God more seriously. Just as you can't afford not to pay your taxes, decide that you can't afford not to pay your tithe. How can you pay more respect to a creature than to the creator??
The race is difficult, Jesus doesnt promise a smooth path, but he promises to get us to the goal. His Grace is sufficient for us.
I wonder why we even worry about debtors, because "When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him (Proverbs 16:7) So whatever financial difficulties you find yourself into, your own is just to be blameless before your God, he will never abandon you.
Difficult or even unthinkable doesnt mean impossible so let's not always try to explain things with our intelligence, but to lean on the Word of God at all times. We can't understand everything, we're only human beings,

You owe me money, I didnt get the money from God, I work a 9 - 5 job to make my money. You have an urgent need, and I loan you some money. You go out of your problem and made some money too, instead of paying off your bills, you go pay your tithe?? Does that sound right??
Or you owe so much bills, Credit card bills, mortgages, insurance premuim, car deposit, kids school fees, medical bills (you name it), and you make a few bucks and instead of paying off your bills you go hand it over to your pastor in the name of tithe or seed faith?? WTF is this i'm hearing?? Does this make any sense?? Faith my ass.

Oboy, I do not even believe in this tithe thing sef!! lets get real, you put your offerings every sunday, yet they want you to still fork out 10% of your earnings and hand over to them, while making pledges and planting seed faiths backed by your widows mite. Not forgeting the government is waiting for you on the outside with taxes, the banks with credit card bills and mortgages. Isn't it much safer that you pay your rent 6months to two years in advance and not be bothered by the landlord than have the landlord come knocking on your door every 30days like a trift collector and hassling you??
If a landlord has to collect rent every month, that means your contract with him on the house is only valid for 30days and is subject to review at the expiration of set date. Imagine you paid 10,000Naira last month, this month NLC and NUPENG go on strike, fuel scarcity, price of comodity goes up, what do you think will happen to next months rent?? You think say landlord go think am two times before ehn kick you commot from house??
I love this advance payment system, cos it gives you rest of mind and ample time to plan ahead of you and prepare yourself for the next period of rent, also reduces the headache of thinking about money for rent every month. Especially civil servants wey government can owe them salary for months without show. It also helps you to eveluate the convineince of the property and establish if you like it or you would love to move to a new location at the end of the rent.
Those of you who have had to live in a hotel for a long period of time would appreciate this advance payment system. Imagine the receptionist calling you a 7.00a.m and reminding you that if you plan on staying further you had better come pay your bills now or check out time is at 12.00p.m.
