Clement Westerhoff is still the king of Nigerian football as far as managing the team is concerned. He built his team from locally manufactured boys. And watched his boys grow into men. How come ever since his crop of players exited the national team we are yet to assemble another 11 that can send jitters down the spine of an opposing team. His technical management of the team was impeccable. When he analyses Nigerian football on supers sports, it's like listening to someone read from the manual of how the super eagles should function. How many people today would play a Yekini Rashidi on the pitch. Looking at him by sight, he was nothing to write home about. Till today, we are yet to replace the following player in the national team Sunday Oliseh, Finidi George, Emmanuel Amunike, Daniel Amokachi, Samson Siasia, Tijani Babangida, just to name a few. The super eagles I grew up knowing is no more. two nil over south Africa and we want to declare public holiday, what happened to them in Ghana. I still regret going to the staduim to see that match. If westerhoff wants to return to the team, I'll say only in an advisory capacity and not team handler. We need to find some new exceptional players again. What baffles me is that our junior teams are doing way better than the senior team, why?? Is it that the boys expire even before they reach the senior team or what? |
This thread survived three pages?? I guess N'landers really do love stories that touch. |
Uche2nna:I'm a true fan, and thats what we do, BET. I went all out for that match. And more over, I didnt see whyy we could'nt pound Chelsea, afterall we whipped Arsenal which I consider a far better team than chelsea. |
I hope say this truth will set me free and not throw me into more captivity. |
Make Seun first agree to the terms, because I get plenty confessions to make. If to say I.d for Nairaland dey come with I.D card, my fake I.D's for don reach , ![]() |

Xiomarra:Ehn Ehn! o, stop abusing us. If not that I am mercying for you, I would have shown you pepper. |
@ Topic Hw can I forget the day the Lion fell. When those confused fools Chealsea Knocked the kopites LIVERPOOL out of the champions league. I cried like a baby, not only for my club but for the 30,000k I lost. what a tragedy |
MallamMusa:It's obvious that your thread has lost steam and you are just trying to draw attention by fueling tribal conflict. I for one couldnt careless wether it is igbos, or hausa or yoruba's pushing the drugs, the money they are making does not have ethinicity. If it were Igbos sef, I'll track them down and give them better ideas of how to better their trade. Drug money is better than blood money. So hate on the Igbos all you want, but the truth is they cant be stopped cos they are on a higher plane than your little brain can comprehend. Blatant:May God punish anybody that trys to take away bread from another mans table. |
Frankies in Osu is gaddam expensive, about $100 a night now. The entire town hiked the prices of hotels since the nations cup. The place is cool though but their food aint worth crap. If you must spend money on a hotel, find good one especially on broad street. Cape Coast is cool. loads of slave things but thats it. No night life, nothing. Tema is the bomb. The people are nice, but be careful cos they'll milk you dry with a smile on their face. And dont be decieved by the smiles, cos they dont really like Nigerians. |
@ Ladies See as most of una dey para?? Ordinary ashewo na ehn una don already divorce, castrate, kill, e.t.c. Is ashewo not better the keeping a mistress outside?? |
MallamMusa:May suya pepper enter the hole in your penis. Chineke su kwa gi O'ku. Anumani. Their entire family tree is of hausa decent. Afterall yoruba and hausa no difference. Mumu cattle rearer like you. |
cescky:I am not justifying it o! I'm just saying if your reason for reporting them is because they are spoiling the already decayed name "NIGERIA", which is neither your surname nor is it your first name then you are just a bloody hypocrite. When the oyinbo's were coming here and exporting blacks for sale abroad they were not spoiling their name BRITAIN, PORTUGAL, BELGUIM, FRANCE, e.t.c. See, dont use because of bad belle and spoil another mans market o! God will not forgive you. They taught us all these bad things, so let them reap the benefits. No harm, no foul. As e no concern you, mind your business. |
Now you have made me ashamed (not shy). |
toyinrayo:I'm sorry o! I was only playing |
toyinrayo:why are you laughing? I think your head is not correct. |
I can smell the odour of his perfume |
tosinadeda:I dont blame you You dont have respect again Thats why you are chewing chin gum in front of your senior. |
why have you choosen to study in the UK? The United states have already denied me visa twice, I've written and failed JAMB twice, ASUU is still on strike, NEPA, traffic, armed robbers, cultists, e.t.c so I'm trying my luck here. Why did you choose this institution? It was cheap and my uncle lives in that city. How did you find out about it? My uncle told me about it. Why did you select this course.? I didnt o! My uncle was the one who filled the form. I only saw the admission letter. When this course is finished do you plan to undertake another course in the UK. Please give details? Yes O! Masters. Why do you think this course would be of benefit to you? How would I know? If I see employment in a good company, then yes. What do you hope to do when you finish your studies in the UK? Remain there O! What am I looking for in Nigeria. |
