Dear OP, some women are susceptible to itch in the vaginal and hence the need for anti fungal cream. She ought to have carried you along in the procurement as per her better half. You know your wife better but anti fungal cream shouldn't be a reason to think infidelity. My hubby was away when I procured an anti-fungal cream and he encouraged me to buy it. Whereas it's a recommended first aid my mum told me a woman must have even during my celibacy days as a spinster, I always had one steady. |
Dear OP, your concerns are valid but there's also economic realities. How secure is your job in the long run let alone the short run? I'm in a distant marriage (Lagos and Benin.....few days old) and have never visited my hubby from my courting days. We've had issues about who should relocate, visit..... I hope you work things out as it's just for a short time I'm sure. Selah. |

All those saying align with family, I reserve my comments. My landlord died today, he's an igbo man married to an igbo woman for over 10 years. His family neglected him after the wife's plea for help from his people but they're here to mourn and plan burial... Dear OP, what's the guarantee that marriage to an igbo woman will give you fulfilment in life? As for your parents, I've grown to see that African parents go to church to socialize and mark register. The WORD itself, they don't know how to balance with life but will only tell you of bad experiences and never saying the good. If you try to convince them, they'll tell you you know nothing and I begin to wonder the essence of them claiming christianity. I can go on and on and on. I hope you have financial independence incase you choose to follow your heart but regardless all will be well. |
Dear OP, when is the church wedding prior to you putting it on hold? |
GreatResearcher:Marriage is also a dream for some guys. |
Dear OP, sorry about your predicament. I have controlling parents like yours but I don't live with them. Whenever you want to make a decision about your life, tell noone. Only seek professional advice so as to make an informed decision. I was held back at some points in my life by my family, eventually I took my decision on a critical issue, messaged my parents of my actions after the deed has been done as there was no going back. I hope you become financially independent soon so as to be off their grip. You also need to be focused on something or build expertise in something as someone said earlier. All the best in your endeavours. |
[quote author=Mrcashman87 post=83401594]Lol thanks bro , yes I'm very romantic and always satisfying her . I make sure that I sastify her multiple times before I get satisfied. the problem is , she just wont have sex with me. It's been 10 months now no sex , this year we havnt had sex. Last time was 19 December 2018 I'm not trying to cheat on my wife but the empty hole in our marriage is ruining my life because I'm so unhappy. I reported her to her parents and requested for a urgent family meeting this Sunday at our place. We shall see how everything will go. Hopefully she will realise her mistakes and give our marriage another chance if no I'm out. quote author=Bigboss111 post=83399614] Sorry about your experience sir. Please keep us posted as some are following with keen interest. |
softpee:I disagree with your 2nd point. Do you mean all ladies should cohabit with their intended spouse so as to ascertain their level of tidiness? Some of us will put up our best behaviour to clinch the prize which is the ring. |
Sambai65:Eku bachelor hood. |
Sambai65:I'm sure you're single sir. Kudos but give him steps on minimizing his expenditure. |
Plead:Having a good job, business.... is good but life happens. I know someone that was comfortable before she got married, the man refuses to be diligent for over 5 years of their marriage till date and she has gone down financially due to the irresponsible hubby and she doesn't want to separate because of societal.... |
henro4niger:Both parents fixed a date to meet and come to an agreement. You know your parents better, go and appease them. It's primarily your day and secondarily theirs. |
Dear OP, how was it possible to fix a wedding without carrying both families along simultaneously? My parents insisted that it must be in their church and my proposed inlaws wanted theirs and we came to an agreement but at a cost consequence to myself and my fiance. I think you got it all wrong from the beginning. Go and plead with your parents even if the bride's church does the joining most times. Pardon my curiosity but were your parents in support from the on set or you slammed the wedding on them ![]() |

ineedyouradvice:You're welcome Ma. It's good you opened up though. It is well dear. All the best. |
Dear OP, don't you think you over reacted? Allow him to come to terms with the whole situation and the societal consequences after which they'll come to accept it. Some people hold dear their perception in the eyes of people and tend to live their lives to be in the good books of people of which he may be that kind of person. Give him time and if he doesn't want to proceed, fine. I think it was too early to call people....... You're overwhelmed, likewise him. I don't think his age should be a deciding factor here as it boils down to his choice. If he were truly keen on having children, he would had a baby mama as they're easy to come by. Inasmuch as you both agreed earlier, call him and apologise and work things out. You still have more challenges and battles to conquer as an individual, would you always call it off and escalate without taking time to resolve between the conflicting party? Blissful pregnancy journey I wish you. |
