immortalcrown:What do you mean by "made it a public affair". It's her body we're talking about, not some family issues that can be hidden. She was fat and now, she's slimmer. Anyone that saw her before now can easily notice that. How can she possibly make that a hidden affair? |
GOTVee:Politics aside, putting a Christian picture on your profile, using the expression "born again Christian" as your signature and starting all your comments with "even though I'm a born again Christian" just to spite Christianity and promote Islam seems cool to you? Asides from the fact that it doesn't add any value to Islam or remove anything from Christianity, do you really believe Allah would be okay with such a dubious scheme? What you guys have turned religion to in Nigeria is just unbelievable. You go all the way to the wrong things to promote a God you say is a good God. How does that add up? |
cigaricon:Well, investment is investment and luxury is luxury. Saying luxury is an investment is misleading. However, if you can afford both luxury and investment, it's not sin. I mean, what's the point of investments if you can't afford what you consider as luxury at the end of the day? Wizkid never said he doesn't have investments. You're just seeing this watch because it's something worn on the body. You don't expect him to cover himself with his investment papers so you'd know he also has investments. Dangote might not buy this watch because it's not his own version of luxury, but we all saw a picture of him with a model in an expensive hotel showcasing his ass. We don't know how much he paid for the days he spent in that hotel and the high class escort he was with. We just can't tell know how much he spends on luxury. So before we go lecturing people on how to spend thier money, let's remember we didn't tell them how to make it. |
And boys are desperately looking for people to scam or use for rituals. |
Ogamysamo:Done! Ogamysamo:Also notice that punctuation in French is slightly different from that of English. |
Zonefree:Oga, this thread is about Qatar and football, you guys should get your heads off the ass of women. You complain about girls, yet morning, afternoon and night, you're talking about them. Isn't that some kind of obsession? Do you even realize the amount of control you give to them when all you complain is them despite the biting economic recession and other issues facing us. Get busy with your life and stop this childish exhibitions. |
nazicartel:I feel your pain from reading this text. But the truth is, everyone is looking for ways to make money off others. Traders are constantly scheming to cheat thier clients, our boys are scamming people like crazy, our men are into money rituals, our politicians are embezzling funds as if it's thier birth rights, our male friends that aren't as financially stable as we are now bill us too, our girls now embrace prostitution, our boys are now looking for sugar mommies up and down, etc. The girls you speak about are not exceptions. They're part of a system, and they're exploiting the channel available to them. Given the kind of things boys do to make money these days, you think they'd think twice before going for the highest bidders if they had vaginas? These girls you speak about beg with confidence cause they feel needed. But the keyword there is "beg". This means you have the opportunity to grant thier request or decline (unlike the cases of scammers). Cursing the entire female gender online like that guy did above makes you come off as frustrated, bitter and misogynistic. Girls are not likely to read the complaints you write on Nairaland and decide to change, but when you stay away from a girl that bills you too much, she'll either adjust or go for good. Whichever way, it'll be a win for you. I guess the grand question is, are you after these girls cause you're looking for something serious or you just want to get your own share of what is in their pants? If it's the later, then be ready to do business. |
Nvestor02:My dear, the way Nigerians boast about breaking rules would make you think being lawless is a recipe for a great economy. Lol |
They'll pay you $25k and you'll buy a house of $21k? Let them give you the house and balance you your $4k nah. Lol |
Ogamysamo:Hi there! Of course, I remember you. Lol. How have you been, sir? Yeah, there are a few mistakes but I understood you perfectly well. I could correct them if you want me to. |
It all starts at home. This is the result of the "boys will always be boys" mindset born out of gender bias. Every minute of the day, we're discussing how the girl child walks, how she dresses, how she talks to people, whom she's talking to, if she can cook, if she's humble and respectful, if she's a slay queen/gold digger, whether she's a virgin or not, etc. We say "women of nowadays" as of women are the only ones changing. We always call out Nigerian girls as if the men are saints. Someone created a thread yesterday after consuming Nigerian porn to lament about how our girls have all gone bad. Mind you, it was a heterosexual porn, which means there were boys there too, but he couldn't care less about them. On the other hand, we let do boy child do whatever. We see boys engaging in all sorts of promiscuity and we say "sharp guy... lol". Teenagers come here to type unprintable things about the opposite gender and surprisingly, the adults that should be correcting them join them to say these things. When someone tries to point this out, we call them bitter feminists. We feel holding boys/men as accountable as we hold the opposite gender will limit the freedom they enjoy in society. What we failed to realize is that we were creating a mindset that could easily trickle down to the younger ones. One gender can never bear the burden of maintaining morality in society alone. No matter how much you try to raise a decent girl, you'll still throw her into the same society as the boys you ignored. We only end up raise girls that believe they're just there to cater for the needs of men and boys that believe women are just they for them to consume. Now, the hen has come home to roost. The beast we created is getting ready to devour us. Everyone's is feeling the hit. Rape cases everywhere, children doing all sorts of things, etc. Our daughters are no longer safe. And we're crying foul. Perhaps, it's time to go back to drawing board and question our standards. |
HilcomTech:Or maybe they always do that so that others will have enough time to think of thier responses to the questions. |
LP VP candidate sounds smart and confident. But he needs to be more active in the campaign. |
Pickmycall:And what's wrong with Buga won or his other tracks? Would India's Nora Fatehi have impressed you more than your own Chris Daniel? Even without opening the thread, I already knew Nairalanders would start trask-talking local artists. You guys always look down on your own. People of different cultural backgrounds perform at such events. The goal is not just to impress a specific group but to promote cultural diversity and create awareness. If Chris had gone there, he would have done just fine. I don't know why Nigerians only appreciate thier artist when the white man says they're good. It's time y'all stopped viewing yourselves through the eyes of foreigners and learn to appreciate what you've got. |
Canada or Ghana. |

Thinkam:OK... how does that relate to my comment you quoted? |
Sparrk007:The fruits they import from South America and Africa are relatively expensive there too. It's normal. |
I'm not a fan of Tinubu but this right here is hilarious. Tinubu is a Muslim, his vice a Muslim, but these are guys are not satisfied. It is his children they're now after? What do they even mean by "he could not bring his children to his religion and, therefore, cannot lead us". Is the duty of the president winning souls for his religion? No matter how many railways or skyscrapers built in a country, the most important development is mindset development. |
This guy depends and fights for Tinubu more than his principal. |
Munamoqel:Lol... MSc is just one extra degree. It can hardly be described as "piling up". But to answer your question, they're not "piling up" degrees because they believe they don't need it. And before you come for Nigerians, bear in mind that most of the Nigerians on that list didn't get the degree because they felt they needed it. Rather, they got it as an exit route from Nigeria. |
advanceDNA:It's business and as such, both the vendor (the UK) and the client (Nigerian students) benefit from the transaction. |
This is long established. |
sambankey:Wow... this sentence is so difficult to read. Lol. |
In Nigeria maybe. Otherwise, your annual rent could be more than 30% of your annual salary out there where you pay about $2k monthly for a room self contain. |
That's nice. |
Wow! This the lady I respect the most in the history of American politics. |
When this redesign was first announced, many people shouted "misplacement of priority! A dog in suite is still a dog! Useless country!" Today, the same people are saying "Naira redesign has come to stay! January 31 is sacrosanct!" Lmao... Nigerians are funny. |
He gifted them. It's not everything you call empowerment. Lol. |
Nice... but he should rather say "we're done". |
A similar thread was created here last year (or earlier this year). A lady claimed her ex kidnapped thier son and Nairaland people attacked her for calling it "kidnap" when the guy is clearly the father. They said he just took his son. Surprisingly, the same Nairaland people seem to agree with the OP on this one. Lol... this life no balance. |

Even though I'm a born again Christian, this policy is targeted at those Anambra criminals using drug money to finance labour party noise all over the country. Their labour is finally in vain. God bless the federal government and our Muslim brothers and sisters
