Yes, he was. I guess that's what you want to hear. |
Creator fund, no. But you can get paid by brands if your fan base is big enough and/or if you've got enough viewership. Here are the conditions to get access to the creator fund: 1) You must be 18. 2) Creators need to be based in the US, UK, Germany, Spain or Italy. 3) Have at least 10,000 followers. 4) Your videos need to have 100,000 views within the last 30 days. 5) You follow TikTik Community Guidelines and terms of service. However, do not worry, TikTok said more countries will be added. Also, it appears populous countries have higher priority. So once it gets to Africa, Nigeria will surely be one of the first countries to get it. |
You people should stop abusing blogging in Nigeria. This was when she lost her husband and her brother to cancer. She has long regained her weight. Why pick up an old picture just to create content? Of everything happening in the world, how can you not have something to write about? |
PlayMaker14:I'm sure you would if you could. ![]() |
PlayMaker14:Lol... Of course, you'd like it because you were not verified. People would do anything to pull others down to their level. |
BrutusOj:They could, but they don’t need to do that before they're considered good. That's my point. They're not obliged to do that. I like good lyrics too. I helps my imagination while listening to a song. Simply put, I connect better when listening to Micheal Jackson than when listening to Davido. But that's me and it doesn't make me better than anyone. Davido has great beats and for many people, that's essentially enough. He can keep selling his beats to those that like it while I search for my lyrics somewhere else. You're not a musician cause it's not your thing. Likewise, they place beats over lyrics cause lyrics is not thier thing. That said, except the words are really dirty, anybody that sees you as not being at par simply because you're listening to a song that is not lyrically rich does not understand art. Music does not even needs words to be good. Lyrics are secondary to music. By definition, music is an organized sound. When mixed with words, it becomes a song. We all listen to music for different reasons; a dancer, for example, only needs a good beat. Some Cisquo's songs had the worst lyrics of all time, but he was one of the most successful black musicians of his time. |
Music is an art. Generally speaking, different aspects of music appeal to different people. For some, it's the lyrics and for others, the beats. None is essentially superior to the other. Many people hear the beat before the lyrics, and that's OK. Our preferences don't necessarily make us better than anyone. Besides, expecting consistency here undermines the nature of art. Just do you. |
Soon, people will get tired of this his go-to line for everything. He wanted to buy Twitter cause they're trying to destroy free speech in the US. Then he didn't want to buy it anymore cause they're trying to destroy free speech in the US. Then he later went on to buy it cause they're trying to destroy free speech in the US. And now he's sacked his employees cause they're trying to destroy free speech in the US. The earlier y'all realise he's not an activist but just a business man who knows just what to say to get what he wants, the better for y'all. |
We love it when our people do well in the politics/military ranks of other countries, but we don't have room for outsiders to join ours because we fear they'd take over. |
KingOfTheDamned:You guys don't have a limit. Even when a man commits crime, you'd still find a way to blame a woman. It's always women, women, women. The fact that you're not joking show the strange way you guts process things. Do you know how many times we've sons that killed thier fathers in Anambra? Or fathers that slept with their daughters in Ogun? And then you read this sad story, and all you could think of is how to blame women. You, you were raised by both parents and this is the way you tired out? Lol... nawa o. |
Russia be holding the world hostage. Every small thing, nuclear. Self acclaimed world power whose only influence is war/military force. |
The few surviving ones. Please, don't reveal thier locations. |
Lmao... pray you have the kind money/success that confuses poor people like this. |
There are many dead people around her, and many more are dying in the hospitals nearby, why does her god need Davido's son to show his power? Is he bargaining for a promo deal with the celeb? Or maybe he recognizes wealth just like mere mortals? Biko, you guys should stop trying to score points with someone else's misfortune. |
. |
Slurity:That's why I said "generally". |
Slurity:The thought of taking one's own life requires some level of intelligence to interpret the implication as a solution to one's issues. Kids of that age generally don't have thr capacity to process such thoughts yet. |
olisaEze:There's VOA Hausa just like there's BBC Hausa. I asked if this is VOA Hausa cause the host in the picture is black man in a Northern attire. |
This is VOA Housa, right? So it's primarily for those that understand the language. |
Accidents happen. |
Cypress042:I think the right expression is "a child that will drown will drown". No child wants to drown. benalvino3:I was only correcting his expression and that doesn't suggest I agree with them. But thinking about it now, that expression doesn't necessarily mean people should be careless. It simply means "accidents happen". It is an applied version of the saying "what will be will be" which doesn't mean you shouldn't work hard to take control of an outcome but simply means you can only do your best. We can't possibly say for sure the kid wasn't properly taken care of just because he happened to be a victim of this unfortunate event. The most protected kids still get into accidents. It only takes a second or two. Even with adults around, a kid could hit a glass door while running around and injure themself. It could happen just when you decide look down and tie your shoelaces. Can you think of sometime time in the past when a kid fell of the edge of the bed while playing? It's more or less the same. The difference is the intensity of the accident. When it hasn't happened to us before, we believe it could never happen and we authoritatively criticize others. But the truth is que sera sera. PS: Don't call people "stupid" just to make a point. |
What kind of headline is this? Of everything that happened, you'd rather focus on the penis of the dead man? This sounds more like you trying to validate yourself by calling another man's penis tiny. |
When we say heating children should be criminalized, it's not because we want to take away your right to discipline your kids. It is because it leaves children at the mercy of adults with anger issues and other behavioral problems. Most of the time, parents hit thier kids out of anger and not necessarily to discipline them. This is regardless of whether the parent is right or wrong. It's almost as if they can do just about anything, and everyone would look the other way because it's thier kid. If we must flog, let it be only trained disciplinarians in schools who do that. And if that's not achievable, let there be laws against flogging on any other body part of the body apart from the palm and the buttocks We can't just be unleashing our anger on these kids just because we know we can do it and nothing will happen. That is domestic violence. It speaks more about the parent than the kid. People who hit thier kids like this would gladly attack others if it they could get away with that too. So like I said, it's not always a corrective measure, but a behavioral issue on the aggressor's part. And that's sad cause such force and violence at home doesn't necessarily make better kids. |
What was he expecting to see in a night club? Medical doctors? Mtchew. |
People hate people who are more famous or more successful. Therefore, the idea that this development would place a burden of cost on verified handles would be welcome and celebrated, and Elon would be hailed as "the great man". But let's not get carried and forget to ask the right questions. The verification functionality was introduced to tackle impersonation. At least, we can easily tell when a tweet is made by Atiku today. Besides this, people feel more comfortable conducting business with verified accounts. The question is, is the verification subscription open to anyone who can afford it? If so, what do we have in place for tackling the initial issue? And if it's not open to everyone, does that mean that when you're due to be verified, Twitter will invite you to subscribe? How will it work? |
What's up with secretariats? |
I recently lost $4000 and I decided not to ever think of it again. Just reading the title of this thread made me remember it. |
Cubalabloo:Why? People hardly get face to face with clients these days. I have never met many of my clients in person. Remember, she doesn't necessarily have to go to court. |
It's OK if your religion is against it. What doesn't make sense is forcing other people to abide by your religion. The gay people should be able to decide if they want to adhere to your religious beliefs or not. Christianity is against polygamy, yet it is not a crime in Nigeria because everyone can't be Christians. Fornication is not a crime even though Christianity is against it. Even adultery that could be considered a breach is also not a crime. So making homosexuality a crime is not about religion but simply a matter of intolerance. Funny thing is that more than 90% of those shouting "ride on baba!" are fornicators. The hypocrisy is just ridiculous. |
You guys just pick up a random picture and wind a story around it, and everyone starts reacting. |
