You guys and sex! I don't understand the kind of boys we have on this platform. Y'all always police the ladies; what they wear, how they talk, etc. Nobody's pays attention to the boys and the result is a group of males that just can't talk about sex for a minute. Nawa o By the way, OP, you wife's mother in-law is your mother. Maybe you'd have known that if your brain wasn't clouded already. |
Mariangeles:True |
This is too sad to watch. |
delpee:Wow! I didn't know that. Do you have a picture or a brand name I can look up? We should be exporting that to the US, and Canada. I figured these countries love products made from ingredients that aren't home grown. |
Hhmm... Not trying to defend Nigeria, there are many reasons for a Nigerian to be upset, but if your reason for disowning your country is because of what you heard from a foreigner, then it's sad. You've probably lived in Nigeria and you've known Nigeria all your life. You never saw or heard any reason to disown Nigeria. Then a foreign lady told you about your own country and you suddenly realized the country is not worth it? Is this really the case or are you saying this cause you're no longer in the country and, therefore, feel you can do away with her? If the later is the case, then it's even more pathetic cause you simply cannot cut ties with Nigeria. It's practically impossible as a first generation immigrant. Even those born in the US are still meant to understand they're immigrants. Various countries have thier own issues. Issues that only the people themselves can solve. Even those better off today had thier period of hard times. You're enjoying the results of other people's past struggles in the US. You're walking about freely as a black person cause some people found the courage to stand against power. If the citizens of some of these so-called saner climes had disowned thier countries during the periods of hardship, you wouldn't have had anywhere to run to today. If we all start disowning our own country cause of our own issues, who will solve it for us? How will things get better? You may be thinking, "I'm just an individual, what can I do?" Well, you can start by rejecting stereotypes instead of disowning your country because of them. Tell your foreigner friend that, even though we are battling corruption, we've got good and bad people just like the US. Remind her to treat people as individuals and not as a herd. By doing this, you've done a whole lot. Just a thought. |
When Covid-19 vaccines were rolled out, Africans asked why the virus was getting more attention than malaria that had killed more people. Now, we have a malaria vaccine and they're saying the white man wants to kill them. If you don't ship the vaccine to them, they'd say Africa has been forgotten. I'm just tired. Lol |
Africans will say WHO wants to kill all of them ![]() |
Nyascobar1414:The same can be said about all men. It's human nature. |
TopeQs:I guess the preservation and the packaging are the missing elements. To market it in the South (and even export it outside the country), it has to be well preserved so that it will last long enough. And it has to be packaged and labeled well enough to appeal to skeptics. |
Mariangeles:@bolded: come to think of it, all of us say "they" when referring to Nigerians and I guess that's why nothing is happening. It'll take someone to go out of thier way to produce, preserve, package and market the milk. The person and the farmers will become rich and consumers will be happy. I've not had the milk but I can already tell how awesome it would be. ![]() |
illicit:What of kunu nzaki? What is it made of? |
There's no difference between hookers and those those that pick them up. Y'all are in the same circle. So whatever you do to each other should be settled internally. |
I find it funny when Nigerians go about insulting Nigerian girls only to turn around and start seeking the same Nigerian girls abroad. OP, you want a friend with benefits and you're listing all these requirements? You think a lady that has all these in North America will go looking for your one bedroom ass to sleep with? You even described some sort of emotional connection and yet you call it FWB. You obviously need a girlfriend but do not have the courage to commit. Unfortunately, no lady with all these requirements will leave her rosy life to fix you. You're in Canada, everything you say you have is common. Many tech guys in Canada earn 6 figures. Many of them live in good apartments and even have their own cars. Canada is a country of immigrants, so many people speak multiple languages. French is an official language in Canada, so it ain't special. You don't really stand out in any way at all in Canada. You know that and that's why you ran to Nairaland where people might perceive you as rich. Unfortunately, the people you're trying to entice aren't "poor Nigerians" but NA resident's like you who know what's up. Snap out of your low self esteem, go out and meet people. |
Was this made by friends or enemies? |
Regardless of how they dress, the bad boys will still see what they want to see. A curvy lady can't hide her body even if she puts on traditional attires. |
Sorry, but I don't believe it. I live out here myself and I wouldn't leave such a job in Nigeria to come and live here when I've got enough money to enjoy both sides. |
MuslimIgbo:You don't know my ethnicity. The real bigotry is when you believe my political stance must align with my ethic background. It goes to show what informs your choices. Same old ax-and-tree story. Smh |
MrBrownJay1:Of course, no one expected wild animals to be compassionate. The person was only we shouldn't make jokes about it. |
Israeldan1:Lol... the ranting continues. |
Israeldan1:And yet you type like kid. Shame. |
Totilopussylick:@bolded, you guys are so creative. ![]() |
She writes better than many graduates on this platform. |
Aurielfinizu:Well, we can't really tell each person's role anymore. Our politicians are just like secret cult members and we're observing and speculating from the outside. |
GraceUnIimitedd:Well, that's a bold claim. I don't know if it was started just to favour him. That's very unlikely. I just believe it could have been ended a long time ago but they waited to use it for political points. The same people that will end it now were there when it started and they're going to do the same they could have done months ago. |
Love is beautiful and foolish, isn’t it? I don't ever regret things I do for love. Love is nothing to be ashamed of. Some people can't give love. Some people can't receive love. If it comes naturally to you to go out of your way for other people, it's something to be proud of. If they abuse it, the shame is on them. The moment you change because of another person's reaction is the moment to give them more power or priority than they deserve. Don't let people change the core of your personality. That's a control you should never give to anyone for a couple of reasons. First, people are so different. If you keep changing based on your bad experiences, you'd end up being a version of yourself that even you would detest. Unfortunately, only a few people change for better due to the occasional good experiences. Second, when you change because of a certain bad experience, you'd be the one to bear the consequences and not the individual. They move on with their lives while you stay back to become bad news to yourself and the people around you. Yes, be careful and wise but do not reduce your standards of loving. Seek people at your level of loving and give exactly what you want in return. It could go either ways but you'd be happy it didn't fail cause of you. When you get into a relationship with extreme alertness or all your guards up and your vulnerabilities well hidden, it becomes a source of stress rather than a source of comfort. Humans will always be humans. Just do your part with trust and you'll find your kind one day. Nobody said it would be easy. Love is a beautiful thing and as such, does not come easy. Etrange |
The same strategy used in the primaries. He might eventually step down and ask his supporters to support Tinubu. |
I don't think Tinubu depends on the electorate to win the election. He rather counts on his structure and financial capabilities to get him there. Anyway, may we get a leader that will make us happy for once. |
He will step down and the strike issue will be resolved immediately. The APC presidential candidate will take credit for that. It's all part of the campaign strategy. Poor students. |
Built2last:Well, we all know the reason APC invited this number of priests. But on a different note, being in a political gathering doesn't necessarily mean a priest is participating in politics. Priests go anywhere they're invited to pray. They don't reject the people they're called to save. |
Israeldan1:Mr. Physiologist, one look at his profile would tell you he comes up with different stories to entertain himself. Was is not this same girlfriend he claimed likes his cousin? Why are you crying more than the bereaved? By the way, why are you typing like a kid? Do you even know the meaning of the word "physiological"? |
