China is a worthy match unlike Russia that's threatening the world with nuclear weapons. China can level up quite well in terms if military and economy. But I don't believe they'd match the US. Those studying in Beijing know how far the Chinese government go to import scientific knowledge from the West. That said, I also do no think it is practical to tell the US not to visit Taiwan. China can threaten US/Taiwan with economic sanctions or wait for the outcome of the meeting to decide how they'd respond. Using force to stop the US from visiting Taiwan would imply they've claimed control of the region already. |
Lol... he said "if it was in other jurisdictions". That's his own version of the popular Nairaland expression, "in a sane clime". Anyway, even though what the senator did was shameful, attacking him instead addressing his point is a fallacy employed by those who have no counterpoint. Nigeria is complex country. A muslim-muslim ticket undermines that complexity. Yes, competence is key, but that's not the only key here. There are other competent Christians he could have chosen from. If it were just about competence, why was APC clamouring for the presidency to come to the South? It's also balance. Likewise, having a Muslim and Christian at the helm of affairs ensures checks and balances. I don't see how anyone would argue against this. That said, I believe it's up to the electorate to exercise thier power. May the best man win! |
Starchy7:It is not a war. It is an election. ![]() |
Totilopussylick:I couldn't care less about his titles, but the fact that it's being talked about isn't necessarily a Nigerian thing. He is not just any citizen but a presidential candidate and this is not just any title but a religious one. Even in the western world, it would get as much attention if not more. Imagine the Prince removing his title for political gains. Or have you forgotten how Obama's wife was criticized for straightening her hair? Something as flimsy as a hair style was considered politically motivated to please the white community. Removing religious titles would be treated as such. The reason is not because people don't have the right to remove thier titles. It is rather because when such a move is made by a public figure, there's always a side that feels disregarded. |
I have a feeling the husband supports Obi. This might be his way of telling people where his loyalty lies. |
Angelfrost:The PRO clearly stated that he resisted though. Mine is, since he was willing to pay the fine (according to him), why the arrest? |
cococandy:I see. |
lexy2014:He said there's a mini zoo near his place. |
Houses don't come with washing machines over there? |
It looks beautiful and I already like your mum for suggesting you keep it. People that like animals are mostly nice people. However, if you can't provide its needs, please sell to the zoo people or even give it to them. That's the best you can do for it. I'd have suggested you return it to its environment, but going by the way you described the area, I believe it's a straight baby and wouldn't survive out there. |
Nice... let's see what Nairalanders got to offer. |
oshozondii:Where are the several reasons? |
Omihanifa:If you were so sure, you would have known which one exactly. You guys just take rumors and stamp them as facts. Nawa o |

PerfectStranger:Africans and thier toxic masculinity. It takes a lot of courage to make such a public apology. Everyone messes up once in a while but only a few have the guts to acknowledge it and apologize. There's no point hiding under masculinity. |
If it was a lady that did this, the entire gender would have been called unprintable names today. |
Papichulostunne:No be fight. No vex, iron man. ![]() |
willyo:Neutralize 50 terrorists and recovered a pistol? Lmao. What then did you take away from the other 49? |
They don't want to see the other person happy with someone else. People get jealous even after they've quit the relationship. Seeing someone who left you happily enjoying life with someone else might hurt your feelings and even make you dislike the innocent third party. That's why it's good to stay far away from your ex. |
Not sure bringing politics into the show is cool. Fans will be divided based on political affiliations instead of individuals. |
They're not supporting Peter? Hhmm... |
1Alex:Have you viewed the planet earth from a distance before? Those who have say it's a life changing experience. It's like coming back from death. When you see how small this earth and everything we fight for are from a distance, material wealth and geopolitical divisions become less significant to you. This is the height these billionaires aim to reach. They're constantly searching for that sense of fulfillment that comes when you've seen it all. You call it a waste based on your financial level and your order of priorities. You're probably thinking of the investment you could make with the money, the people you could help or even more fun activities you could do with it. But the people in question can pay the $5m and still do all these. When expressed as a percentage of their worth, it may be just as expensive as you buying a new phone. If it were N5m, I would go. |
Smithkafors:Wow... the image you shared is saddening. What exactly did Buhari do for Nigerians? |
Will that not distract our youth from discussing our national issues? Or is it only BBN that distracts? |
Youngwiz71:The feel the same way everyone feels after watching any form of entertainment they enjoy. And what goes through thier mind is the same that go through your mind after watching a movie. BBN is a bunch of people leaving together. Sometimes, they flirt. But majority of the time, it's one game or the other. You wouldn't know this if you don't watch it because the only things bloggers and others want to share online are the flirting part because they know that draws a lot of traffic. However, even the so-called amorous part is nothing compared to what y'all watch everyday in movies and Nigerian music videos. If two people must touch each other or do stuff, it's always under the sheet. Viewers don't see shit. So unless you don't watch films or music videos, I'd say there's nothing peculiar about the show. The problem here is that Nigerians go out of thier way to criticize things they don't like. People somehow believe thier own preferences make them better than others. They say it distracts people from politics, yet the show doesn't have as much fans as football. They say it contains x rated stuff, but like I said, the movies and music videos you watch have more to offer in this department. Besides, this is the same Nigerians that top PornHub's viewers list. Y'all just need to let people relax in ways that appeal to them. Fun for you may not be fun for me. Do you, let me do me. |
H0didon:When you guys type like this, it makes me laugh. See Nigerian men and honesty. |
F4ku:They? |
Righteousness2:So why did Jesus not put on trousers? Were your forefathers putting on trousers? At what point did trousers become a man's attire? Meanwhile, the position of the word "absolutely" in your post alters the intended meaning. I'm sure you meant to say "there's absolutely nothing wrong with..." |
Samfloxin:I think it's actually is 5-1-2 at least for diocesan priests. You do your spiritual year in-between. That's about 8 years if everything's goes smoothly. This would imply he got into the senior seminary school at the age of 16. For religious priests, it takes much longer. |

...You can just be friends with her. She cares, that counts bro...And she's honest because for her to open up means she's genuine as well.. Her type is rare. Truth is a vital key of an honest person and its hard to see that in a NIGERIAN lady. I don't know why most guyz like sex. Not everything is sex. Some people can be in your life to help you in one way or the order.
