Confront ur girlfriend first and know what she will say. Possibly, she is too scared to face you and that may be why she hasn't said anything about it to you. It might also be that the guy is lying to you. I know it doesn't make sense. But it just might be possible. Ask her to confirm the truth of the matter.

If ur love for ur girl is worth fighting for, then you don't have to discard her because she made a "drunken" mistake. You might find ways of punishing her for that mistake but u don't throw her out.

People will always come here and tell you stuff like, "once a cheater always a cheater", "I can't continue in a relationship with a cheater". Don't listen to any of them. There is a big difference between a habitual and unrepentant cheater and someone who made a mistake.

Oscar Pistorius sentenced to 5 years in prison for killing girlfriend

PRETORIA, South Africa — A judge began announcing Oscar Pistorius’ sentence Tuesday at the climax of a months-long trial of the disabled Olympic runner for the killing of his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day last year.
Judge Thokozile Masipa summarized portions of the case ahead of announcing if Pistorius will go to prison for shooting Steenkamp through a toilet cubicle door in his home.

Masipa has a range of options for Pistorius’ punishment after convicting the double-amputee athlete of culpable homicide, or negligent killing, in Steenkamp’s 2013 shooting death, but acquitting him of murder. Masipa could issue a suspended sentence and a fine, meaning Pistorius would not go to jail. She could order him to go under house arrest, or she could send him to prison for up to 15 years.
Pistorius’ lawyers have argued for a three-year period of correctional supervision, where the runner would spend periods under house arrest and also perform community service. Prosecutors asked the judge to send him to prison for at least 10 years, citing the “horrific” nature of Steenkamp’s death after she was shot multiple times.

Masipa said at the start of proceedings Tuesday that the two legal assessors who had assisted her throughout the trial, flanking her on the dais during court proceedings, were not involved in the sentence decision.
“The decision of sentence is mine and mine alone,” she said.

The judge said sentencing was about “achieving the right balance” involving a number of factors, including the interests of society. Masipa said sentencing was not a “perfect exercise” and that a variety of sentences might be appropriate in some cases.
Pistorius was asked by the judge to remain seated on a wooden bench in the Pretoria courtroom until she formally announced his sentence. He sat and looked straight ahead at Masipa as she read from her judgment.
Pistorius, 27, was earlier escorted through crowds of onlookers and into the Pretoria courthouse by police officers wearing blue berets. The parents of Steenkamp, the 29-year-old model he shot multiple times through a toilet cubicle door in his home on Feb. 14, 2013, were also in court to hear the sentence.

The courtroom was packed, reflecting heightened media and public interest ahead of the sentencing. Police officers stood guard in the aisles.
Before proceedings started, Dr. Lore Hartzenberg, a psychologist, held Pistorius’ hand and spoke softly to him. Hartzenberg had testified for the defense that Pistorius was a “broken man” after killing his girlfriend and had suffered emotionally and financially — and shouldn’t be sent to prison.
A Pistorius supporter laid three white roses near Pistorius.
“I just wanted to bestow a little bit of inner happiness on Oscar,” said the supporter, who added that she thought he had lost a lot of self-respect.
Outside the courthouse, a man in orange garb carried chains and a large sign that read: “Are certain offenders more equal than other offenders before the law?”

Divorce suit: Pray for Rev Anita- Oyakhilome



Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy has responded to allegations against him following the divorce case filed by his wife, Anita.

He spoke on Sunday evening during the global communion service of the Church streamed from Canada.

The following is a transcript from the service

“I heard that some media houses – especially in Nigeria – are writing some things against me. All sorts of frivolous charges, that’s crazy,” he said. “You have to understand something about a man of God. A man of God is not just someone who worships God or preaches God. A man of God is handpicked by God, set on course by God. If you study the scriptures, you will not find one man of God go against God, sinning against God. “The only things you might find will be a man of God, maybe in two different kinds of ways. Moses, for example; when he struck the rock twice, [he] was provoked by the anger of the people. [It was] not because he wanted to do something against the Lord. No man of God does something against the Lord. “Are you hearing me? A man of God is set on a course; there is a type of life that he is given. Then you have a young man, a young prophet; he wasn’t named; he was deceived by another man of God and so he went in a direction that God said ‘don’t go’. “That is the only kind of thing you find about a man of God when he misses the message of God or he acts beyond what God said. But a man of God settles himself in the fight against the world… like those writing those silly things about me, that I did this and I did that. “You don’t know who a man of God is. I don’t go in that direction. I wasn’t accused of the things you said, nor did I commit those silly things that you said and I don’t need to go into that level in such discussions.

Jesus Christ was accused by many – a lot of frivolous charges. There will always be those who would like for it to be true. But you know, in spite of the accusations against Jesus, It didn’t change who he was. It didn’t change him. “There are preachers and there are men of God. I am not a preacher; I am a man of God and I go in the way I’m asked to go. It may cause some troubles with individuals but that’s not because I have done something wrong and when it comes to Reverend Anita, what I will say to you is ‘pray for her’. “Don’t act like those people. If you are married to a man of God, it doesn’t make you automatically mature. You can make mistakes; you can do something that is wrong. But some people expect the wife of a minister to definitely be at the level of that minister and so they may be looked upon and the expectation may be like that, but it’s a positional thing. “If a man of God is married, it doesn’t automatically mean that the wife of a man of God is therefore a woman of God. That’s not the way it is in the Bible.

That’s why you don’t really find the wives of men of God mentioned in the Bible. How many of them? Who was Peter’s wife, did you ever know her name? You never find that out. Who was John’s wife? Did you ever read the name? What about all the other Apostles? How many of their names are written in the Bible. You never find their names.” At this point, one of the female pastors sought to know why the names of wives of the men of God were not found in the Bible. Oyakhilome’s response was that she should ask God whenever she finds him. “Why? You ask God when you find him. Ask God when you find him,” he exclaimed. “So, they are little things; don’t try to make something big out of them. So when journeying, doing the things that God called us to do, Christians should not have a divorce; it shouldn’t be but you see, that doesn’t mean a Christian may not take the step. “They may do it but [they] have to make things right and we shouldn’t take one another to court. But when it happens, not that we don’t just want to go, it means someone is taking us there. That’s a problem, but be wise and stay focused in the word of God and don’t let those who want to feast on things like this, including Christians… “There are Christians who like things like this; they want to make something big out of this: ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, we said it’. You said what? Judge nothing before the time. Be wise. Glory to God. “So we are not working in sin and living in sin and hoping that we can mix sin and righteousness together. We are the manifestation of his righteousness. We walk in that light only, and that’s the way it’s gonna be.”

Op my advice to you is this:

As a big brother, tell her you'll like to meet her new found love to access if he's as cute as she is (all na wash). When the guy comes, welcome him well and tell him to feel at home. With that atmosphere, your sister will be elated that her brother is friendly with her friend.
Then you do this: send your sister to go out and buy a drink for her guest, while she is gone, quickly have a chat with the guy and tell him sternly that if he ever toys or breaks your sister's heart, that you're not likely gonna take it easy with him. Tell him the age of your sister and how much the family loves and cherishes her and should she wear as little as a frown because of him, that he may not like what will hit him.

I tell you with this, ehen, the guy will tread with caution and anytime he wants to mess up, he'll remember he has been warned.
And you too, make sure you treat your own gal well cos what goes around, they say, comes around, you hear?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Love between you two is all that matters.
