My brother, I call it God's favour because she was privileged to partake of the national cake those thieves have been distributing among themselves and their family members ONLY. So for one Fashion Designer who was not in any way related to them to have being give such a hugesome gift as OUR Oil Bloc, I see no reason why I wouldn't call it divine favour!
And believe me, Mariam already had a fashion desginer even before Alakija was introduced to her, but she wasn't so favoured as Alakija. I hope you see it from my perspective.

Does it mean She was able to set up an oil firm that had the capacity to bid for oil blocks as at that time? Or was She someone's mistress? To answer your questions. She was a very good fashion designer when someone introduced her to Mariam Babangida of blessed memory. Mariam Babangida has always being a very beautiful woman, but her fashion designer helped brought out all the beauties out of her. It was natural that she introduced her fashion designer to her husband who was then the Head of State because IBB would have been so impressed with the appearance of his wife anytime she steps out in those beautiful well-tailored wears. And in appreciation, IBB (who ran a chop-I-chop government), generously gave her an Oil Bloc (which she later registered as Famfa Oil) as he gave to others and because God has decided to favour Alakija, her Oil Bloc turned out to be the best among the others.

She didn't acquire her wealth as any rich man's mistress, she acquired it from God's divine favour. She simply met the right people at the right time, my dear.

It's of a truth that Buhari obviously will be the winner with 3,430 votes as against Atiku's 950 votes, but no congratulatory wishes have been exchanged yet. That of Kwankwaso is being counted now, then afterwards, that of Rochas. And from the look on Atiku's face here ooo, he doesn't seem like someone who is ready to congratulate anybody, not with the millions of dollars he has wasted bribing delegates to vote for him!
