Please don't be the next victim. If Usian Bolt legs can't carry you far away from that family, please borrow more fast legs!
There is an adage that says for you to know who your future wife really is or will be, see her mother.

I wish you well!

I loved it because we were made to understand the purpose we were admitted into that reputable institution!
FamilyRe: Am Looking For My Father by extremelygolden: 8:09am On Jul 11, 2016
I pray God directs him towards Nairaland, or someone who knows him comes in contact with what you've posted in Nairaland.

You'll surely find your father and all your efforts will never be in vain. I also want to advise that you go to the two (2) places mentioned that your father likely came from, go the local Chiefs there and explain everything to them, who knows, they might be able to help you trace your dad.

Best of luck, dear and never you lose hope, and when you find your father, do let us know also.

I will always remember you in my prayers.

Take this as one of those challenges life throws at you. Try all that is within you to cope with the situation and I know this is not going to be easy at all. Just promise yourself that no matter what happens, God has led this little one into your hand to take care of. Take away the idea that she's someone else's child, pretend that she's your biological child, be determined, be prayerful and work on her as you would naturally work on your child. With God and with your determination and prayers, she would be transformed so much that you'll wonder how it happened.

Be of good courage, Sister and don't lose hope yet. May God reward your labour of love in Jesus Name, Amen!
RomanceRe: Why Do Only Broke Men Approach Me For Marriage? by extremelygolden: 7:43am On May 06, 2016
My advice to you dear sister is that you can try move out of your home for now and rent a room self-contain for just a year. Accept any guy you like who doesn't know your financial background, pretend to need the little little things that an average lady needs or demands from her man. And if after the stated period of one year he proposes, and if he has the qualities of a man you want, open up to him and tell him the reason you did what you did.

I wish you best of luck.

Glory be to Almighty... God Win, I finally got a job after 3 and a half years as a customer service representative with .......

I'm not really the type that like blowing my horn but I guess I will be an ingrate if I don't share this testimony with Nairalanders to encourage others not to give up hope. Weeping may endureth through the night but definitely joy cometh in the morning. I pray that Almighty God will answer all the prayer request of all job seekers on here like he answered mine. Just be patient, His forever faithful.

I resumed yesterday and I think I enjoyed my first day at work, I promise to give out recharge cards at the end of the month when i get paid my first salary as an appreciation to all that I learnt here on Nairaland during the trial period and my job search quest that prepared/assisted me in getting this job.
Please give me the format of your CV to link me up to who will help me update mine. I need a change of job urgently. I am totally fed up with my current place of work. You can PM me, please. Thank you.

Please I need advise from anybody that read or is reading either Finance or Economics as a 2nd degree programme, preferrably on MSc.
I don't know which to choose between the two. Which has lesser mathematics than the other? I actually prefer any Management
Course but Unilag has it available as a Full Time Course only, while UI does not offer it presently.
Sale of form is ongoing and I would like to exploit the opportunity.

Mama Peace is a strong pillar to her husband's success story. A woman who could go all out to fight to the end for her husband, irrespective of what people say or think of her. She's a strong woman and a very kind one for that matter (from people that have met her one-on-one).

You are the first Public Figure I've seen here that could talk for hours without glancing from as liitle as a piece of paper!
Mama Peace, your fans will surely miss your comedy - for which I am one of them!

She can't do domestic chores, she can't hustle/work 2 make money (even in a little way)she only demands 4 everything she needs and expects her wish 2 work in her favour.. She is full of excuses when confronted. How can 1 cope wit dis kind of lady? Folks, I need ur contributions on dis pls.
Well, my paternal uncle married the same type of a woman but by the time he was through with her, she sat up on her own. She just couldn't do anything only to eat and gossip. She had house helps at her beck and call. To even keep neat her home was wahala. She couldn't even tend to her baby. She learnt hairdressing, fashion design, all sorts, yet she wasn't able to manage any business. One day, my uncle got fed up, told her he was travelling and with the pretense that he forgot something at home drove in with a very beautiful lady and made sure his wife saw her. We later learnt it was all facade because he never travelled and the lady in his car was his friend's wife whom my aunt never met before then. It was his friend that asked my uncle to go along with his wife to pretend as if they were travelling together as a couple. My uncle eventually spent 3days in his friends house. By the time he presumably came back from his journey, at two weeks interval he'll tell his wife he was embarking on another journey, his friends will still keep him at their homes. When his wife couldn't bear it anymore, she has to run to her husband's friends to tell them that she didn't know why her husband travels frequently these days.

Anyway, that solved the problem of her laziness. She now has a shop where she sells ankara. Surprisingly, my aunt now cooks and sweeps. She changed positively now. And the good thing is that in all of these, my uncle said he never cheated on her.
Maybe you should try something similar. Per adventure she too might change.

Thanks man... it will be a classy restaurant... not as expensive as the most expensvie

and not as cheap as the most cheap...

I want the pricing to be optimal.. so that all class of the society can come in

although... will it be bad if i had a VIP section in the restaurant..?

dont want to be the segregate type... but i feel some people fall for VIP things...

Once more..Thanks for your advice
If it's a storey building you can manage the segregation, but if it's just on the same floor, honestly I don't know how that will work cos I can't imagine myself walking in and probably because of my physical appearance which might be a misconception (let's say on my way from a function I checked in to have a bite) and you serve me a bit higher than I can afford, or vice versa, you know that wouldn't really go well. But if's a storey building, of course, it'll be easier to put things in their right place (if you understand what I mean).
BusinessRe: How Much Does It Take To Start A Restaurant by extremelygolden: 10:24am On May 20, 2015
It also depends on the quality of the food you want to be selling and your targeted customers. For instance, we might be running the same business in the same location, while you opt to selling a plate of rice, let's say for N250.00, I might decide to sell mine for N1000.00. Sometimes your own food might even be sweeter, but my packaging and/or branding might make a certain class prefer my resturant, even when your service seem far cheaper.

Everything depends on how you want it, bros. And you must heed the advise given to you earlier about registering your business cos you never can tell when you'll really need it (i.e. if you think otherwise now).

I wish you God's favour.

Does she know any of your sisters? If no, tell one to visit you, pretend she is the love of your life and that you've known eachother since you were kids, that even your families are already aware of your relationship, after that, I don't think she'll bother with you again. But if she's persistence after your sister's visit, use the opportunity of the transfer to subtly discontinue any form of relationship with her.

Valentine died for love, Romeo also died for love, Jack in titanic died for love, Samson in the Bible died for love, Greek heroes Hercules & Archilles died 4 love ... & even Jesus Christ died for love! where are the women? Dnt buy any woman a Valentines treat this year until she gives you at least 5 names of women who died for love send this to all the males you know let's boycott this valentine
That one is simple nah! See that Valentine's gift? Omo, you can't escape buying it for me ooo

1. Mother Theresa died for love (please don't ask me how)
2. Mary Magdalene died loving Christ (don't ask me how)
3. You yourself have said it, Juliet died loving Romeo
4. Those women their reckless husbands murdered, died for love, just that in their case, they died loving the wrong men
5. The ones that committed suicide (after disappointment and betrayal by the men they loved wholeheartedly) also died for love.

What are you saying? More women died for love more than all the men you've mentioned.

My Val gift now, jor!

But you must let him know.
FamilyRe: What Is The Best Thing To Do When Your Newly Married Wife Says No To You On Bed? by extremelygolden: 8:25am On Feb 09, 2015
Then try pre-intimacy, Op. It works wonders in situation of unnecessary tiredness. Start up a little communication on how her day went, how beautiful her body glow, you know those things that when men say make us blush? Say it to her, while your hand performs magic on her body, you'll see she'll naturally give in to you.

The problem with some men is that they don't understand the place of romance in sex. It's not about diving headlong into her punny or taking permission to make love to your woman. Believe me some men do try to take permission by saying something like "darling, let's make love". You shouldn't start by saying it, start by pre-intimacy. Send her to high heavens with your hand and mouth and by the time you're done, ehen, she'll be the one begging you to penetrate. She's your wife afterall. And the next time you're together, she'll even be the one trying to initiate sex!

To me, there's something you aren't doing right on bed that she's probably shy to say, and the only way to protest is to always complain that she is tired. Find out those things and fix it.

I wish you blissful married life!
