I have one question that begs for answer(s),
Would a survivor of Covid 19 be infected again if exposed to the virus?

Still hazy, some said they may be protected for up to two years, some said they may be reinfected immediately but only with mild illness, some still said those that suffer reinfection are those with immunity problems prior..Everything is still up in the air, just like the virus itself. There's only one remedy so far - social isolation..Lest I forget, ignore the oxymoron..

That's one of the downsides of too easy a life. Europeans live very easy lives and crack under the slightest of pressures. The reasons they commit suicide in many instances are simply unbelievable. Some have taken their lives for calls from debtors, losing relationships, workplace stress, bullying etc..

All these 1week and 1month Nigerian used vehicles, I don't understand it...Did the owners deliberately use them for those short periods just to reduce their market prices before selling Or did they buy them only to discover difficult-to-fix faults and then decide to cut their losses?

'Mere' malaria? It's just that there are medications for it.. Malaria is a very serious disease. We in Africa have managed to acquire partial immunity to it. Have you ever seen a White Man with malaria? If you do, you would realize how life threatening malaria could be..

These statistics are all over the net.
WHO recommended doctor to patient ratio is 1:600.Nigeria has 1:3500.UK has 1:300 yet they keep employing our doctors everyday.
MDCN said they have graduated about 80k doctors but only 40k renewed their licenses last year. Divide approx 200 million Nigerians by 40k,that gives about 1 doctor to 5000 citizens.And even among that 40k ,many are no longer in active practice, they only renew their licenses so they can be able to legally do the occasional phone consultation once in a while.
There are more doctors seeking for residency spots compared to what the teaching/tertiary hospitals can absorb.That is what you erroneously assume to mean that there are excess doctors.
Another factor salary disparity which makes everyone want to work in hospitals owned by the fed govt plus doctors will also like to work in urban areas where at least there better schools and other social amenities for at least their families.
You have to also consider the fact that many doctors desire job satisfaction,it is painful being in a hospital where the only thing available to work with is paracetamol tablets.
In this country,there are several local govts with 1 or 2 doctors in a whole local govt or haven't you been to the north even b4 the insurgency?
The health centers you see in the local govts are supposed to be well equipped and manned by medical doctors or do you know the cost in terms of lives when accident or emergency patients have to be carried several tens of kilometers to better equipped hospitals?Why do you think the life expectancy is so poor in Nigeria?

I think you are the one missing the point. I never said Nigeria has enough doctor to patient ratio. A doctor cannot work for free. Reeling out WHO statistics is not the issue. The fact is that the Nigerian system cannot afford enough doctors for it's people even though they're available in the country. Most underemployed Nigerian doctors may not bother with licence renewal. Many Nigeria villages have no doctors not because there are no doctors to work there but they can't afford one.

That has always been the case. It's not about nowadays. There are currently more doctors in Nigeria than the system can absorb. A good number of them are underemployed.

Lol! Have you ever been to any hospital where there is an interview for recruitment of doctors? You see them in their hundreds even when the vacancy could just be in tens. The scarcity of health personal in Nigeria is structural. Large parts of Nigeria are undeserved, yet many doctors are unemployed. Its not necessarily about those that left the country. In fact many left because they could not secure a decent job here. Many state governments cannot afford doctors. Local governments are not even in the equation, yet they are needed everywhere. Good careers are only found in federal institutions and few state hospitals. That's the real problem - absorptive capacity of the economy, not necessarily scarcity..

A classical case of dementia. They lose mental capacity. Common with old age. They need 24-hour care. Sadly this condition is poorly understood in Nigeria and sufferers are mindlessly stigmatized and neglected. Some are even called witches and wizards.

A private company has no unlimited right to make rules. Your rules must be subject to the country's Laws. You can't make a rule that goes against people's fundamental rights and expect that to stand. Racial discrimination is fundamentally wrong all over the world.

I do not particularly like the word 'work.' Human beings are the only animals who have to work, and I think that is the most ridiculous thing in the world. Other animals make their livings by living, but people work like crazy, thinking that they have to in order to stay alive. The bigger the job, the greater the challenge, the more wonderful they think it is. It would be good to give up that way of thinking and live an easy, comfortable life with plenty of free time. I think that the way animals live in the tropics, stepping outside in the morning and evening to see if there is something to eat, and taking a long nap in the afternoon, must be a wonderful life. For human beings, a life of such simplicity would be possible if one worked to produce directly his daily necessities. In such a life, work is not work as people generally think of it, but simply doing what needs to be done.

Can such laissez faire approach to life bring any meaningful progress to mankind? Think of the internet and keypad that made your thoughts accessible to others..It wouldn't have been possible if we lived by the day with no thoughts about the future like animals do..

Still doesn't mean that China would lower the prices of goods that they export, even if oil prices drop to the bottom of the ocean. If anything, they would make them higher. China that I know to an extent cannot suffer the brunt of coronavirus and not make the rest of the world have a taste of what it suffered.

There is competition between China and other countries as well as between producers within China itself. That would determine the prices of goods after coronavirus crisis..

Sadly, no one would raise a finger against the malevolent politicians. Nigerians are only concerned about the vernacular ring of the leadership as against what the leader actually does in the office. Once a leader's name has a similar vernacular ring to theirs, Nigerians would protect them with the last drop of their blood, literarily, even without food, clothing, education, water, housing, health - So if you are up against Nigerian leaders you should be ready to fight their hungry, illiterate, dirty, homeless, kinsmen. The bottomline is - Oil is in its last days...Nigerian politicians are busy fighting over oil money instead of investing in renewable energy and sustainable economic development. To imagine the amount this dumb government blinded by ethnicity and bigotry, is investing on oil exploration in the north even when everyone knows oil is becoming increasingly worthless - North. Easy Money. Anti Development..It could have been alright for the North and its leadership to keep playing the ostritch....sad thing though is that the failure of northen leadership is the failure of Nigerian leadeship because both represent one and the same people..

Don't be ridiculous! The man is a much older male and is expected to be much stronger. Using his might on her is enough for her to fear for her life and any weapon she lays her hands on can be used in that desperate situation. When you feel your life is in danger, every force is allowed, it doesn't matter if the person endangering your life is using a weapon or bare hands. In the case in question, the man is certainly old enough to elicit that level of fear in the girl even without any weapon.

Considering the age gap, the law would be inclined to believing her. The character of the man could also be investigated to ascertain if he's had a similar case in the past. Even if it's proven that she should be guilty, being a minor counts in her favour. It's not likely to be wilful premeditated murder, which could compound her case. The girl is not likely to suffer much punishment whichever way the case goes.

Moral of the story - Full grown men should stay away from minors. Everything is stacked against you. You lose everything. She loses nothing. Even if she comes to you, scold her and make sure nothing with the faintest whiff of sex exists between you and them..

They don't need to pay anyone any special fee for this. They should have an in-house department that deals with these types of things. An external body could design something radically different and sell to then if the management approves of it but these minor tinkering could very easily be done by their staff at no extra cost to the company.

Funnily enough, I usually make jest of my brother for using pedal lock - the inconveniences and the awkward position and process of engaging it..But it appears to be one of the best ways of safeguarding these thieves' magnets called Corolla...and yes he uses the exact same type..
