PoliticsRe: Degi-Eremienyo: The Conflicting Names That Disqualified APC Deputy Governor by fabienjoe: 3:50pm On Feb 14, 2020
tricksters:
Only a foolish man will believe anything from a PDP stooge like the OP. The only thing needed to reconcile all the name from the document the OP listed is a sworn affidavit from any law court in Nigeria so how is that a problem worth nullifying a gubernatorial election over ?
Let's leave out politics in all these...do you honestly believe these names refer to one and the same person? Put in another way...you're an employer and a candidate comes with those variations in his credentials, would you trust and employ him even if he came with affidavits to match?

It's difficult to say how she would take it. You could lose your job. But even if she accepts the offer, things would never remain the same again in the office. There could be a chance of trouble in the work place. Don't ask her out.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Repay Abacha Loot If It’s Stolen Again – US by fabienjoe: 11:47am On Feb 05, 2020
mu2sa2:
"Do funds stolen from Nigeria adversely affect the living standard of the Americans? No" - This is subjective. Stolen funds( we're talking of billions of dollars here)stashed away in western countries oil their economy and that's why they make it difficult to get these monies back. And even if you manage to get extradition agreement, you'll find it screwed in favour of the country releasing the fund (e.g by releasing the money in tranches over a lond period of time or tying it to projects awarded to companies linked to those countries). Stolen funds kept in US benefit US economy in a big way.
Of course it's good for their econony. It does not affect them adversely so there's little incentive to deal with it. And they are right. It's our problem and we must deal with it from here..But Nigerians would inexplicably deify the thieves at home and blame the receving country..
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Repay Abacha Loot If It’s Stolen Again – US by fabienjoe: 9:49am On Feb 05, 2020
mu2sa2:
Being a nigerian is not your problem, but illiteracy is. The conditions imposed aren't peculiar to nigeria, but are applied by western countries for repatriation of stolen funds. Those countries, including US, are accomplices in the whole transction by allowing foreign thieves to bring in these finds in the first place.
The thief is the one that stole and took to another country, more than the country it's taken to. US has enough trouble dealing with its own thieves. There is no budget in the US to chase your own thieves. That should be your own problem. That should be in your own budget. Do funds stolen from Nigeria adversely affect the living standard of the Americans? No. It therefore shouldn't worry American government a lot since their oath of allegiance is to the Anerican people. But funds stolen from Nigeria inflicts nigerians with poverty and Sub-human existence, How does it bother your ethnic, tribal and religious demigods in power?

I think you need to be reminded that Nigeria is a sovereign Nation... A fact the US of A clearly understands better you do.
Left alone, Nigeria would self destruct. The little 'sanity' left is just because the big powers like the US are watching like Big Brother..Put to vote, I'll unreservedly vote for recolonisation...and I dare add, this action of the US brings a whiff of that. Nigeria as presently constituted cannot govern itself. Something has to give. The handlers of Nigeria have no courage to face that reality yet. It's not looking good.

You should be thanking them.

Many of you young people on this forum don’t read or you have difficulty understanding what you read.

It is the mind bugging corruption in Nigeria which should outrage you but you seem to be fine with it.

Nigeria is being treated like the shithole it is because leaders don’t have a clue as to how to deal with corruption in a country even dogs seem to be corrupt.

They are putting the stollen money your leader Abacha stole into an accounts and would make sure the money is used for projects in Nigeria for poor Nigerians and should incase the money is stollen again, the Nigerian government would be made to pay back the money till the project is finished.

They figured out you cannot take corruption and stealing out of the Nigerian and they need to be supervised to make sure they don’t steal their own money. How do you like that as a useless shithole country ?

Complete the projects in Nigeria and thank the Americans for it .

Useless people !
Tell them brother...Nigerian youths are frustrating. They worship the irresponsible thieves stealing them blind purely for ethnic and religious reasons, blaming their attendant poverty on functional, responsible nations like the US. Who is annoying? Your leader that cannibalized your country or a different government that owes you nothing but out of magnanmity, decided to return the loot to you and taking steps to ensure the returned loot impacts your miserable life rather than restolen by your malevolent demigods? Many Nigerians do not deserve to be called 'human'. They should belong to something a tad lower in the evolutionary tree.

Was it the government that killed him?

Crime is being curbed in every great nation like Nigeria. Why should you just heap the blame on the government . The kidnappers are citizens like me and you and you think it's fair to just point a finger at the government for an evil perpetrated by people it governs.

Oh! Your hate for the president will never make you dissect issues thoroughly.
Which planet are these people from? What has been the government's policy on Boko Haram? Arrest them 'rehabilitate them' and throw them right back into the heart of the nation's security complete with weapons purchased with tax payers' money...Is that not practically spitting on the graves of those the evil lot murdered? Is that not practically promoting terror with our scarce resources? Buhari has simply struggled to live down the amnesty for Niger Delta Militants and has thrown the nation to the dogs of Boko Haram. Of what use is a government that cannot protect its citizens? How many of these deaths have been accounted for? Who has been arrested, tried and convicted for these killings? Some of you Buharists are irredeemable..

Car TalkRe: Was I Scammed Or Is The Dealer Right? by fabienjoe: 8:14am On Jan 31, 2020
...but even the story itself without hearing from the dealer shows no overt fraud. You paid a fee for a service and was dissatisfied with what you got. What means of redress did you seek from the service provider before making alternative arrangement? Obviously none. The service was already in process seeing as he sent you some pictures of cars so it is fair to assume he had already started the job. Where is the scam in this? Refunding your part payment is out of it. The only resolution if you're dissatisfied is to meet him for variation of the contract since it didn't go to plan. He would present the bill for the effort he put in and two of you would determine whether he needs to refund you, or you need to top up the N20,000. I'm sure you won't ask a lawyer to fully refund legal fees already paid if you decide to discontinue a case midway...or ask a school to refund your school fees because you're withdrawing from your programme midway...or perhaps ask a doctor to refund
professional fees he had already received because you don't want to continue the treatment in his hospital....

To start with.........[/quote]No lawyer can crack this one. This is a case of money laundering, if I manage to make sense of it. going the legal way will certainly lead to the confiscation of the cash and investigation of both the sender and the receiver. The only small window to explore would be direct negotiation with those having the cash.

Mr President the way Security is been handled by you surprised us too
I must be missing something...Is this same Buharist I knew all along? But I must add, Buhari disappointed a lot of us. Jonathan was floundering and we thought Buhari would steady the ship. We initially struggled to excuse his obvious failures until it became crystal clear he hadn't the large heart, the forthrightness and the will power to manage Nigeria, given its plurality and bad economy...But any constructive engagement on Nairaland quickly degenerates into ethnic and religious mudslinging...Speaking against Buhari makes you a frustrated IPOB member and speaking for him makes you a Patriot. It was frustrating. Back to Sarrki, you called yourself a patriot, perhaps the patriotic fibre in you is becoming manifest, seeing that blind defense of Buhari gets harder as each day passes, giving his progressively chaotic leadership..Of course the only consistency is the appointment of Muslim northerners in every significant government position.

Efcc is populated by illiterate Fulani clansmen and don't have the kind of intelligence that they are claiming. No FBI contacted them about anything. This guy was caught in one of the Efcc raids on yahoo boys and his phones and computer were searched and the boy was probably tortured to confess his recent transactions from which efcc formed their tales by moonlight.

Email compromise can never be traced to the original hacker cause the funds are forwarded to a US picker who moves the funds to a safe account and then sends the % down through another third party who removes their own percentage before the original hacker gets 35 to 40% of funds.

You people like to talk from both sides of your mouth like palm wine drunks. "Real men don't touch women;" "Any man that lays his hands on women is a beast." Now here you are defending the same masculinity that all your fellow females have persuaded society to see as monstrous.
If a man beats a woman in self-defense, who will want to hear that it was self-defense? This same judge will send him to jail!
Here's the tip...women are the most confused things to ever take breath...

If he had beaten her up, no one would have conceived today's events. Feminists would be all over him, demonizing him, moreso given his privileged background. The woman would be dressed as a saint, can't hurt a fly. A very unfortunate and heart-rending turn of events for all concerned, including neutral observers. Marriage is not for boys and girls, it's for men and women...But I'm honestly at a loss why a Muslim woman would be too pained by a husband's philandering ways..They are allowed 4 and I guess courtship should be part of the deal...

RomanceRe: Should Men Be Forced To Marry Ladies After Impregnating Them? by fabienjoe: 8:16pm On Jan 21, 2020
Splinz:
Yes. shocked

If coercion is the only means of prevailing on one, an irresponsible fellow at that, to take up responsibility for his genital-controlled-sense, then that's fine.

Or who is there among fertile men, wanting to have an unprotected sex with a woman, wouldn't know that chances of getting her pregnant is high?

I can only think of a dickhead.
Getting someone pregnant is a biological process. It naturally takes its course. Marriage is a lot more complex...above all, it goes with consciousness and responsibility. You can't ghost through it. It cannot work if both parties don't commit to it. At the risk of sounding sexist, I think women should be the ones to make the biggest decisions in these matters because they're the ones to live with the pregnancy and all its disruptions. Men of course should equally be responsible but I don't think any woman would be pleased to carry the baby of an irresponsible man who most times, walk away unscathed. Any woman sleeping with a man unprotected must be sure she can deal with the consequences. It cannot be a trap for marriage.
CrimeRe: Face Of The Pregnant Lady Murdered By Husband In Onitsha & Thrown From 5th Floor by fabienjoe: 3:14pm On Jan 21, 2020
He's an animal but forcing marriage on anyone is wrong. Two adults had consensual sex and pregnancy resulted. The man should take responsibility for the baby. He must not necessarily marry the girl, unless he makes that decision by himself. The lady I believe was not a minor so was fully aware of what could result from that liaison. Tragedy of imaginable proportions...3 souls destroyed...The lady, the baby and the man..
Moral of the story...Adults should be reasonable in their decisions. Sex has implications and is only for adults that are ready to deal with those implications...these lot certainly do not fit this criteria..

PoliticsRe: Amotekun: South West Governors Say They Won’t Back Down by fabienjoe: 7:46am On Jan 20, 2020
But the South West may eventually back down with the sustained pressure and blackmail from the North. Tinubu still has a firm grip on them and I'm sure he's not enjoying this drama. The truth is that no one can actually work with the North to achieve any meaningful development. It involves so many compromises that the only thing you are guaranteed working with the North is a chance to loot. Every progressive move is viewed with suspicion. I've said it before but I wish to stress again...Nigeria is doomed as it is. It is shackled by the North. It won't develop, no matter who the president is. The South West may yet get the presidency but it would fully be at North's terms. What would dictate those terms is their paranoia. The North is only interested in Power, not development.
