It means you're just a casual worker. You have no contract. You are working at your own risk. They can decide not to pay you and you can't do anything about it. On the flip side, you're not bound by any rule. You can be late or decide not to go to work at all, they can deal with the issue any way their deem fit and if that way is unacceptable to you, you can casually walk away from them. The only rule that applies between you and them is that which applies to everyone in the society - no illegality..

They can't both be 2005. ES330 replaced ES300 so is an improvement on it - slightly higher displacement engine etc. You are more likely to have the ES330 as a 2005 model. ES300 is an earlier model 2003ish..

You need to get the true picture. This is certainly extreme, but he may have done extreme things in resisting the arrest. Comparing blacks and whites, truth is, blacks are more likely to resist the law with extreme aggression than the whites. Funny thing is, they do this even when it's obvious they would never be able to escape the law. Same applies to the courts - the white man is more likely to own up to his crimes for summary trial, when the evidence is presented to him, saving the court money and time...A black man would lie to the end, clinging on irrelevant technicalities..

Court decisions can be challenged. Why didn't Nigerian government just hand over the billions to P&ID even though obviously Nigerian officials used the company to defraud the country? The argument here would be that it won't be in the interest of the common man in Nigeria that is ravaged by poverty illiteracy and disease to be so shafted by their elites. Another argument would be that the point needs to be made to aspiring looters that crime doesn't pay. The government should look at trail of the cash, over-invoicing, direct fraudulent transfers, illicit cash movements, etc may be uncovered. This could help the case. Even if it fails, the government may have convinced its citizens it has tried its best to fight their corner..

If you want to know the source of our modern democratic crises across board, look no further than OBJ's administration. All kinds of egregious precedents were set during that time, the negative effects of which continue to haunt us.

A government worth its salt would challenge that agreement rather than attempt to hand over that humongous sum, obviously proceed of crime, to Bagudu. The argument would be simple - the money belongs to Nigerian people and the government should not be seen to be rewarding criminals. Ask the court to nullify the agreement. At least attempt it and let's see what the courts would rule. Obj may have entered the agreement but he's no longer the president. The current government should not hide under that excuse to reloot the funds.

That's not particularly correct. Qualify it. Nigerians in the US are on the average, more educated than the native Americans...But you need to ask, what's the profile of the Nigerian emigrating to the US? They are usually professionals and middle class people, usually educated. Almajiris, bus conductors, petty traders, illiterate businessmen, artisans etc don't have access to US travel and immigration, but they're our reality here in Nigeria..So yes Nigerian immigrants may be more educated than the average citizens there but they are equally more so than those they left behind in Nigeria.

There was no fatality in the Iranian air strike. They had casualties but no deaths. In any case, the injuries may not have been apparent the day after the bombing. They had to do screening to confirm that some of them had concussion. Information management is different from outright lies.

We shouldn't just be about making money and feel less concerned. We should be proactive in our reasoning. Why not get down the bridge and look for eatries or public toilet for the rider. The safety of the rider should be your sole responsibility till he gets to his final destination.

Stomach upset, not urination. Read the story well. Stomach upset entails that u need a toilet and there's non on the bridge. Driver should have been swift in reasoning.

So if the guy gave the impression he was badly pressed, the driver would keep driving him for the entire length of the bridge, to where exactly, never mind the little matter of the man doing number 2 right inside the vehicle?. How could the driver have imagined a 22 year old apparently healthy man would be suicidal? If the passenger ramps up the pressure, the driver would have no option. Part of caring for the welfare of the passenger is stopping when he demanded it. Suicide would be the last thing on your mind in the circumstance if you were the Uber driver. Perhaps given this experience, another passenger that makes a similar request could trigger his curiosity..

The 17 year old guy should be remanded in correctional facility for juveniles. He abducted that girl a sort of kidnapping and raped her. He is older and no 15 year old gives consent for sexual intercourse. They are both minors admittedly but even minors are remanded for juvenile offenses and misdemeanors.

...Sex in itself is not a crime..it only becomes a crime in certain circumstances. The only thing that can make it crime in the present circumstance is if it was forced on the girl...even then, the boy would only face a juvenile court. He would not have to sign the sex offenders register..

It is a criminal offense to put anybody less than 18 in a family way. If the man is 18 ad above he will be convicted of a felon and if less than 18 he will be convicted and remanded for a misdemeanor.

They are both minors. The sex was consensual. There's absolutely no crime. Both families should take their children home and counsel them. This case shouldn't be in court. The police should know better.
