Omihanifa: SuperSport Channel will not broadcast African Cup of Nations games as DSTV failed to secure the tournament’s right to broadcast.
MultiChoice announced this in a statement on Wednesday as football lovers prepare for another edition of AFCON.
“SuperSport Channel will not broadcast the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 scheduled for January 13th to February 11th, 2024, because the channel has not secured the rights to broadcast the tournament,” said MultiChoice.
MultiChoice added, “However, AFCON 2023 games will be available through our partner broadcast stations on Free to Air (FTA) channels.”

Family › Re: I Want To Adopt A Child As A Single Man by Fantazy(m): 1:25pm On Jan 03, 2024 |
tasalanoni: Nl folks, pls your opinions are needed. I'm currently 31, earning reasonably well and with greater prospects for the future.
The pressure to settle down is getting stronger by the day. However, I don't consider myself psychically fit for marriage in the midst of the deterioration that the marriage Institution is experiencing.
Judging by my current perspective and disposition on the subject of marriage, I don't see myself setting down even in the next 5years. I try to carefully look at the pros and cons of contracting a marriage in today's world and I always come to the conclusion that there are more cons than pros.
I'm also not a very family oriented person in the sense of creating familial bonds and deeply cherishing them hence I derive my fulfillment and pleasure in doing the things I love to do, acquiring wealth and giving help wherever I deem necessary.
The thought of opting for an adoption is beginning to occupy the greater part of my consciousness and the reasons are few and in my opinion very valid.
1. Progeny is very important in social arrangements especially in the Igbo society. I'll definitely be needing someone to carry on the family's name and legacy when I'm no more.
2. If my perspective on marriage changes for any reason and I decide to take the step towards contracting one, I may have become a little too old then to handle the perculiates of marriage and family life( parenting, school runs issues etc). But with a child already in picture and almost a teenager by then, that part of the problem would have been kicked out.. Nb:As for raising the adopted child, myself, parents, siblings and a helper will be involved while financial responsibility will be exclusively mine.
Kindly help me with insightful and mature advice that is based on direct or third party experience. That’s not a good idea considering the fact that you’re still young (31). What becomes of the innocent adopted child in the next few years when you get a woman pregnant and have a child from your gene? Trust me, that gap (between the adopted child and ur biological child) will always be there. You can only do that IF you know (sorry to say) you are proven to be impotent or if you re above 50. In conclusion: do not rush yourself to adopting any child now. Wait for 1 to 3 years and get a baby mama (if you desperately want a child but not ready to settle down. |

Naijagram: Seeking your thoughts, everyone!!!
I work as a salaried individual and earn around 400k monthly.
However, my girlfriend constantly asks for money. I give her almost 100k every month and she feels it's not enough for her. She's even voiced discontent, suggesting I only send her money when she explicitly requests it.
I'm beginning to suspect her motives, as she seems solely focused on my income.
She never suggests saving or helps in cutting costs; her primary interest lies in spending everything. Despite my genuine love for her, I can't keep up with her demands. I had hopes for our future together, but it seems unlikely now.
I'm considering a breakup as a solution.
Has anyone navigated a similar situation? I don’t like insulting or talking harshly to my fellow man, but sir if you have given her almost or over 100k monthly (as u said) more than two months now. You are mad! The money no be my own o, but you are a disgrace to the male gender. Do you need a prophet to tell you that a woman/lady/girl who demands too much from a man doesn’t like/love him? You are a maga/mugu to her! |

pansophic: No. God also cares about the outward appearance of the church - his people who he has chosen to serve him. You can't dress as you like a believer. You need to appear modest, decent and pure at all times before the eyes of God. Believe me when I say this that God is very concerned about your outward appearance both male and female likewise. So, does barbing any of those hair style make one indecent/look indecent? I don't think so! |

This is rubbish! I’m a Christian and I totally disagree with this! God doesn’t care about the outward appearance of a person, as long as it doesn’t lead anyone to sin (and I don’t think any of those hairstyles u mentioned can lead anyone to sin). |

naijamanyoutube: I was in Manchester for 2 weeks as my first stop on my Europe tour, I plan to visit over 20 European countries on this tour.
I stayed with my sister and her family in Manchester, I was treated like a king with so many delicious Nigerian food.
I took pictures of some of them and here they are. These food might look like no big deal to many on here, but it is for me, since I don’t know how to cook and I live in Las Vegas where it’s very expensive to eat Nigerian food at a restaurant.
I’m in Edinburgh, Scotland at the moment, will make my way to Glasgow, Scotland tomorrow, and then board a bus that will take me to Northern Ireland. The bus will drive onto a Ferry to cross the Irish Sea. I will stay one day in Belfast and then jump on a train to places I don’t know yet, but I have to be at the airport in Dublin on Monday the 23rd of October to catch a flight to London, where I will stay with Dj Douglas for 1 week. He’s is a childhood friend of mine. He’s the one who taught Dj Neptune how to Dj. The last time I saw Douglas face to face was back in December 2005, when he went to the airport with me when I was traveling to Amsterdam from Lagos, on vacation. Before I got back to Lagos in January of 2006, Douglas don japa go London. Lol
He’s established now with a wife and kids.
I will post more as I go about my journey. Stay tuned. It shows you have accomplished your goal in life already. (You are blessed) Please Support people like me who is still finding a path to success. Nothing is too small. So God can be happier to see you through your journies ahead |

Admin, Please push this to front page I beg you!
My phone sent an automatic SMS to my female employer (school proprietor).
There is this short messages that pops up and people send when they re not in a place to pick a phone call. SMS like; See you soon, on my way home, call you soon etc.
The thing is, my phone was in my pocket when a call came in, I didn't notice it. It was when I got home and went through my messages that i saw a sent message from me to my employer which read "I'm on my way home darling, love you"!
I was shocked cos I never and can never send such an SMS to such a person. When I checked my call history, I discovered I declined a call from her. That means when the phone was in my pocket her call came in and the screen got pressed inside my pocket as I moved without my knowledge, and send the message automatically.
I got a call few minutes later after the discovery, from the principal. It took other of my colleagues who knows there's something like that mostly on Android phones to convince my proprietor, else I would have got sacked.
Please how can I delete/cancel or edit those sms? So it won't appear again next time. Thanks |
