Gwan2:I assume "yanga" means "shakara". I don't know your history with the lady, but I notice (at least on Nairaland) that a girl's age will always be mentioned whenever a man can't have his way with her. ALWAYS. Why did you have to mention that she's 27? Like it should have an effect on her decision or what? ![]() If not that, it's the empty threats of Shiloh and menopause. It a very defeatist attitude if you ask me. But hey, what do I know? |
@ Graphicer, It's commendable how you've managed to come up with this kind of work, considering you're still a learner. I'm sure you'll produce even better designs as you progress further towards becoming an expert in the field. Having said that, endeavour to be more keen on your spellings to avoid coming off as unprofessional. Resurrection for instance is spelt with a double 'r', not a single 'r'. Good luck! |
Gwan2:Even if she gets herself burnt, so what? Will the Earth stop spinning because of that? Will she be the first person to experience disappointment? Doesn't life go on after disappointments? And who's to say YOU will not even be the one to disappoint her? Listen. No girl is under any obligation to accept your proposal or love, just like you have no obligation to accept a girl you don't fancy. It's called PERSONAL CHOICE. It's funny how you "logical" gender resort to cheap threats and age-shaming tactics when faced with rejection. She's 27, so she must accept you, eh? Small rejection they can't take. Later they'll say it's women who can't handle rejection. |
Gwan2:Just because she's unenthusiastic about you doesn't mean she's doing yanga. It could be she's just not into you at all. |
Just came to read the comments from the men-don't-need-marriage crew. ![]()

ThickSharon123:We don't find the same kind of men sexy. Understood perfectly. ![]() |
Magicdon:My response was not in relation to him winning or losing the game. |
ThickSharon123:That Ijaw man effortlessly oozes sex appeal. Serious sex appeal. He has the most beautiful white teeth and beautiful, clean skin. The type of man who can tempt a wife to have an affair. ![]() I have nothing against Whitemoney though. I wish him the best in his endeavours. ![]() |
You were not scammed by a girl. I can tell you that for sure.

Beautiful family. Happy anniversary Mr. And Mrs. Okocha. |
Klass99:I'm doing good Klass. Scarce? It's been a houseful over here. Maybe that's why. ![]() Hope you're keeping well yourself? |
DispatcherLagos:Most exes just move on with other partners and put their past behind them. Some will be too busy raising their families with their current partners to even think about their exes. They only do it in passing and they will likely reside in another part of the world where their paths will never cross. While some will even be friends with their exes. It's only on Nairaland where I see Do you get hurt when you see your exes succeed? |
GIANTPLUSHUB:There are no games here. Most Nigerians will never understand that in saner climes many couples remain civil after a break-up. He probably wants to be near his children. Very normal thing for co-parents to be neighbours. |
DispatcherLagos:Must an ex be hurt? ![]() |
Necrophilia. Are you based in Nigeria? |
Bifwoli:And cults. And killing snakes for soup. And their extreme chauvinism, hiding under the guise of red pill. |
1Sharon:Yes. I have been to China (more than once) so automatically, I have spoken to Chinese people. Beyonce didn't feature in our conversations though. It's common knowledge thickness of whatever kind is not embraced in the East, especially the far East countries. I read an article some years ago about some Chinese or Korean people wondering why Americans fuss over Beyonce whom they felt required to lose weight. 1Sharon:I also don't understand why you feel the need to tell me to deal with it. I'm not arguing against the existence of fat people, neither am I even struggling with my weight. I just asked you a simple question. When does the ugliness creep in on large people? Or simply asked, when do they stop being thick and start being fat? |
Double post.... |
Franktom247:Chopping off people's heads and penisés is more weird. You won't hear of such weird crap in East Africa. |
PetroDolla2020:Ask them. Just navigate to the 'Crime' section of this forum and the stories there will send chills down your spine. Later you'll find some Nairaland members, some of whom are members of their numerous secret satanic societies, claiming that it's other countries with weird stories. I don't know where they get the nerve to diss other countries when there's a full-blown blood bath in Nigeria. |
Omijin:Why should any blogger give you serious news? If a group of policymakers were to meet to discuss socio-economic policies of their respective countries why should it constitute news? They know it's the crappy stuff that bring traffic to their sites. Of course there are many serious stuff going on in African countries. Recently, there were scientists in a forum in Kenya discussing Forest Genetics and Plant Breeding. Do you think news of that particular forum will find its way to Nairaland? It's sickening really what this site has turned into. If Seun was as serious as he used to be when he started out, this forum wouldn't have turned into the crap it is now. Stories of young unruly boys protesting with a coffin is what will find its way into a once-respected site. So annoying. |
Karemarealty288:Kenya does not have incidences of cult members beheading each other and flaunting it online. |
KushLyon:Mad news? Between constant kidnappings, cult killings and beheadings and unruly youth protesting, which news is more mad? You live in Nigeria. You have no right to diss other countries when your own country is on fire. Don't go far. Just peruse through the 'Crime' section of Nairaland and you'll lose your sleep and appetite for days. |
FIFApresident1:Doesn't look good to who? ![]() FIFApresident1:Lol. This is the surest way of being unhappy. |
1Sharon:I don't think that's the bone of contention. You said in your quote that fat makes people ugly, hence my example of Beyonce being gross to the Chinese. Like you, they believe that people with rounder/bigger parts are uglier than the rest. So, when do they get from just being large to being large and ugly? Is it when they get to Rikishi/Yokozuna large that they become ugly? Or Omotola large? Or big thighs Beyonce large? Or as long as they are bigger/rounder than you then it automatically means they're worse looking? At what stage does the ugliness really set in? ![]() |
1Sharon:I don't know what 'fat' is to you. Beyonce and Kim Kardashian are fat in Vietnam, Thailand and China but sexy in America. So I'm guessing they're "ugly" in Asia but hot in America. ![]() Where do you draw the line? |
BRATISLAVA:I don't think people are ugly/beautiful based on their sizes. Like you, I have seen very attractive people who happen to be big in size. Too many in fact. I was only emphasizing that many Same applies to petite people (especially women). People call them "slim", "petite" or "slender" as a compliment but switch to "skinny" or "bony" when they want to body-shame them. At least in this part of the world ("Skinny" will be a compliment in the fashion industry and Hollywood though). I have been both "orobo" and "lepa" and I can tell you that I always knew when someone was complimenting my size, my hips, my arse or indirectly insinuating that I should lose a few pounds or even gain a few pounds in certain areas. Now I'm somewhere in between lepa and orobo and I don't even have the stamina to care anymore. ![]() |
Hintona:I don't know about Nigeria but in many places, "fat" is used to describe an ugly somebody. A woman can have a very pretty face, but if she's fat, even the ugly, slender women will call her ugly. ![]() It's a term that's mostly used to body-shame rather than describe someone. |
This is to the ritualists and organ harvesters in the house. Will any of you explain to this novice how somebody's head can make you rich? ![]() Go into details please. |
