Edusouls: The great deceiver of young women, but she is intelligent enough to get married with kids, while the multitude of women she mislead are out there roaming aimlessly with the mindset of I don’t need a man am a career lady Chimamanda has never discouraged any woman from marriage. People keep saying this but I've followed her for many years, even read 3 of her books, and I'm yet to find any article online where she's speaking against the institution of marriage. Whenever anyone is asked to quote her stating her stance on marriage or singlehood, they just go quiet. She's career-oriented, outspoken, fearless and that should mean that she's against marriage? 4 Likes 2 Shares |

thebosstrevor1: But it is interesting to note that genotype isn't a topic of discussion when dating or marrying in the developed world. It's not just the developed world. I realize this topic tends to feature a lot in Nigeria. Never in my life have I ever met citizens of a country who are constantly discussing AA, AS and SS outside of a Biology class. Of course that's when they aren't discussing the "sad" state of single females, ashawo, olosho, clitocurrency, toto, kpekus, yansh and the likes. Having said that, I fully understand where they're coming from, considering that Nigeria has got the highest rates of Sickle Cell Disease in the continent (and possibly the world). Maybe soon Nigerian citizens will be required to walk around with their health reports as a badge or wrist band. So before you even qualify for a "hello", "hey, how are you?" from a potential partner, they will have prior knowledge of whether they should pursue or dismiss you. |

"Don't marry a woman who has no character." "She's empty inside." "She should go and beg her husband." See how the "logical" gender have become philosophers because of a simple picture. A woman is supposed to take a walk of shame and be depressed after a divorce but alas! This one is taking sexy pictures and ruining the narrative. How dare she? |

Prettydevil: Funny thing is as shallow as i may seem, I’m not even into that appearance shit. I’m so real to myself , if I like a person I can bet my life it’s not because they look good. Beauty means nothing to me, it’s society who are obsessed with beauty that makes people like me talk about it a lot. If people treated me normally and ignored my beauty, I won’t even remember I look good. So pretty much I’m only reacting to how I’m being treated, now I can’t pretend I don’t care because I’m human and how people react to you will get to you at some point. I hear you. |

Crystalom3: lolz.
All I see is self, self, self and more selfs. It's not bad to desire motherhood but raising a child as your source of happiness is bad.
It's not bad to bring forth a child but bringing that child forth when you know the preventable challenges the child will face but instead of preventing such, you still go ahead to bring that child forth is wickedness.
AS and AS parents will love to experience parenthood but we tell them no, not because we are miserable but because we care about the happiness of the kids as well.
Same with Ini. One day that child will be the only one in her group without a father. (not knowing her father is something the society can easily understand, not having a father is an issue Nigeria is not yet ready for.)
Can Ini bear the fallout and the consequences, yes she can. Is it right to put the innocent kid through the same? I'd leave that to you. But personally, I know I won't go through such routes, at least not for now. This woman is in her late 30s for crying out loud. What would you rather have her do? We don't know the arrangement she has with the man. Why should we assume that he'll not be a part of his child's life? |
Celebrities › Re: Ini Edo: My Daughter’s Donor Is Not A Random Person by Farfalla(f): 12:12pm On Dec 08, 2021 |
Crystalom3: of course everyone with an opposing views is miserable.
Who the heck gave y'all this type of reasoning?
Her child will bring her happiness, OK. But what about the child herself? Does anyone take her happiness into account?
Like you, Ini's reason for wanting surrogate is superficial and self-centered. It wasn't about the child but herself.
But hey, it's us who are miserable. At least we are not birthing babies so they can give us happiness What is selfish about wanting to be a mother? Human beings have desires and motherhood was one of Ini's desires. Just as good friendships, good relationships, a fulfilling career, good health and a fulfilling spiritual life bring happiness, children can be a source of happiness too. I should know. What makes you think that she's getting a baby for selfish reasons? Is the desire to raise a child selfish? What would you rather she did? |

Prettydevil: I’m not dating because I haven’t found anyone I like in years. Don't date if you haven't met a girl you like. A relationship only makes sense if you're with someone you desire. I hope your situation further highlights to people that one can actually be single without necessarily being "picky". The only reason you haven't been tagged "picky" or "choosy" is because you're male. Prettydevil: I don’t know what use a girl will even have in my life,......Why do I need a woman? Replace the emboldened words with man and you'll see people shouting feminist up and down. Having said that, I sense that you're shallow as a person and could be attracting shallow girls. Which man gives himself a moniker such as "Prettydevil", and insisting on how much of a pretty face he has? Even Anthony Joshua with all his good looks probably doesn't even obsess about it. Get out of that I-am-a-pretty-boy world and you'll start attracting high value females. |

I was only responding to the poster who stated that young men are usually virile and implied that Tonto could be lying about Churchill's performance. My statement was in relation to that. |
Politics › Re: Precious Chikwendu: I Never Had Sex With Femi Fani-Kayode For 6 Years by Farfalla(f): 11:00pm On Dec 07, 2021 |
IDENNAA: I don't believe Tonto because Churchill is still very young and most likely virile. There are other dynamics surrounding sexual performance in men. Age is just one of them. It's possible to be young and not quite knowledgeable in the art of sex. A young man can lack the ability (or even knowledge) to please a partner. |

Chinwendu added: “At every attempt, the petitioner made to have sexual intercourse with the respondent, there was never erection of the respondent’s penis/manhood and penetration was frustrating.
“During such periods of frustration and sexual desire, the petitioner would be left with the choice of merely rubbing herself on the respondent, to have the slightest bit of relief.

So sad the man had to be violated like that. Even more sad is the way people are making jest of the story. What would a laughing emoji be doing on a rape thread? |
