Oga, remove bmw from that list because obviously you have not driven any one. I have driven 2 models (e36,e46) of it and they are still the most reliable cars i've driven till date. Good fuel economy,65 litres and less lagos to Enugu, AC most of the way, cheap parts. Stop posting crap.

Family / Re: Today's Experience Changed My View On Domestic Violence by Fawklicant: 10:56am On Sep 18, 2017
Evaberry:
very few men are victims of domestic violence. Women always bear the brunt of a man's anger

No matter what a woman says or does, a man should never hit her, a man is physically stronger than a woman so hitting her will inflict serious physical damage, whereas a woman may not cause any real harm to a man.

Op the husband in your write Up should have quietly left the compound and go relax somewhere until he was sure his wife had calmed down. when a woman is angry she throws all reason and caution to the wind, it therefore falls on the man to be understanding and reasonable

Engaging in a fisticuffs with a woman is wrong and should be condemned.

@bolded. Herein lies the problem. People erroneously always think it is the way to go. It only works half the time. A woman who always intimidates you to leave her presence will still come up with more sinister moves. What if the woman doesnt even allow him to leave? A woman that steps into the compound and starts raining insults on her master over a very trivial issue in full glare of neighbours has no regards whatsoever for the man. That kind of woman needs resetting to factory defaults, how you do it is up to you.

Well I'm not that super rich but I'm buoyant enough as God may have it...
To be very precise ....
I started dating this lady not too far from now and it have been moving nicely buh, lately i noticed some change in her attitude since she became very sure that I really love her...

For the past month we discussed about marriage and I told her that I'm going to marry her and truly I want to cos it feels like I CAN'T stay without her.....

But the problem is that since then whenever she's around I don't feel like coming back to my house after work cos all she does is to collect money for this or for that and when I try to tell ha that I don't have she always threatening to break up with me, every time I give her money to buy something that is when everything in the market becomes costly, sometimes I look at her and inmy mind I be lik'e "shey Dis gal no know say I sabi d price of all d things she dy lie abwt''
but I keep cool for the sake of peace...

Abeg can you imagine that a brown powder (Zara) she told she bought for 9k I checked it out and its sold for 3k... since night I haven't talked to her but as usual she's packing her bag now....I know in her mind she's waiting for me to beg her or she leave ......

What do I do FAM .....I truly love her

My brother, this is a no brainer. Free the damn biyatch. She feels she is doing you a favor hence the threats. She would give you nothing but heartache. What's love got to do with it? Love is overrated and CAN BE BOUGHT (as in your case) or earned. I've experienced similar stuff before. I just pretended everything was going downhill, lost my job, given quit notice(even though I got somewhere else furnished and told my landlord I wasnt renewing the rent hence the quit notice). I suddenly didnt have money to give her, call sef na wahala,...well she bolted as expected and I had my peace.

The idea of African women *threatening to leave* their philandering husbands is quite absurd to me. Leave him and then do what? Stay alone or marry another one who is guaranteed to do same?

I'm even talking about habitually cheating women who as girls and women, made a livelihood out of sleeping with different married men (including their bosses at work, lecturers at school, customers in their biz, sugar daddies, 'sponsors', job givers, and other older male benefactors). Now they suddenly want their own husbands to be Snow White angels who wouldn't be 'typical' African men? How the bloody hell does that work?

Na too much films and social media dey worry una. Una never ready to marry. Goan ask your mothers. They know better.

My brother, help me ask them. Too much tv. Girls that have slept with everything under the sun now suddenly want a man all to themselves?

This is so heartbreaking. Some people's conscience have gone to the dogs. What manner of useless policemen are those. The crazy wife of a useless rapist does not know how to pick her battles. Fighting for a crazy horseband who cheated with her with a minor. Some women lose their brains all in the name of keeping a marriage. I pray both of husband and wife meet their waterloo very soon. Worse fate awaits their children, hope they get thrown behind bars while fighting for justice.

What is happening in this case is an extension of nairaland. Afonja vs Igbo. Afonja wife is outraged that the Igbo wife dared to lock up her afonja husband, regardless of what crime he allegedly commited. I wonder where the Igbo husband is in all of this.

No.11...Aim 'at' or aim 'to' both are correct. Aim at refers to a physical target whereas aim to refers to a goal. e.g. He took his aim at the intruder. We aim to set records and achieveable targets.

No.12....Boast has many variants in usage. You can boast 'of', boast 'about'.

No.13...Congratulate 'for' is correct, congratulate 'on' is also correct. Congratulations 'to' is also correct. Usage differs. e.g. I congratulate you 'for' a job well done. I congratulate you on your recent wedding. My congratulations to you for saving the day.

No. 14...Covered with and covered by are correct. e.g. Covered with a cloth. Covered by law.

No.28....live on and live from are correct. As usual, usage matters. e.g. you can live on ten dollars a day or you can live from hand to mouth, you choice.

No. 23...look at you!

And bros, the only people with the H-factor is Yoruba. Igbos have the r-l factor ans some sh-ch factor. So if you hear 'hall and hall' you are definitely listening to a yoruba person.

Mr man long before Okocha played for the national team he was known in Germany as Jay-Jay b b team mates, club fans and football commentators.

Did he carry his brother to Germany with him?

For proof search YouTube for that classic match where Okocha scored a fabulous goal for frankfurt and hear the commentator call him Jay-Jay.

Note Westehoff had yet to invite Okocha to join the super eagles club.

That match in frankfurt is what ma Nigerian press put pressure on westterhoff to invite Okocha whose first match was in '94 against South Africa where he scored a free kick.

Guy I no be small pikin

Oga, Emma his elder brother was the one who brought him to germany for pro football. His elder bro had a club already and was already playing for super eagles then. You don't know anything. The goal you are talking about was with oliver khan. Yes you are a small pikin because you keep insisting on what you know nothing about. That name already had a history with his brother before it was adapted to him.

Lie lie

Papillo came about because of the old school kangol aka papa's cap Kanu used to wear off field those days The name was not given to him by fellow team-mates but by Nigerian football fans.

Jay-Jay was a nickname Okocha picked when he was with frankfurt FC and it was from his fellow German team mates who said Okocha looked like Jay-Jay from the 80's comedy sitcom "Good Times".

Useless bloggers

Oga don't say what you don't know. Jay Jay was his elder brother's nickname which later rubbed off Austin. Do you even know what Jay Jay from good times looked like? There's no way okocha looks like him.

Eating meat last in a meal is not a Yoruba thing.
It is an African thing lol, and it is mostly because meat is expensive! grin
So it is mostly just a matter of how rich a family is.

It is also a test of patience and will. A child who'll eat his meat first is likely to engage in malfeasance, at least that is the general thinking. It shows that the child is impatient and has zero chill and disregard for established order.

Asides the name thing, most other cultures in Nigeria practice the others.

I can't take a case to him. Imagine him saying that hearing from the other side is against his better judgement
Does he try his cases online for cheap popularity and to garner support in the court of public opinion? To what end?
Anyways, once his cases go to trial, he'll desist from any further social media party.
