I go to the market at least five times a week and i know what's happening. Everyday, there's an increase in prices of foodstuffs. I mean every fuccking day!!

Just imagine a full frozen chicken and 3pieces of turkey wings now sell for 900naira each!! A loaf of bread goes for between 250naira to 500naira depending on the size.

I can't be very angry buying these foodstuffs and you expect me to come to nairaland and shout "God bless Buhari"

What you don't understand is very simple, when you're in a relationship with a guy and you don't ask him for anything he doesn't have right to ask you for sex. Immediately you ask him for anything, he then have reasons to ask you or touch you.

As much as it is tempting to congratulate you for your maturity as others here have done, I WONT! Pardon me for being pessimistic here, but what you have done here appears to me like window dressing to assuage your ego! Whatever apologies you are getting from your inlaws is just to save themselves from the shame and to save the marriage NOW. If it has to end, it has to end on thier own terms, at least that's how I feel they see it. Everybody in her family knows the one little secret that was meant for both of you(lost testicle) and no one in your family is allowed to know of the betrayal?

Sensible inlaws who have your(you and wife) interests at heart would reach out to your parents themselves and bring them in the know, since they are already friendly and seem to have 'immense' respect for each other, at least your father feels that way. That way issues would be in the open and resolved with each party berated accordingly. Mature inlaws settle issues like this all the time and from what you have said about your mum, she is mature and wise as exemplified in her relationship with your wife.

Right now, you are all alone but you do not know it yet. Your parents will not always be there. Forgiveness is a strong trait which should be given freely but tactfully. You do not just forgive because someone says sorry, you forgive when there is genuine repentance. For the simple fact that her family doesnt want your family to know is enough sign that the remorse is only coming because they were caught, not because they are truly sorry. You cannot rebuild what has'nt been destroyed. If you brought in your family and hers into the picture at the same time, everybody would be pained, but with your resolve to forgive and your mum and dad's wisdom, the healing would have come naturally but stronger and everybody would be better off because true remorse would have been shown not this.

You need to start seeing the big picture. Hating on others won't get you anywhere. I've followed your comments a few times and I must say that it is unbecomming of a budding artist. These artists use NL so also do their agents. You don't know where your sign--on could come from. That said, you do not seem to know how the music business works and you want to be in it.

You do not delay an artist's shine, it is like surfers' wave. You ride it while the tide is high. Davido doesn't want another D'banj-Goodmusic saga amd he is just being smart about it. His methodology thoughh could be improved. These Labels snatch budding talents and freeze those talents by way of delays. They wont release any single, nor would they drop any album. Have you seen Davido stay this long without at least a serious collabo? These labels have a retinue pf artists/.deals to focus on and a budding African artist who is yet to make a major mark in western markets may not be top on their priority. If not for selfishness and shortsightedness, our labels could do better.
A comsortium of labels could be formed to help market and manage our artists so that when these foreign labels come, they meet an organised structure and negotiate with the consortium. Anyways, that topic is too big for me to expand on this thread. This post is to address your folly and shortsightedness.

Davido needs to thread carefully on this one. D'banj's case should always serve as a reference point for young artists. Sony--BMG is more like the biggest label and exposure to their market is a cemented retirement plan.
