PoliticsRe: Anambra Guber Polls: Who Shall We Send? Who Shall Go For Us? by feelamong(m): 8:47am On Oct 18, 2013
You guys are really funny ...

we are asking for the man that will get the job done and people are talking about Igbo party and other arrant nonsence...

Ngige has been there and tested! He needs to go and get the job done..

Peter Obi was there for 8 years..what do we have to show for his affiliation to the center? A gigiantic shopping mall at Abuja and a brewery in Onitsha for us to get drunk and not see him looting!

Moreover why bring up the same issue that has kepyt Nigeria down all these years..'Zoning and Federal Character' We do not want any of such in Anambra..we are a hard working people that thrive on our 'enterprise and hardwork'.. not on being handed favours due to zoning and other rubbish!

I believe that our people are wise enough..we have rejected Godfatherism in the past and am sure we shall reject it once again!

Ndi be anyi ekelem unu!!!

At this point we even need more scrutiny on the so called 'good works' she is doing in our Airports!

lets see how the bidding for the jobs were done and at what cost these Airports are to the tax payers..

collinsobinna: @feelamong:read on businessday, that this recent sale was higher than the previous.though they didnt state the rates.

Well I wanted to know what's your take on BA(bankers acceptances) versus t bills

And I m worried that sanusi leaving office soon could trigger change in policies and stop the FG s dependence on tBills

Sanusi was quoted as saying that if interest rates will get to fourty percent to stop inflation, that he won't mind.

Seems the inflation is favoring us and the country s declining income is.

"Feeling awkward, belonging to the rich get richer club".
Personally I dont think the rates are going higher...There was a time when i invested in Tbills and got up to 14% for 91 days.

Its unfortunate that the govt is willing to pay so much so stop inflation...If only we have some level of fiscal discipline from the executive arm of govt!
I really wonder why the govt (CBN) is willing to give me 10.% for my money where as the banks are not willing; meanwhile my money is safer with CBN..

As for Bankers Acceptances, from my knowledge of this, its an off balance sheet item for banks; where they collect money from people on behalf of those that actually need the money and only guarantee the return of the money back to the investors..

Ess: My broker was like that until I started giving him some mathematical equations with equality symbols thus:

if x is less than or equal to y then buy, else ignore.
if x is greater than or equal to y then sell, else ignore.
my y is normally the closing price of yesterday or less/more depending on buy/sell mandate. x being the buy or sell price.

This has been working as I always get results, keeps me wondering why he never bothered to put in my interest in the business before!
Chai!! You are a wicked man! grin

so becos of say you wan buy N2,000 worth of stocks you give your broker assignment to do!

shymexx: Why's the bar closed today?

Why can't we close it permanently since people die everyday?

Why do we have to close it because a corrupt politricktian died twice?

Why can't we do the same for ordinary hard-working Nigerians?

Why don't we treat all humans as equal regardless of the social status and background?

And why do I want to chat to Lilimax today?

Why? Why? Why?
Hmmmm food for thot! thats why i love hanging around beer bars....you get a lot of philosophical quotes there!

That money is small money.. if only the govt wants to be sincere..

How much did the govt/CBN print to bail out the banks when Sanusi came on board?

How much did the got use to pay for the Presidential jets that are parked most times in the airports?

How much did the govt spend on the Armnesty programme?

How much have been spent on Fuel subsidy for those fraudulent importers?

Ok if there is no money at hand; what stops the govt from going to the capital market to raise funds via a bond?

if they can raise funds for other things why cant they raise funds from the capital market for Education?

it just shows how we take education in this country....mchweeeeeee!!! angry

Okija_juju: Lol...

Dont mind me.. I no sabi how to collect credit for my life. Even to borrow money from person sef, I no fit exceot in extreme circumstances.

But in fairness to my company, they have been paying me o! Just say I had a salary increase in March after I was transfered to Lagos. But they have been paying me based on my old rate because they want us to re-negotiate.. grin They want to start deducting 'Income Tax' & 'Local Content Levy' from my salary and me I have told them that I will not pay a cent of my money to nobody in the name of taxes... grin So we have been in that stalemate since March. But I will be discussing with them Today sha to finalize everything so that they will pay me all my backlog at once with this months salary. grin

The only problem is that I just paid my house rent in Lagos and the thing crippled me badly... I never go jollificate in a while now. After work, I go just go house, go sleep.

But as soon as salary land, I will take you on a shopping spree to Ibari Ogwa.. grin
Anything you want, na point-and-kill..
