What President Tinubu needs now is not any broad AGENDA. We have gone past that stage. Even those broad stuff in Renewed Hope Manifesto haven't help anybody. He needs practical ideas to develop specific policies and programs to tackle specific problems especially economic. That's what is lacking. Meanwhile, this is wishing all Nairalanders a merry Christmas. |

First, I must admit that Godwin Emefiele didn't cover himself in glory as CBN governor. For the pursuit of 2nd term in office, he lobbied some demons especially from Northern part of the country and fell for all kinds high-risk compromises and manipulations that are legally traceable to only him as CBN governor. The truth is that the ordinarily TAME Godwin Emefiele wouldn't have had the balls to navigate outside the official borders if members of the cabals and the manipulative demons didn't make a toy of him. He behaved like the favorite slave of his master. Worst of all, they used him against Tinubu as a candidate. Now, he is abandoned and suffering alone. President Tinubu should boldly look beyond Emefiele to recover the looted money. This is not saying Emefiele didn't dip his hands in the cookie jar. |

For every empire that rises, a fall awaits. Every story, beautiful or not, comes to an end. It has been so since the beginning of time. Brothers and sisters, Nyesom Wike's ACTIVE political career is inevitably nearing its end. This is how the cookies crumble. Pray for Wike to accept a unfavorable situation he can't change. ![]() Do have a merry Christmas! |
LegendHero:My opinion is not about protocol or whether the governor is sitting or standing. No! It is about ITINERARY. It is about the governor sitting IDLY in that mosque not participating in prayers instead of making a better itinerary arrangement to do something else useful while the president does his religious obligation. The governor is NOT a security man to keep watch over the president while he is praying. |

There could have been better itinerary arrangement for an executive governor of a megacity than sitting idly and watching the president pray like an ordinary aide. With the slow motion and lack of direction that this government is exhibiting at the moment, Simon Lalong knows that the best decision is to be a Senator rather than being part of the Executive. Yes, he was one of the people who championed the birth of this administration but may be he is disappointed with how things are turning out presently. |
Too much grammar. If you have a plan, start implementing it. Simple! I don't understand the current state of inertia in policy conceptualization and implementation. No sense of urgency. Sad. |
scutches:But Amuneke was NEVER among the people who voted. |
Yayi don start campaign be dat. He obviously sponsored this poll and equally pushing it in the media. |
Our own star boy! If you understand how tough the career prospect of a typical young Nigerian grassroot football player is, you will appreciate how CRUCIAL the moment Emmanuel Amuneke chose him over other strikers in camp was. Little wonder he recognized Amuneke's role in his acceptance speech in spite of a video that was mischievously circulated before the award. I wanted to say: now let's go get the African Cup of Nations but then I remembered that we have Peseiro as coach and his brother Uzoho as goalkeeper. ![]() |
From past experience, any sudden scheme to isolate a problem for solution through UNBUNDLING and sale to PRIVATE SECTOR means that the sitting president or governor already has some front in the background waiting to pounce as PREFERRED BUYER. Recall that Goodluck Jonathan unbundled NEPA and sold DISCOs and GENCOs to party members who have made marginal investment since takeover in flagrant flouting of terms of sale contract. Now, another bundling is about to be done instead of dragging the DISCOs and GENCOs to court to abide by the investment commitment they pledged to do as conditions for purchase. |

The summary of what former President Goodluck Jonathan said is that Nigeria has moved from being the giant of Africa to being the snail of Africa. One thing is certain, Goodluck Jonathan has a hand in this sad and negative development. |
It is difficult to pray effectively if there is no plan to pray about except taxation, duties and removal of subsidies. One needs clarity on what the prayer points would be. |
Looks like scatter gun approach at the moment. There is so much lack of direction in governance. 6 months after swearing in, so many travels with large delegation NO clear economic plan to revitalize the ailing economy. Huge disappointment. |
One fact of life is that practice of law is not about justice but about two lawyers getting paid to have fun exploiting the technical loopholes in the laws of the land to impress the judge. |
Using extra-electoral tactics to steal Kano State and perhaps Zamfara State will surely backfire in 2027. The current bastardization of the little progress we have made democratically will come with consequences. |
