Shalommy:Leave Portable and his ways. Don't sleep about him. The force propelling him is different. He has his peculiar ways and he will always remain on top of water las las. ![]() |
First, it is actually difficult to link the heading to the content of Atiku's tweet. Have read it several times. Second, Atiku's inability to convince a candidate in that Borno State APC senatorial primaries to spearhead that court action showed that either he is conserving his money or his political juice as a versatile horse-trading politician has gone down too low. It also shows how weak PDP has become as a political force. It left Supreme Court with no other alternatives. |
Conspiracy theories give some people oxygen to exist. ![]() |
uchman:Look, unless the the court rules or force majeure happens, Tinubu will be sworn in on May 29 as president and one of former Senators including Akpabio, Kalu, Yari, etc. will be elected Senate President by other senators. Thereafter, governance begins and all I can do is wish Nigeria and Nigerians the best in terms of development. If you have another ideas of what to do tell me. |
VULCAN:You prayed this same prayer for Buhari to die. What is the outcome today? Devil incarnate! |
I am not Sen. Godswill Akpabio's fan but I make bold to say that if President Tinubu has a good vision backed with good policies, programs and reforms , Senate President Godswill Akpabio will be of great help given his development-mindedness as a governor. However, he will be useless in fighting corruption through legislative oversight functions and will likely settle for his cuts. But since Angels won't come down from heaven to lead us, we are stuck with our corrupt politicians. Therefore, we can only pray and push for policies, programs and reforms that will at least revive the economy to make it more productive to make millions of Nigerians earn legitimate living and also give our country more revenue to run its affairs without borrowing. May God help Emilokan Bola Tinubu to succeed because failure will be too costly. |
Are you sure Seun Kuti won't come out a born-again from this travail? God calls come in diverse ways. You never know... |
Nigeria is dire need of a leadership that will make the economy more productive. President Bola Tinubu after inauguration will have four years to show a clear vision as well as good policies and programmes. One thing I know is that President Bola Tinubu won't get 2nd term if his 1st term failed to be impressive. No amount of political realignments will save him. Recruiting Kwakwanso and sacrificing loyal allies won't save him. What will save is good performance in office. He won't be as lucky as Buhari because Nigerians especially the electorally majority youth are becoming politically aware and highly intolerant of bad leadership. |
Mayflowa:Too many movies, I guess. ![]() |
Seun Kuti doesn't have any hit song or do many shows in Nigeria to make money. His main source of income is 'foreign currencies' made from music festivals organised during summer across European cities where he mostly play his Fela's songs. This detention order, any further detention order or worst still getting a judge to order Seun to surrender his international passport to avoid flight will be bad for business. If Femi Falana with all his connections struggles to get a 'temporary relief' for him to attend these festivals, then be sure Seun will be poorer because he slapped a cop. Not looking good for Seun at the moment but like death and taxes, summer is sure to happen every year and so, yeah, not the end of world for Seun. Hope dey! |
First, Seun Kuti put himself in the 'den' of police. He set himself up for this persecution. He had his 'cowboy' show on the road and now, the cops are having their shenanigans in their 'den'. They will test his patience and try to provoke him to behave violently to be recorded on video. Second, Seun Kuti should remain calm and humble as long as this lasts because he badly needs this course in the University of Hard Knocks. He needs it to know the dangers of unnecessarily getting angry at the least provocation. Come to think of it, the more you watch that assault video, the more you think about what Seun Kuti's wife and domestic aides go through in his hand. Nothing justifies jumping out one's car and slapping and assaulting another person on the road because he bumped your car. Now imagine Seun Kuti bumping into your car and you getting out to slap and assault him like he did to that police officer. Seun no go gree until he has the last say. Third, Seun Kuti often sounds too superficially hot-headed as a social critic. He has the Intellectual/philosophical content but his hot-headedness needs to be tempered. This travail will help him. The reality is that every true social radical tries to stand on the side of the law because being on the wrong side gives the government or the politicians you criticize the golden opportunity to cow you. Fourth, he also needs to know that drug use can make you ride a tiger. Riding that tiger landed in the hot detention cell. This is an opportunity to learn. |
It is their payback time. |
Why is he looking down? Is he crying? ![]() Does he think the Villa is father's house? Come on, comot there jorrrrrrrr! ![]() |
Kabiyesiooooo! |

Sad! F*cking sad! |
Nsonaso:I am his fan. Just search a little on the Internet. It is not a secret. |
Saint Obi was having a flourishing acting career until his desire to marry a financially strong woman led him to marry one stone-hearted woman who was a senior executive in telecom industry and who happens to come from a wealthy family. At the end of the day, money Saint Obi no see. Rather, having fathered some children, Saint Obi was thrown out of his home and his children taken far away from him. Consequently, Saint Obi's fight against this woman and her strong family took a toll on him and the rest is history. I don't know why his friends are speaking in parables instead of saying things as they are to honour his memory. Lesson: Sometimes, money is not everything. May his soul rest in peace, Amen. |
nams77:I am not APC man. |
BRIMBRAM:People apportion blame because certain people who were elected or entrusted as well as paid well to provide certain tangible and intangible infrastructure failed. Consequently, making the environment inconducive and negatively disrupting and in some cases uprooting the platforms on which NECESSARY processes that engender creativity and entrepreneurship revolve. In situations like this, even coming out of your comfort zone might entail misapplying one's talent to something illegal to survive. Then, the same inefficient system gets you into its inefficient justice system and completely kill you. |
BRIMBRAM:Creatives whether inventive or literary as well as entrepreneurs need excellent environment to flourish. Nigeria at the moment favours politicians and their aides as well as scammers, drug dealers, etc. Musicians and actors are grinding rather than 'vibing' as it should be. |
You wonder why Guinness Book of Records achievement is celebrated like this then it hits you that Nigerians thirst for real national heroes with global accomplishments but the environment discourages true heroic accomplishments in favour of political and street scammers. We need a revolution in all spheres of our national life. We need to raise the f*cking bar real high. We need to! |
There is nothing spectacular about putting cop slapper Seun Kuti on cuffs because he showed tendencies to go off the handle and unleash violence. In advanced countries, MUG PICTURES are taken and issued after a PERP WALK held. Come to think of it, the more you watch that assault video, the more you think about what Seun Kuti's wife and domestic aides go through in his hand. Whoever tries to justify jumping out one's car and slapping and assaulting another person on the road because he bumped his car into yours is stupid. Nobody is above mistake. How about being civil first before applying 'Lagos road confrontation style'. Imagine Seun Kuti bumping into your car and you getting out to slap and assault him he did to that police officer. Seun no go gree until he has the last say. |
What has gone wrong with Nigerians. We need to raise the bar. If we are celebrating Guinness Book of World Records stuff like this, what happens when one of us goes to the space? I mean, come on, there are many young Nigerians who have developed world-acclaimed apps without this kind of noisy celebration. Let's raise the bar higher abeg. |
Recently, Nigerian Police has acted against its officers and men that assaulted citizens as recorded and circulated. Looks like NP will use Seun Kuti as counterbalancing case to compensate the police personnel. Seun Kuti needs to lobby fast because it doesn't look good for him currently. Unfortunately, all these insensitive remarks are not helping Seun's case. |
If you are doing one kain business, you need one kain connection to keep going. Emoney is securing the bag. ![]() |
This dude Portable seems to enjoy bountiful grace. So many obstacles on his way including self-destruct obstacles but some force seems to keep pushing him forward as to say "hey, Portable, you must be successful in this life". And please don't come telling me that Portable is not worthy of enjoying grace like your Davido or Tems is because that's BS. God is for everyone and what is written is written. |
No music album is perfect. No album is black and white. There is always grey coloration in there. So I don't expect Davido's album to be. Again, people's reactions or rather appreciation of the songs in any music album differ according knowledge of music, taste, intellect, and how you personally like the artiste. So the critique of any creative work is never objective. In as much as critically reviewing a creative work is allowed but downright demarketing like the post has done is wicked. |
