Delectable Tiwa Savage. Beautiful dress. Electric performance. |
Any political group that wants to drive change of political order in a democracy MUST tolerate contrary opinions, voices of dissent and acts of opposition. The current Nigeria democracy is no doubt benefiting from highly active and youthfully vociferous opposition that Obi-dients provide. However, their lack of tolerance to slight deviation of opinions is TOXIC and DANGEROUS. This negative attitude will always be RESISTED by every true intellectual. The reason is very simple: intellectualism and flow/exchange of ideas flourish when every shade of opinion is heard. Intellectual abhor herd mentality. So when intellectuals like Prof Soyinka, Prof. Soludo and others like them stoutly detest and vehemently counter Obi-dients and their lack of tolerance, you will appreciate where they are coming from. Change of tactics needed and I am happy Peter Obi himself is leading the way. |
The legendary Police College Ikeja needs transformation too. |
Happy birthday beautiful Genny baby! |
Wilson Oruma is looking good and this means he has moved on from the loss of life saving to scammers. That's a good news because it is not easy. May God bless whatever he is doing to bear much fruits. Amen |
My honest assessment of Abike Dabiri's first tenure as NIDCOM Chairman is 70%. She did not just fight for the establishment of NIDCOM, she started it off successfully and effectively without any precedents to follow. She braved all odds in her way, going about her job with sense of passion, bullishness and adventure. She isn't a diplomat but she refused to be cowed by career diplomats in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who tried to shout her down into submission. Fortunately, she has the support of the president., which is good a thing for a new agency. She poked her nosed into every issue that concern Nigerians abroad devoid of diplomatic correctness and in doing so brought such issues to the social media sometimes in a non-polished manner or prematurely. Naturally, this has often put her in the eye of the storm and she has also sometimes reacted with a sense of frustration or being under-appreciated. But we must accept, hitherto, those issues she brought to the Social Media were kept under the radar by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. So, I believe she deserves some credit for communicating updates in line with her journalistic background. For example in the current Sudan case, Ministry of Disaster Management is running the show as opposed to even the Ministry of Foreign Affairs but Abike Dabiri in her passion 'shook her head' in there, communicating updates that exposed some organisational blunders. I am sure her fellow woman who is Minister of Minister of Natural would be loathing her for poke nosing but that's Abike for you, doing her job. Unfortunately, she is the one being hit by the unsatisfied Nigerians instead of the Minister. Of course, there is a large room for improvement but in my personal opinion, Abike Dabiri deserves a second tenure. |
onuman:You have State governors and LGA chairmen. |
Maobichek:I did my NYSC in Safana Katsina State. |
2paid2Bmad:Just an innocent advice. |
correctguy101:Not necessarily wrapper but a stylish gele won't hurt. |
Maobichek:You must be a member of Kwankwasiya movement. |
Almunjid:King of England is ceremonial. Emirs are not as they. Do a little research. |
This is big for Tiwa Savage, Afrobeats, Nigerian female artistes and Nigeria. Make she put on better gorgeous African clothes instead of some skimpy 'rags'. |
NothingDoMe:They do a lot along with their district heads and you will never appreciate unless you are a northerner. |
NothingDoMe:Four overdressed men would attend to more issues than one overdressed man was doing. Besides, the multi emirates are nearer to the people and therefore they don't have to spend much money and time to have to travel to present matters arising at the palaces. |
Dr. Sanusi knows better than being a 'guinea pig' in the hands of politicians. The new multiple emirates are better than having one emirate with just one overdressed man overseeing an unnecessarily large emirate. |
These are top-drawer pieces of advice that would help President Tinubu to remain focused and work for Nigerians. Most important is the issue of removal of petroleum subsidy. It is a keg of gun powder that must be handled with care to avoid the country collapsing in economic and political turmoil leading ultimately to the military taking over to restore order. The ideal thing will be to first, revitalize this ailing economy before the removal of petroleum subsidy. A word is enough for the wise. |
It is in the best interest of all Nigerians that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu does well as president. Anything to the contrary will be a tragedy. This country doesn't have the luxury of time to afford any more leadership failure. May God give him the good health, wisdom, excellent ideas and strong political will needed to take Nigeria away from current sorry situation to pathway of prosperity. May he resist the negative lure of ethnicism and rise above the dark art of vengefulness in governance. God bless Nigeria! |

Sometimes, CATCHING CRUISE comes with consequence. |
Politicians are fast extending their 'satanic' influence to Catholic Church in Nigeria. I am sure this is a sponsored unnecessary write-up and the only reason for it is that there must be a bishop who is due for retirement or creation of a new diocese is about to take place. And for all you care, this could be Adams Oshiomole laying ground works to try Benue State experiment with Rev. Father Andrew Obinyan. |
Untidy organization but we move. |
The official president-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu doing well as president is in the best interest of all Nigerians. Anything to the contrary will be a tragedy. This country doesn't have the luxury of time to afford any more leadership failure. lexy2014:Reminding you that I am dealing with fellow human beings, in case you have forgotten. |
I just hope that Tinubu used this period he was away to develop home-grown and functional strategies to make our economy productive. Hope he will hit the ground running after swearing-in to revitalize this ailing economy before the removal of petroleum subsidy. Any other thing will be a TRAGEDY! |
The babe is pretty. |
Maintenance culture is always the problem. |
It is simply the same old DIVIDE and RULE tactic that politicians use every election period to achieve their selfish interests. They know human beings are emotional beings so every election, they employ tribal and religious sentiments to cover their poor performance in office and looting of public funds. While people helplessly fight themselves over these sentiments, they cleverly win elections to continue poor performance and looting. At the end of the day, it is just a case of a dog chasing its tail. |
I have a strong feeling that the 'principality' who is beating drum to which Binani is dancing is determined to pull the the rug off Atiku feet. He is loaded and he fights like a mad man. If you know, you know. |
