I have friends & acquaintances who have used and are using both phones. The Bold 5 9900/9930 is one of the most beautiful phones made by RIM, & it is also one of the MOST DEFECTIVE. Very prone to developing problems such as caller not hearing you, phone not ringing out, red light staying on e.t.c. This is based on experience from friends. When we went online to seek help via google, we discovered that the problem was actually widespread, as in worldwide, and as at then, no one could find a solution for it. For the ringer not sounding, battery pull is just a temporary solution.lol. A friend used to count himself lucky for not having problems with his bold 5 until recently, when he startd experiencing one of the ones i mentioned above. He sold it ASAP & got a Bold 6 (9790) The torch 2 is also not without its problems, but i think it has much less factory defects, & many people (as far as i know) are still happily using theirs till date. I think you should also consider the Bold 6, tho the screen is smaller than d bold 5, the phone is sleek & seems durable so far. |

Guys, I posted a comment on the GEJ seeks feedback thread & that comment will serve as my opening post here. Insult-free intelligent responses will be appreciated. Pro GEJ, I welcome you guys. Please present your views on this & give us reasons to believe the power improvement will be permanent. Anti GEJ, Pro-Good governance: Please let us present our views on this topic and also engage the Pro - GEJs constructively. Anti GEJ for no concrete reason: Please move on to another thread. Thanks After some months (especially after September), we can come here to compare notes with what will obtain then & what was said here. My comment reproduced below: Well, all i know ( & if most of us can recall) is that in the few months preceding the elections, power supply in the country improved greatly. This improvement started to decline IMMEDIATELY AFTER ( seriously, less than 2 days after the results were announced) the PRESIDENTIAL elections which led many people to start asking where the light came from. I believe some people were even making crazy (?) insinuations that powerful generators were imported to beef up power stations.lol Now, very shortly after the House of reps threatened impeachment, we have begun to see this same improvement again (yes, it has indeed improved in my locale), but the question is this: Is this GENUINE improvement or the same MAGOMAGO 'VOTE-FOR-ME, I AM PERFOMING' improvement that we witnessed before the elections last year? While the improvement may actually be genuine & lasting (hopefully), there's no point deceiving ourselves; there are some very decietful powerful elements in this government. Time will tell. To Uncle Barth & Uncle Jonathan, Abeg, after September, make una no reduce power output again o, coz apparently, the oil cabal that put you people into power are already losing money, & I'm sure they'll be unhappy about that. However it is imperative that you not be impeached so we know you know they know that losing this money is for the greater good. Please kindly notify them to be prepared to continue losing more forever. They should feel free to divest their interests in diesel to other sectors like Agriculture. I'm sure you, Uncle Jonathan will assist them in this regard to ensure they make a lot of money (tho hopefully this time, not at the expense of Nigerians). *Its no longer a secret that Nigerians have DELIBERATELY been kept in darkness all these years just so some people can be feeding fat on sales of PMS & diesel* |

Acidosis: We all know the truth now. It was said that the main target of these politicians was a top local government worker in Okene L.G.A who happens to be a Christian and a devoted member of Deeper Life Church. They actually wanted to kill him because he refused them a huge amount of bribe. Thank God He's still alive today because he was able to escape from the premises on time. You see am! So thugs were hired to go and massacre the worshippers + their intended target in bokoharam style, so as to provide a perfect cover for their crime & deflect attention from them, not minding the attendant religious crisis implications Guys, we r getting more enlightened each day. I still assert that MOST of the killings & bombings in d north are strictly for political purposes. These guys want to cause trouble. I wonder how we find it difficult to believe our politicians (even the few honest ones among them), but when one Abubakar Shekau says his aim is to islamize Nigeria (as if that is in any way possible), we believe him wholeheartedly. As to the recurrent question as to why churches are mostly the targets in the north, the answer is pretty obvious & quite simple for those who are open minded - to pit christians against muslims. Frankly, in my opinion, i believe the real bokoharam died with Yusuf in 2009. The death was properly sealed with the killing of his younger brother last year after OBJ's visit. What we have now are thugs and killers, trained and well educated, who are carrying out this dastardly acts for political gains (or sympathy) & simply conveniently labelling themselves bokoharam, and using the ''islamize Nigeria'' theme as a perfect tool for their divide and rule tactics. Recall that these guys change their theme at will, from no western education to fighting police for killing ''thier'' leader, to fighting govt, to sharia, & now to GEJ should convert & resign. Like seriously, are they confused? Obviously YES. But i still believe God loves this country, & these killings will soon end, & oh, did I forget to mention that I dont forsee Nigeria dividing? Ok, i'm mentioning it now. Lol Think people!!! |
This is what the current generation Ford Explorer wishes it was The two rides kinda look alike exteriorly, especially the shape of the lights.Luvly ride, but despite the seeming increase in length, i won't be surprised if 3rd row seating is still not available...... Like the RR wasnt designed as a family SUV.lol |

Can our Mod please hide these long and unnecessary off-topic posts? Hmmm....interesting topic. My view : The Camry 2007 was a HUGE upgrade, wonderful difference from the 2002-2006 model years. So, we were expecting something very refreshing for the 2012 model, so in my view, the 2012 camry, tho not so bad, is BELOW expectation, the exterior especially. The interior is cool, dashboard & steering lovely (especially on the XLE models with navigation). The steering on the xle model looks like a game pad.lol. But its a toyota camry, and even if it looks like the first generation Volks beetle, people, Nigerians o, americans o, will still buy it. But having seen the 2013/2014 new generation Honda Accord, someone's posted d pic here (the rear looks like the 2014 E-class), mehn, I pity Toyota. That car is way way finer than the Camry & i expect it to sell much more units, even here in Nigeria where we ''worship'' the Camry. |

Beync: point of correction, kidnappers and ritualist do not fight for christians.& who are the imams that are sympathising with them and giving them a place of heaven? Please attempt to justify that point. This is an insult to the memory of the islamic clerics who have been felled by bokoharam for speaking against them. Keep choosing what to believe and ignore. Na u sabi. |
lacasa: Funny comments i'm seeing here. |
Pukkah: No casualties whatsoever in any mosque attack? You are wrong.Thank you for this o!!!! We like to have selective amnesia when it suits us. That said, frankly, I still do not see how Nigeria dividing is the solution, honestly, even if is is, it is a solution that in the long and short run, will cause more problems for us. this country is not too big for someone to effectively handle, except that person has his own hidden agenda which the current unrest might be favouring, hence the reluctance/inability to devise and implement a lasting solution. |
teminoni: There have been reported threats on mosques, including shootings and bombings, but I have not heard of any casualties what so ever. The muslim worshipers are always saved by one mysterious obstacle or 'premature' explosion before getting to the mosque.I tend to agree more with the bolded. The same people attacking the mosques are still the same people attacking the churches. And a few days into ramadan, there was a shootout beside/ around a mosque and i think there were 2 casualties or so. the news was here on Nl. OBVIOUSLY, these BH guys are not in any holy period which still brings to question, their religion (not saying they are xtians o), & their supposed motives for this attack. As far as i am concerned, I stand with the bolded part of your post. that much should be getting clearter with each passing day. And again, i still believe these guys are not Nigerians, especially the suicide bombers. In Chad, Somaia, Mali, you can easily find people who have no reason to live, and who do not value their own lives, talkless of others coz of what they've been through. And our borders are very porous, & the BH sponsors obviously have lots of money and technology at their disposal. The typical hausa man may live modestly, but they like to enjoy life abeg. Despite sharia, they still drink alcohol, gamble, and have other vices the average yoruba or igbo man (no offence to my hausa brothers). Some can be violent, no doubt, but suicide bombing? i no think say e reach dat one yet.lol These BH guys are footsoldiers and mercenaries, hired hands, brought into this country to cause chaos, and they are providing an excuse for it under religion (which is making their job of causing confusion easier). The sponsors must have studied the last election results and realized just how easy it is to divide Nigerians based on tribe and religion. Thats just my take, and yeah, i may be wrong. Some tactical approach is really needed to stem this tide coz its spiralling out of control already. Even GEJ has stopped saying he's "ontop of the situation", though really, he should actually be. |
Prices reduced to clear the items. order yours now. when new items come in, they might be a bit more expensive o ![]() |
jcross19: where is your brain, from what you quoted I don,t see where the neighbour is an infidel in that verse you quoted in thesame quran is forbidden to friend an infidel so please you can go to muslims nation where they have a few non muslims and tell them to treat non muslims citizen in their land to have thesame rightLol! Obviously, you cannot read properly. If you can read, you cannot understand. & that is understandable. I know your type. |
I'm resurrecting this thread on purpose. I knew it would be ignored by people who keep screaming that muslim leaders havnt condemned BH. & i will keep ressurecting it no matter how hard people push their noses up at it & pretend like their eyes were not working immediately they viewed the topic. Lol. |
pembisco: point of corectn! Your allah neva comanded u 2 lv ur nebo,ur nebo culd be a xtian nd ur allah commanded jihad on non muslems, say let d non muslems fynd hardness in u,dts ur greatest comandment u rememba?Issorite. I like you thats y i'm still responding, partly because ur user name reminds me of Biscao biscuit which i used to love in secondary school & even after . Normally, i ignore arguments where my opposin partner has views similiar to yours.Bro, visit this link, open your mind, & please spend just 5minutes of your time on the page. www.ezsoftech.com/stories/mis40.asp Excerpt from the link above: The neighbor holds a special status in Islam. Islam encourages Muslims to treat their neighbors in a gentle way that reflects the true and genuine spirit of Islam as exemplified in its tolerant aspect especially with people of other faiths. It makes no difference whether the neighbors are Muslim or non-Muslim. Ayesha, the Mother of the Believers, stated that she once asked Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! I have two neighbors. To whom shall I send my gifts?" Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "To the one whose gate is nearer to you." It is clear from the above Prophetic Hadith that Muslims are encouraged to not only treat our neighbors kindly, but also to exchange gifts with them. The wording of the Hadith does not indicate whether the one with whom we exchange gifts is a Muslim or not. |
pembisco: ask urslf dis qxtn! Y wuld ameachi threathen xtians in dt manner? as if its d xtians dt ar knw 4 violence! He shuld be threathening to arrest d muslems since its ther brodas dt ar killing pple here in north, he threathen them so dt they wunt evn tink of folowin ther brodas futsteps nd nt d oda way roundSee, you are not getting it. The earlier we separate people from religion, the better. Get it into your head, the same way we have violent people aamong muslims is the same way we have violent people among xtians. It would be unwise of Amaechi to start threatenin muslims who have done nothing wrong. Rather its expedient to warn xtians(the intolerant and hypocritical ones & not the peaceful ones) now not to harass muslims coz apparently, some hostility is already being shown towards them. How many muslims have you seen endorsing the killings carried out by their ''brothers'' up north? |
