Thanks for this reply, I have also been following and i've brought polystyrene from Teewhy2 and used on our Ikoyi site - where i totally disagree with happney65 is what you have highlighted in your reply above.

attached is a picture from Bengaluru's Mantri Mall after the CONCRETE PARAPET WALL collapsed - should I then advice everyone to stay away from concrete parapet?

We should NOT be mislead....

That's the kind of society we find ourselves ,no time to do research and investigations on a subject matter and people go on out spewing rubbish.
I also remember Teewhy2 made a firm commitment that once the product installation is done by his team and any issues arise he will remedy that situation immediately,
We should be guided by our utterances in trying to damage people's reputation out of jealousy or sentiment, this guys (Teewhy2) thread has been running for over 3 months to the best of my knowledge if people have experienced such shoddy job or product line should have been able to come out on this forum or social media to raise alarm on the poor standard of the product.
At the initial stage of his thread he refused to give the prices of the polystyrene and installation cost until he was forced by a repose from Egunmogaji to do the needful

Good Sir,
it is a known fact that the world is evolving and change is inevitable . it was also said that we are products of our past but we don't have to be a prisoner to it.
Technology is moving to more lighter products and the way things are going in the next 30 years the use of conventional materials will be limited.
The way polystyrene parapet is anchored to the building doesn't allow it to fall off. if it is a new building in construction the binding wires on the polystyrene panels are fastening to the reinforcement bars and with the help of special adhesive Poly Plaster which is use on the back of the panel and the wall then casting done on it can't allow it to fall off. if you are using it on renovation with the help of binding wire which is use to fastening it to the wall and use of the special adhesive will not also allow it to fall off.
peradventure it falls off which is not likely to occur the material is a very light material which when falls on something can hardly destroy it or wound a person if it falls, it is something you will pick up and fix back without having the material been destroyed.
sir, we will to invite you to one of our sites in Lagos to see how the way polystyrene products work for you to have a better understanding.
welcome to the world of innovative products, the 21 st century.
Thanks

Constructive and matured response to the criticism of your product, from the little I have read from all your post on the subject matter you are more particular about load bearing capacity , advising those building in swampy area to embrace this product as an alternative to "Situ" parapet.

Also you have been able to demonstrate the cost saving implications of using the polystyrene parapet with analysis attached to the thread, well for the guy critisizing your product may probably be an expert in installing in situ parapet and has discovered the interest some of his clients are showing towards the polystyrene parapet and might want to use this forum to discredit your product.
In summary the sky is wide for very one to fly ,presentation is a good tool to effective and efficient marketing provided you sell or market quality product with top notch quality installation it will not be that easy to discredit your product ,though since you started this thread I have not seen or heard of defects in this product either through word of mouth or pictures

You were right in your first post and you are still correct on this one. The issue I personally have is that you blame buhari for this mess.
Do you think it is easy to fire workers in Nigeria?
Do you think it is easy to increase taxes in Nigeria? When a person tries his best and yet fails, is it fair to keep rubbing it in?
Buhari is flying a plane that is crashing and you are blaming him.
What about GEJ that was told about the bad weather ahead yet decided all was rosy and took off with the plane?
Please leave my Buhari this morning for me.

BLAME ALL

The present economic and political situation should be everybody's fault as far as the nation is concerned, since the inception of democracy in 1999 we should have charted out a course or path of how things should have to be runned with strict adherence to policies and procedures in improvng the nation rather every aspect of our lives was bring politicized to the extent that we refused to listen to voice of reasonings to avert the current situation we are in

My take s that all these policies being impemented is just to favor some selected few and leave the downtrodden in a more bastardized state that they were before,it's pertinent that we as masses should wake up and smell the coffe and hold all post military administration responsible for the dwindling economic posture of the nation

Let me also take this opportunity to add that this news report only substantiates what I've been saying about Emefiele for a long time now, which is that he is a spineless, grovelling coward who is so eager to cater to Buhari's ridiculous whims that he ignores the independence he is statutorily guaranteed. If Emefiele wanted to say no to everything Buhari was demanding, there would be no legislative or administrative means Buhari or anyone else could use to override him, short of getting both chambers of the NASS to strip the CBN of its independence, and the international backlash that would ensue from such a move would kill the attempt at the earliest stages. Barring some sort of blackmail, the only remedy Buhari would have against Emefiele would be to refuse to extend his tenure for another term, but this isn't something a central banker with any principles would be worried about. Unfortunately for 180 million Nigerians, Emefiele is not such a man of principle.

My child was bleeding from her naval and this kind of bleeding no be child's play oooooooo, my child had just lest than 1hrs to survive and we were really desperate to do anything to help her live, we rushed our baby to this government specialist hospital precisely Braitwaite memorial specialist hospital ( BMSH) because you see, I am revealing the name to the whole world and also to the authorities in the River State government to point out to them that what they have in their specialist hospital isn't human beings but witches who are so happy to see people die if not what on earth could make a trained nurse be so ruthless, heartless and without any kind of affection for bleeding and about to die child who came to be nurse and treated under the able hands of these physicians.

My people, I saw hell, this species of human had no time to attend to us and my child was slowly passing on my God Almighty, thank God Almighty for a very special doctor, the senior pediatrician who was touched by CHRIST JESUS my LORD to attend to us.. this beautiful doctor took it upon himself to attend to my baby oh for God's sake, he was very exceptional, those same nurses, came to this doctor to complain that this baby doesn't have a folder with them why is he treating her, oh my God Almighty, what could have degenerated this kind of human being to this low finish, you need to see the look on my face when those heartless nurses said such, the doctor simply reply them that they could see that this baby is passing on slowly that if this blood isn't stop from flowing through her naval that any help given after now will be zero.

He needs to do something immediately, wow, heavy defeat for witches, by God's grace he finally stopped the wicked bleeding and referred us to Kelsy Harrison Specialist hospital where we did blood transfusion and other serious medical assignment.

Thank God Almighty, my baby is stabilized, but the question remains why this nurses are so wicked minded and without Natural affection, is it that they have seen much death that they don't care anymore if another dies.?

Life goes on

Thank God his grace,

This would have been a very good piece for our journalist to carry out investigative journalism on the hospital and put it out there for the management/government,medical council to sanction as appropriate ,

I bet you status quo still remains after your encounter with those heartless witches, they will never change despite the fucking change agenda!

oga, what is right is right and what is wrong is wrong, whether it favors you or not.

After treatment how are you sure they will be able or willing to pay. Hospitals have learnt from past experience, we have all seen cases where patients flee from the hospital when recovered without payment, when patients families call thugs to beat hospital workers, there was even one here on Nairaland where LUTH demanded N800k after treatment, instead of the relatives to pay up they came to Nairaland to be ranting on why LUTH would charge such a sum. If hospitals keep getting owed, how will they buy fuel, buy drugs, buy equipment, pay suppliers, pay salaries.

You should show empathy is some situations, that is why I had to jump into your mention, however since hospital need to run as a going concern atleast we the humans there need to be caring,
I wouldn't lie seeing the picture of that little baby I was nearly down to tears but had to contain myself, just see the beautiful soul wasted due to parents ignorance coupled wth the greed in the system -hospital refusing to help unless you pay money,
Agreed some patients misuse the opportunity why not give this one benefit of doubt sir !!!

[quote author=ultron12345 post=60802700] The government is to blame for this for not providing enough beds and facilities in public hospitals, but how can they provide it when Nigerians pay abysmally low prices for public health services, untill the health sector is privatized and Nigerians or health insurance companies are made to pay the real cost of health services I don't see it getting better.

There is nothing wrong with the demand of N250k by the private hospital, they are businesses and have the right not to give services on credit

@bolded comment refers

So unfortunate that you can make such statement because you are not the one in that situation presently, what stops the hospital from saving the child's life and later demand for the money ,it's people like you I detest ,if you are given a political position you will be worst than the ones we have now.
If really you have nothing pleasing to say you should have emphatize with the family as some sane human have done on this forum.

There's nothing wrong with teaching a child in primary one about goals. The problem lies with the way you prepare the course content and your style of evaluation.
For this level, the teacher is wrong.
It looks fancy.... Yes. But there's a time for everything and a method for every endeavor.

That question is far beyond the comprehension of a child in primary 1,the teacher seems not to have the required skills/ training for the job,
A primary 1 pupil should be learning things like:
1,Simple Arithmetic)multiplication,minus ,division, multiplication tables
2'Basic English:words and spelling, words and opposite and simple sentence construction

Logic! This is type of logic you will find in Nigeria. Someone kills, burns, rapes, destroys and create an atmosphere of terror but he is not a terrorist but the ones who protest and insult are terrorist. Logic. This is the logic of a mind that is schizophrenic.

The thing is, in this country, some animals are more important than the others. All animals are equal but some are 'more equal' than others. And they wonder why the country is messed up. The president has even called them Libyan and Senegalese Herdsmen.

The Garba guy and his boss are just clueless people who shouldn't have been close to any position of managing people. Buhari talked about NEGOTIATING with Boko Haram and recently, North Korea, but he sent programmed adults(soldiers) to go shoot people in the east.

Buhari on Tuesday called for the restructuring of the United Nations but wouldn't try same in his own country. The man is a terrible hypocritical being. He talked about giving Palestinians their own country but IPOB that asked same are terrorists.

I can't be politically correct at this time in our country's history. No one should be politically correct in this moment of our history. Buhari is a hypocrite and without morals. His Myanmar speech is proof that he is more interested in the welfare of his religion than humanity in general.

There's this guy in my area i have been tripping for, he works very close to my house and i normally hide behind the windows to take a good glance at him anytime he drives in to work and steps out from his car, he is so polished, dark, tall and so so handsome with pointed nose.

I had to make my move by mostly driving out when he's about to leave the office and our eyes meet, Last month somehow i was actually taking a walk with a friend close to Isaac John when i heard someone walking hurriedly at my back screaming "excuse me ladies" Behold it was the amazing guy.. he must have ran some distance as he held his breathe, Asking for my name and my friend while he said his.

He somehow got my number and i got he's.. Now what baffles me is that true caller gave out his name and surname, i ran a check on him on Facebook and LinkedIn and i discovered he is married with 2kids.

Though i haven't told him but he is so into me like he calls me more than 10 times(not exaggerating) and always talk about us traveling to Dubai for a short weekend.

I am tempted to ask him now if he is married and if yes, why is hoping to cheat on his wife.(Or probably he has been doing that for a long time)

How do one identify a Player especially the married ones?

@bolded How do one identify a Player?

1.wears jersey
2, wears soccer booth
3,athletically built
4, dribbles well on the pitch

Well if it's located within LAKOWE golf area, you need to be careful as some lands within that location were passed off to the public as lands having affiliation with LAKOWE golf estate.
However if you are interested I have land to sell inside LAKOWE Golf estate , Fair/garden view see attached link , willing to sell for N29.5M ,slightly negotiable
