PoliticsRe: PDP Must Win EDO State-bamangar Tukur(pdp National Party Chairman) by FrankC3: 11:54am On Jun 16, 2012
Lots of propaganda going on here. I always frown at a vocal few that claim the spokesperson position of many. This trend appears that if Oshomole wins, then it is free and fair but if he loses, then the election is rigged. That is very childish in my opinion.
I never believed that Fashola's opponent could get upto 1% of the votes in 2011 elections going by what we read on internet especially NL. Elections are conducted on the field, not on NL and you can never claim to know what all Edo voters are thinking until they cast their vote!!!
PoliticsRe: Lawan Vs Otedola Actually Gej Vs Tambuwal Battle by FrankC3: 12:21pm On Jun 14, 2012
Bullshit. PDP forced Farouk Lawan to collect bribe in the course of his legislative duty. Actually, i personally believe that the part yet unexposed is the complicity of the Tambuwal and Emeka in this whole thing. Afterall Emeka was the once that invited FL to present his comment on the report submitted, effectively paving way for FL to move that Otedola's coy be removed from the list. They should continue planting stories here and there. They will all be exposed.
PoliticsRe: Fresh Documents In $3m Bribe Scandal Implicate Otedola by FrankC3: 8:34am On Jun 12, 2012
Some of the questions FL is avoiding:
When did the house leadership get wind of this? Or am i sensing some attempts to exonerate Tambuwal?
If somebody attempt to corrupt you in the course of your assignment, is it not more preferable to report such to the Speaker and not some committee chairman?
Is he now accepting that the video is no more a caricature of himself but actually him (FL) but when he was conducting 'sting operation' with Adams?
If he collected the money as evidence, who is in the best position to know how to manage evidence to avoid contamination(finger print erasing, etc)?
This guy is sounding funnier!!
PoliticsRe: How The Nigerian Government Messes With The Minds Of Gullible Nigerians by FrankC3: 5:00am On Jun 12, 2012
The poster is sounding incoherent at best. You trusted a man to help you dig out dirt in a system and he got tips from thesame system to change his findings. Is the right thing not to disown the person for betrayal of trust? As for his findings, how can a man with the capacity to doctor reports for monitary gains be expected to have done a thorough job of investigating a corruption crime, especially with the weighty cloud of allegation hovering over him?
PoliticsRe: Subsidy Probe: Otedola Confirms Bribe To Lawmakers by FrankC3: 9:11pm On Jun 11, 2012
Ok. They are not more human than you. Go and buy ticket to fly presidential jet. Even in heaven, there is hierarchy. Sometimes, people just want to live in dreamland.
PoliticsRe: Subsidy Probe: Otedola Confirms Bribe To Lawmakers by FrankC3: 6:35pm On Jun 11, 2012
I think the game is this: FL and team took the government and actual whistle blowers to the court of public opinion and got them really messed up, but it appears that he is fronting for an opposition camp. Allowing this issue to loom in public domain for some time has purpose that just exposing FL as a person, but aimed at exposing the hypocrisy of the present crop opposition masquerading as anti corruption persons. They will be so thoroughly indicted publicly that their words will seem like that of FL after now. At the end of the day, we may agree with GEJ that arresting people and clamping them to jail may not be the fist fights against corruption but actually dealing with the avenues that encourage corruption and making corruption less attractive. Ask top federal civil servants what GEJ is doing with their pay roll system so that you can get an idea of this governments anti corruption strategy.
With this happening, many people will be more careful when next they want to ask for bribe while on national assignment and that itself made corruption less attractive. Next time you wnat to bribe somebody, make sure he has no hidden mic on!
PoliticsRe: Subsidy Probe: I didn't Collect Any Bribe - Farouk Lawan by FrankC3: 8:42am On Jun 11, 2012
^Beacause he 'helped' prove your hero to be a bribery suspect? Thought you were against corruption, or is it in so far as it does not affect your heroes?
PoliticsRe: Subsidy Probe: I didn't Collect Any Bribe - Farouk Lawan by FrankC3: 7:49am On Jun 11, 2012
FL is claiming that he did not receive any money, so which money was he trying to tender ON THE FLOOR OF THE HOUSE last Thursday? And for others claiming that there is no video, remember that FL from his statement, seem to acknowledge to have watched a clip and the only thing he has to say about it is that it is a 'caricature' of himself. I think it will be wiser if we find out from FL what caricature of himself mean before we proceed. His statement further indict him in my opinion.
PoliticsRe: GEJ Seeks Senate Approval To Rename UNILAG And 2 Other Federal Universities. by FrankC3: 3:14pm On Jun 09, 2012
^^Don't you feel the contradiction in the statement like 'the president is daft'? And as many will say, this simple statement is actually the biggest mistake of President Jonathan's opponents. People who really believed that statement has paid and are still paying for their carelessness.
PoliticsRe: Oil Subsidy Probe: Tension Grips Reps Over Alleged $3m Bribery Scandal by FrankC3: 2:48pm On Jun 09, 2012
Why is the article making desperate attempts to drag the presidency into an alleged corruption scandal against a committee set up by the House, and whose reports were submitted to the house? Remember that some characters has called for the resignation of NOI and DAM based on this same report and the so called presidency and PDP are powerless against indicting serving government officials. How come that this same 'presidency' and PDP could save an unnamed oil baron but not her serving ministers? Resolving the puzzle behind this alleged scandal could provide answers as to why the serving Oil minister for the peak periods of the subsidy money theft was not questioned by this 'very' sincere committe 'ably headed' by a member of 'integrity' group.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Fills Roads With Crash Site Rubble by FrankC3: 8:23am On Jun 09, 2012
But the way people talk about Fashola commissioning all the roads in Lagos, i wasn't expecting any pothole to be filled in the first place. And yes, i remember that PDP has not done any Federal road at all but AD/ACN is a better alternative that should have at least filled up ALL the potholes on Lagos roads or am i missing something here?
PoliticsRe: Gej Is Yet To Sign 16 Laws Passed By House Of Assembly Into Law by FrankC3: 11:56pm On Jun 08, 2012
Ok. Go ahead and swallow dailytrust. Swallow saharareporters alongside. Afterall it makes you feel better, what does the truth matter anyway?
PoliticsRe: President Jonathan Cannot Win Another Presidential Election Even Today by FrankC3: 2:22pm On Jun 08, 2012
^^Then you shouldn't be doing it on NL. GEJ LOST 2011 elections on nairaland by a very hopeless margin only to win the same election by about the reverse on the margin in real world. Most of you guys take nairaland too serious. You never consider the fact that democracy permits the vote of the so called religious or ethnic or tribal bigot or even a clueless fellow to have the same weight as that of your highly literate self. If you consider this fact, then you will shed some of this arrogance of saying how 'Nigerians' will vote and be a little more humble about your choice of political association.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Fills Roads With Crash Site Rubble by FrankC3: 2:08pm On Jun 08, 2012
You notice how most people are condemning the act without mentioning Fashola's name. I am sure that if NEMA had been the one managing this situation, we would have seen GEJ dragged into the incident by any means possible.
PoliticsRe: President Jonathan Cannot Win Another Presidential Election Even Today by FrankC3: 10:43am On Jun 08, 2012
@least Buhari was the one that won elections on nairaland but lost in general elections.
PoliticsRe: Gej Is Yet To Sign 16 Laws Passed By House Of Assembly Into Law by FrankC3: 10:36am On Jun 08, 2012
You people should stop spreading falsehoot. At least, my company communicated to me of the PITA act that has been signed by the president and we can see the impact on renummeration. That i know because i am directly affected. If you must tell us what the president has done wrong, pls verify your facts. Other claims in your article could as well be wrong...
PoliticsRe: President Jonathan Cannot Win Another Presidential Election Even Today by FrankC3: 10:15am On Jun 08, 2012
Nigerians are mature enough to decide her leader independently. And Nigeria is bigger than Lagos or Katsina or Enugu alone. In 2011, Buhari won the election on nairaland but Jonathan won in Nigeria. Does that not teach us something about speaking arrongantly for more than 60million eleigible voter?
PoliticsRe: Seun Osewa Stop Tribalism Today by FrankC3: 9:09am On Jun 08, 2012
I have seen some posts here where folks come out openly to call for the murder of the president and the post is not taken down. Do you really need any 'report' button to know that it is wrong, even if that is how you feel. Every capability comes with responsibility. That is the message of civilization. Some folks don't know the implication of some things they post on the internet and it our collective duty to establish a baseline. Every game has rules, even ram fight. This site needs to be operated responsibly.
PoliticsRe: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Has 90 Million Naira Monthly Security Vote? by FrankC3: 5:28pm On May 23, 2012
Hunger for bad news from the FG has made some people to lose their sense of reason. And for those that seriously reasoned through this junk and accept it as fact, you surely need to open your minds, study more and know how things are done even in your country.

PoliticsRe: Soludo Takes Lawmakers To School On Capital Markets by FrankC3: 12:38pm On May 20, 2012
Please, tell me how Sanusi's regulation which i believe is in line with your economic school of thought, has actually impacted the real sector? You said that Soludo created fake jobs, tell me how many real jobs Sanusi has created? With all the donations and credit lines and 'corporate responsibilities' going on now, how has they impacted the real sector or created even fake jobs as you said it, or improved on ANY of the economic indices that Sanusi met. Bro, no matter how you look at this, Soludo's policies, with all its faults represent progress far more that Sanusi's sanitized banks. Please, point out any of all those weaknesses of Soludo's CBN headship that has improved since Sanusi took over. I really want to know. Just one, and don't tell me 'sanitized banks' unless you will attach the unit of measurement.
PoliticsRe: Jega, INEC boss, Escapes Mob Attack In Jigawa by FrankC3: 11:17am On May 20, 2012
^And what do you call an attack on INEC chief quickly followed by an applause to Buhari? Almajiri action?
PoliticsRe: Jega, INEC boss, Escapes Mob Attack In Jigawa by FrankC3: 10:46am On May 20, 2012
Is it not funny how Jega 'rigged' in GEJ and the people 'voted' in Fashola and Lagos councillor and council chairmen? And how many of these detribalized Nigerians here will still support Buhari's candidature if he chooses an Okoye or an Aliyu but not a Bakare or Olugbenga as his running mate? Smh for 'Nigerians'
PoliticsRe: Jega, INEC boss, Escapes Mob Attack In Jigawa by FrankC3: 6:36am On May 20, 2012
@egift Why are you celebrating this? Does this represent your idea of social order where the rule of law prevails? In whose power is it to declare elections rigged? Is this some sort of intimidation or what? INEC is wrong, police is wrong, the courts, all the way to the peak are all wrong and you and Buhari and a mob of almajiris are the only ones right?
Na war oh!
PoliticsRe: President Jonathan's Speech At Enugu Is Treasonable by FrankC3: 6:24am On May 20, 2012
The OP is just spreading falsehood because i still can't see how he got to his conclusion. No look at this quote: 'from the time of John the Baptist, the kingdom of God suffereth violence.... And only the violent take it by force' Does this really mean that there was violence in God's kingdom the day John was born? Normally, a 'from' is followed by 'to' indicating a valid range of time within which a logic holds true. That is actually the essence of integration (calculus).
Following what Mr President's logic, he is actually saying that the things that went wrong ranges from laying poor foundation for such a gigantic structure to having the product of such poor foundation- including having non ideological political parties to states going to Abuja monthly for hand out to having a former president mentioning blood and election in thesame sentence.
The question any sincere person must ask himself is which of the problems for which the president is insulted just started today? Actually, we suspected that they have been there, but now we know the extent. But wait a minute, what is Fashola, Peter Obi and Babangida Aliyu's daily feeding budget? You obviously dont know because they sustained business as usual. Do you now get what Jonathan mean when he says that his team wants to change this country?
PoliticsRe: President Jonathan's Speech At Enugu Is Treasonable by FrankC3: 7:40pm On May 19, 2012
I can't seem to see where the president opined what the OP is crediting to him. Please, kindly bolden the part that declared the amalgamation a mistake to make it easier for some of us to identify at a glance.
PoliticsRe: Soludo Takes Lawmakers To School On Capital Markets by FrankC3: 5:07pm On May 19, 2012
@olajide
are you saying that the market crunch was caused by Soludo's consolidation policy, and by implication the consolidation was ill advised and wrong? You also seem to quarrel with the idea of making the most populous black nation the financial hub of africa despite her potentials. Please, educate me on why the 7th oil exporter cannot(no should not) finance her oil deals locally and why it is better for them to finance it from europe and america.
Finally, to prove the excellence of your idea, kindly point out how Sanusi's policies of 'conservative economics' (as you seem to be advocating) had changed things for the past three years. Mind you, the only achievement(very debatable claim cos we know what his appointed CEOs did despite the sterling corporate governance built in by Sanusi) of Sanusi so far is that he sanitized the banks. Now, please tell me how to measure how sanitized banks are.
PoliticsRe: My Resistance To Action Congress Of Nigeria’s Forced Conscription - Mimiko by FrankC3: 6:42am On May 19, 2012
Aregbesola considers this thought process too complicated and sophisticated that he thinks Mimiko cannot be an 'omoluabi'.
I fully subscribe to Mimiko's political philisophy. He fully understands world class democracy.
PoliticsRe: Soludo Takes Lawmakers To School On Capital Markets by FrankC3: 6:08pm On May 17, 2012
^Your last sentence seem suggest that you are against the unde-regulation. Most likely, you are for over-regulation as is presently practised. Is Soludo's 'many blunders' that he belongs to a different school of thought from yours as a fellow 'intellectual'. Actually, both schools of thoughts have their pros and cons. But Soludo has once again presented some strong reasons why he has chosen his own school of thought and they look like facts. Three years of fervent over-regulation has been proven to yield more losses for the country in terms of market performance, job losses, and even the so called embezlement by bank CEOs. Based on this, i prefer Soludo's under-regulation with its shortcommings to Sanusi's over-regulation.
PoliticsRe: Governor Of Lagos State Has Shown How Common Sense Is The Most Uncommon Thing. by FrankC3: 12:07pm On May 14, 2012
Whats this desperate attempt to pitch the people against the doctors. If you think that sacking the doctors is a sound decision in this age and time for a 'mega city', go ahead and do that and play all politics you can about it but STOP this attempt to demonize the doctors. I dont know how a society where people hate the people that attend to them in their weakest moments fit into your dream of a sane society. If you must beat a child, then you must let him cry. Stop blanketting the airwaves, print and internet media with this madness. It is not healthy for the society.

PoliticsRe: Justice Ayo Salami Reinstated As President Of Court Of Appeal? by FrankC3: 2:42pm On May 12, 2012
He can't be re-instated. He may be recommended to be recalled ny thesame body that has the authority to sack or recall him. However, when you place it side by side with the terms of his employment, he has actually retired in arrears. His recall, not reinstatement is actually an academic excercise.
But na war for some NLers oh! Have you noticed that thesame people that called NJC clueless when his sack wan recommended are thesame people celebrating NJC's recall rcommendation. Does it mean that NJC is both 'clueless' and 'clueful'. And the ultimate question is why is that that the internal procedural self cleansing structure built into Nigerian Judiciary is of so much interest to most ACN peeps. Is this an attempt to politicise the the judiciary?
