The British left us with some values that we have discarded. While I was at UNIBADAN, I observed that the faclities on campus looked similar to those of the University of London. Till now, the facilities of UI are still being maintained in a British manner though some of the infrastructure has dilapidated. When was this? I was in UI in 2005 for a post graduate degree and the facilities were an eyesore. They were being maintained in a very Nigerian (pardon me, but its true!) manner!
