saintalone: Didn't want to do this, but my conscience aches! So tell me OP, how was I able to reset my blackberry ID password with the "fake app"? Although it didn't connect, but on using the forgot my password link , it asked me my password retrieval security question, then redirected me to the website when I supplied the answer. So tell me, how did the app know the security question I used on my BlackBerry device 3 years ago? And it ain't all those predefined questions like "what is your 1st car ". I set the exact question myself , had even totally forgotten it. |
Adebayolove: Is there a plan like EasyLife 4 on etisalat?Yes, I hear it's in the works and should be fully launched soon. |
remmyz: i entered an Airtel Office along oba akran today to do number portability from mtn to airtel. i was told i will need a drivers license or voters card before i can port my number for verification purpose. my question now is this. what if i dnt have any of this, what is the essence of sim registration? my finger print was captured, picture, address.....and so on. isnt it possible for them to just use a finger print scanner to search for my name and verify if i am the true owner of the line. i am just tired of this country with the old fashioned and outdated way things are been done in this country. And in what country would you not be required to have one form of ID or the other? Even in Japan, citizens are still required to present an ID before carrying out some sensitive transactions. You for say make dem put face recognizing camera for gate naa, so that as you dey enter, dem go don port your number before you even reach reception. |
Magicdon: Etisalat need to upgrade their click for d day which is 1mb at d moment at a daily subscription of 5naira to 5mb just like their mtn n Glo counterparts. Mtn n Glo offer a 5mb data service at a daily subscription of 5naira. I strongy feel that etisalat is exploiting their customers dat are in click for d day data service which is just 1mb. I need ur humble opinions.Actually, the cliq 4 D day service's function is to discount on-net calls on the etisalat network. that is what the 5 naira daily access fee is for, the 1MB is a added bonus to this service. |
mavtrevor: And how significant are those features you just mentioned? Yu wont even notice the difference between photos taken from both phones with your ordinary eye. So cos a phone is bigger with 2" makes it cool to go for?May I ask what update you are looking to get on your S3? I hope you know that the most significant of those features you are eyeing are actually hardware dependent |
mavtrevor: interesting....are we still discussing same topic?WOW, so your S3 is going to get a 4 inch screen via update? An infrared sensor on the top and one in front to detect your hand gestures , a bigger battery, a 4 inch screen you can operate with gloves too? Even a faster processor, a larger RAM, and a 13 megapixel camera will all be sent to you via updates What a lucky guy you are ![]() |
@rainmaker Dude, give it a rest, you have no point Something as 'simple' as being able to operate your phone with gloves on could sway a lot of non-geeks to the S4, how much more of the other features the S3 will never have? |
HOLLASLYD: What for an official update from Samsung soon HOLLASLYD: NopeOk thanks |
@HOLLASLYD Could you please tell me if it's possible to upgrade a galaxy s duos to jellybean in Nigeria without rooting If yes, how? Thanks |
Try changing your charger |
WackyJ1: This is a very frustrating problem. At first when you buy a charger or when you're using your phone's new charger during the first periods, once you plug it to your phone it starts charging, you don't need to touch or twist it in any way. You can even plug the phone and leave it plugged when there is No light and go out expecting that there will be light while you're out and when you come back, your phone will be fully charged, but after some time with continued usage of the charger i discover that you can no longer plug the phone once and it'll be charging, you have to plug it, turn the charger or the phone in a certain way and leave it like that with no disturbance to make it charge. You can plug it once and leave it thinking it's charging but when you come back you discover that it was not charging at all because of a little displacement. What usually causes this and how can it be prevented ? I tried changing the wire of my charger(replacing it with the wire of a new charger) before and it worked well but now it's giving that problem too. The mouth of the charger is not shaking or anythin. Is there anyone else who faces this? This problem is mostly associated with non-authentic chargers ( those bought for 200 naira or thereabout ). Try using Original chargers |
carlwheezer: u cnt download with ucweb from fztvseries.mobi , its a browser problem, and they stated it on their site..try using ur opera mini or ur d4ullt web browser. Peace.I download an average of about 300mb/day with UCweb from fztvseries |
deshclones: dude you have a caustic tongue....why will she be classified as the first woman driver in nigeria??her classification should be in the western region..not nigeria as a whole...whoever gave her that appellation is daft and obviously never relied on any statistics....on what basis was she crowned the first female driver in nigeria??what indices did they use??Back then , there is no way anyone will buy a car and it won't be known or even celebrated. It is very easy to determine who is the first to do what , when it comes to limited commodities like cars back then Your disagreement is baseless , reeks of jealousy/bad belle |
afrikanns: and if it shows HE that will make appear might not make you a withness, because your post was blasphemous, AnimalAnd what is that all about please ? As a muslim(I assume you are one from your statement) , you need to guard your utterances , say only what is good or keep shut , as the Prophet (SAW) admonishes us You would have done more good by simply explaining to him that the sighting doesn't matter after the 30th day. Simple |
I made a transfer from my savings account a few days ago , after it was previously unavailable Since some are saying they still can't do it , maybe its being rectified in batches. |
" Wonders shall never end " must be the best way for Nigerians to express surprise/shock. Lol |
StarBoard: Reading this comments makes me want to sum up Rivers people in one word: dumb. But I won't because there are a few redeeming people i've encountered.LOL , so you really believe that retaliation will stop the killings in the north. Go grab some ammo then , save some river's citizens up north. |
StarBoard: Simply trying to play to the gallery of the north for his future political ambition. So how does allowing retaliation in Rivers protect its citizens up north ? ![]() |
i stream everything on my 1,500 etisalat BIS , on both 3g and EDGE only that it stutters more on EDGE , which is natural |
ikoha: etisalat all the way with their 3.5G everywhere no matter the time of the day. The downlink and uplink speed is phenomenal. I can download videos while on the move from Festac to work (Agbara, Ogun State) daily. MTN is a pack of poo. If you bought like say their hourly unlimited plan, you wont be able able to commision a single web page before your time is up unless you want to keep vigil evry night from around 1am till 6am just to work online- THEIR FATHER!Well ,I average about 6GB/month on my N1,500 BIS It might be unlimited. |
I have only 1 battery for mine , and it lasts me the whole day , although I have to charge at night , just like most smartphones. It all depends on how you manage your power Check this thread for tips www.nairaland.com/957311/curve-4-always-hot |
Koolefe: tanks a lot but does upgrade also increase the battery life?Mine did , also reduced the heating up , although I have other ways of managing the battery life and the heating up problem. Some of them have been highlighted here already |
You need a doctor , Cus soon , the words themselves will start depressing you , then you won't be able to read anymore Pls nip the problem in the bud as soon as possible |
walcolm: @OP...data cap is your data limit on a particular data plan. i believe Etisalat pegs their BIS data limit at 1GB. if in less than 30days you use up the 1GB, then your BIS subscription will expire and you wont be able to do anything that requires internet downloads as you are experiencingIts wasn't the facebook app , facebook page won't even open in the native browser , Its working now anyway , they fixed the problem later that same day |
I have the same problem with etisalat BIS Every other thing works , except all facebook related things I am sure it isn't a data cap problem. |
montelik: This was a free album, one that came out with virtually no promotion. Don Jazzy announced the new label Sunday and released the free album Tuesday. This was clearly a promotional tool to help garner publicity for the new label and whatever new projects they hope to start, not a money making or chart bursting release. Why would any body expect this album to match the quality and content of other Don Jazzy productions when this one was free with no promotion what so ever. So Mo'hits all stars CV album was better, but that wasn't a free album with no promotion.Thumbs up bro , you are one of the few that understands what Don jazzy is doing , this release is doing exactly what its created to do Hate it , be indifferent or Love it , YOU ARE ALL TALKING ABOUT/LISTENING TO MAVIN !!! |
irongate jnr: if i were to be d secret service, i wl start wit u d poster. This thread is obviously part of the big plan of d bh thing. Wht do u stand to achieve, turn nigerian minds against GEJ? U r jst patheticDespite the abundance of dumb people on Nairaland , you still stand out , very conspicuously * thumbs up * |
~Bluetooth:Hmmm , be that as it may , it still isn't enough reason for the auto-segregation levelled against anything from kwara up. |
~Bluetooth:Una see wetin I dey talk ? Omo yoruba lemi o . Olodo :p |
@ OP : You nailed it totally The southerners , especially some yorubas have this superiority complex , and a grossly wrong assumption that nothing good can come from the north. My brother was once asked by his yoruba friend if he lives in a mud house up north. And he expressed surprise at how civilised my brother appeared. Less than two months ago , I had a fierce argument with my friends over whether or not majority of northerners have terroristic tendencies. When I do things right , the normal commendations might be given me , but when I miss a step or do something out of the norm , some people around say " ok , he grew up in the north , abajo ". This for a mistake that can be made by anyone The fault is all our leaders' , for failing to forge the unity necessary for equality in this widely diverse country of ours. They are only united when personal interests are at risk. You can't blame the average Nigerian for thinking or acting in this line sometimes , for he/she might not know better A lot of people will like to visit other regions of the country , but who will want to risk his/her life amidst these security problems we find ourselves today ? The rot is from the top , and the fastest means of fixing it is from there Thumbs up OP , this will surely open a few willing eyes. |
