Sometimes here we turn a serious issue to joke. This thread is important but i do not believe they will carry out this subsidy thing at least not the amount government people are brandishing about. Talking about business, the following will fly Try to study fuel consumption reduction and bring in fuel consumption reduction kits to sell. Then form a consultancy outfit to train company drivers how to handle vehicles to consume less fuel. You can also tell them how to prevent wastage and pilfering because if the price is up, people will be tempted to steal. |

@Beaf. It appears you have conveniently avoided this comment just immediately after your first post. They want 1.2 Trillion in savings?? Why not first get rid of the multiple craft in the Presidential fleet? Remove all the myriad of SSAs, SAs? Get rid of the hundreds of bulletproof limousines? Save the nation a few hundred Billion by simply cutting down the number of federal ministrys to max 18 and compelling states to "fight" for the substantive senior posts on merit basis? Cut down legislators emouluments and even get them to serve on part-time basis? Tighten the borders to reduce smuggling etc? I can imagine dozens of ways that would amount to same figure being saved to the benefit of many and loss of few. But self-sacrifice is NOT our way, is it? It seems better to push the pain on the down-trodden masses and yet, people expect such as boko haram to keep quiet while watching their little kids starve amidst plenty! And of course, MEND thugs get paid more than consistently serving civil servants of 20 years standing. What is to come is definitely going to be worse than what has passed! I foresee GEJ being the first serving president who will be stoned in public & I wager the culprits won't be apprehended because they'll have the moral support of his own guard My own comment is that this kite will not fly. Let them cut cost as Nuclear outlined above but add cutting the no of civil servants. Build modern refineries. It is a pity that about 15 years down the road of PDP, they cannot give us a refinery. Does this guy know anything about Christ School, EKPACO,, DMGS, African Comprehensive college, Ikere, and other well grounded schools with well grounded products. Standard of education may have dropped but it is all over and our tertiary schools are not the worst. I interview people for positions and I can tell you the products from Emeka's side of the country are worse, After all, our first ladies know the difference between widow and widowers Ekiti 1, If Emeka wants a war, let us give it to him. Ibadan is ok but it depends on your commitment. Food is affordable. Many come from Lagos to buy here. Education fine and within reach. Transport,not hell like Lagos. Atmosphere, eerie. I raise all mine here and I thank God. 2 Likes |

What stopped him from advising Ajimobi to take such precautions knowing that Ibadan is more prone to flood.after all they are both in AC I do not think Aregbesola has done anything to prevent such calamity we experienced in Ibadan if the heavens should open up on Oshogbo or Ife or Ilesha as it did in Ibadan on that black Friday. Be that as it may, To call Aregbesola a lazy man is the acme of unfairness and misjudgement unless Beaf has new meanings for lazy and indolent. This is the guy that managed works ministry for Tinubu. Even his detractors cannot but agree with the fact that he is hard working. . The beating could and may not be responsible for her death. Renal failure is kidney failure. If she received a vicious kick at her lower back it could affect one of the kidneys. This may not kill her instantly but gradually. I am not a medic though. This is a laymans opinion. |
