PoliticsRe: Unemployed-Graduate Stabs Self To Death In Lagos by funnyx(m): 8:31am On Apr 22, 2013
The guy was depressed and since there is no proper mental health care in Nigeria he committed suicide. The system failed him, its nothing to do with aye, witches or wizards.

Embracing and celebrating of criminals by this gej govt is getting irritating, from mend to opc and possibly to boko haram undecided
Since this govt came to power nothing and absolutely nothing has been done to reform the Nigerian Police, its all the same old sh! t.

Eziachi: So what have you done than to beat drum for Jonathan and his inept govt? As a 17 year old, I joined and fought for Biafra freedom along with my 3 brothers, father and 3 uncles. My two brothers and one uncle didn't return home and you're busy sitting in front of your computer talking about joining hands. You think I am just a critic or I am lazy?
Ojukwu acted because people like me gave him our practical support, not sitting by the computer singing praise of rogues called politicians. What exactly do you know about real life?
OMG shocked you sacrificed this much? Really the anonymity of this forum means you don't really know much about people one interacts with. I like your patriotism, with more people like you surely this country can be great again.
PoliticsRe: The Real Buhari by funnyx(m): 8:52pm On Apr 19, 2013
Goddex: GEJ is performing really big on roads, airports, fuel supply, railway, economy, power, agric, etc

Buhari is an old cargo and has got nothing to offer. Idiagbon was the pillar of that administration. The very moment he was out of the country was the time Babangida kicked Buhari out like a woman.
Performing well indeed grin grin grin

Eziachi: Obama was in Boston within 48 hours in person with his wife to reassure the city and the citizens, in your own case, it took your president 2 years to reach Borno state, only after being blackmailed into it by the opposition governors.

The FBI, state and local police went to work straight with the aid of the public. While in your own case, they changes on who the sponsor of the terror is on a daily basis, mainly their political opponents, while the masses are being murdered. The masses cannot aid the security agencies because they are their enemy number one.

Obama allowed the security agencies to do their job, while they brief him daily. In your own case, even when the dust of the Abuja bombing is yet settled, Jonathan announced that MEND wasn't responsible it. In that case, where do you expect the security agencies to go from there, after such a pronouncement?

In the United State, the security of the masses is number one priority, in your own case their security is at the bottom of the list.

You don't compare a mango to a cassava, as we always rip what we invest. And by the way, Nigeria is not a nation, simply an enterprise.

PoliticsRe: Okonjo-Iweala Interview With Christiane Amanpour On CNN by funnyx(m): 9:08am On Apr 19, 2013
sentix: After watching the interview I finally realised that Nigeria has a major problem. We keep saying the military, the military in a few year the number of year under military will be equal to the number of years we have spent under democracy.

They've started using the excuse since 1999. My father was working at the PTI when the warri refinery was built. It was completed in 16 months though the expected delivery date was 18 months. we have spent almost 16 year fixing those refinery. Who are we fooling! It does not take a decade to fix any problem no matter how bad the situation is. Obasanjo spent 8 years - Yaradua/jonathan another 8 years. 16 years and not a single problem we had before 1999 has been fixed seriously!

Please give me one good reason why you should not be corrupt in the present situation in Nigeria.

Madam Coordinating Minister has been there almost through these two regimes. THAT HAVE FAILED WOEFULLY!
Thank you some people believes it will take 20 years or even more, especially that it's now their time to rule, they must make the situation worse than they met it undecided

I imagine if GEJ is a Hausa man, the kind of bashing he would have received as the president even at this news but as he his a southerner and a 'Christian' he should be hailed for taking Nigerians for f00l.

The next track is titled 'ori mi ko ni buru' ( May I never be unfortunate)
This track just like the name suggests is a prayer song:

Ori mi ko ni buru o 4ce
Letter t'Oluwa ba ko ko seni to le pada
Ori mi ko ni buru o.....

Oluwa ko ma gbagbe mi 4ce
Ire kaluku o lowo eleda lo wa
Oluwa ko ma gbagbe mi

very nice and entertaining track and evergreen also it will always be played from generations to generations.
Music/RadioRe: Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey Fans Thread by funnyx(op): 7:54pm On Apr 17, 2013
The next track on evergreen song 1 is
Iba F'eledumare
I enjoyed this track anytime it is one of the proper highlife you can ever listen to. In this track Obey praised all members of his band for their contribution to his success. The beats towards the end of the track always made me to remember a film titled Oleku and the way they danced in the portion of the film, it was a proper old school style of dancing and dressing as well.
@danny301 As sumone rightly said, Nigeria is a difficult country to defend. It kind of makes it hard for her to 'dazzle' evrione without selling her conscience. Or maybe it might be that YOU held her in such high esteem and u feel she didn't 'represent' cuz I don't think she was supposed to say anything particularly intelligent. @funnyx ,are u trying to crucify d woman 4 deciding to help her country in the way she felt she could? Are u saying she was stupid for makn dt decision probably knowing her reputation was at stake? Chei,my people! You pple would ave been d first to accuse her of chopping money and nt caring abt Nigeria had she refused the appointment. Besides, I think she covered 4 all Nigerians nt only d govt. Afterall it's nt only d govt that's corrupt. 99.9% indeed! Most Nigerians won't give up corruption if given the chance.
Crucifying the woman undecided how?
A lot of Nigerians including me respect NOI a lot but when your position becomes untenable its always good to leave when the ovation is the loudest.
If you read the excerpts of her interview it is very clear that she struggled to defend the activities of the govt of which she was part and parcel of, if she gives that same interview as an executive of a big international business or corporation I'm sure she'll have resigned by now but in Nigeria everything goes.
PoliticsRe: Okonjo-Iweala Interview With Christiane Amanpour On CNN by funnyx(m): 12:59pm On Apr 17, 2013
danny301: I have gone through the interview several times and frankly speaking i didn't see anything special apart from the unnecessary comparison in it .... I didn't see any uncommon display of intelligence and diction as i expected of know. ... Her responses lack articulation or unification and focus. I mean there were no clear-cut points in her answers as she was unable to drive home any particular point.... Let me not say that the woman is an overrated personality but suffice it is to say that i expected something more from her.
Ngozi case is like that of a white sheep wining and dining with swines, she is doing herself no favour by working with this present govt, by the time she leaves she would have lost all her remaining reputation.
PoliticsRe: Proposed US-Immigration Bill Will Eliminate DV-Lottery by funnyx(m): 12:45pm On Apr 17, 2013
davidylan: Yep. Canada was much smarter. Their immigration system is geared towards picking highly educated folks who can contribute to the society. In the US all we get are floods of uneducated mexicans.
Exactly! Same as Australia and even New Zealand. Like US, UK also encouraged immigration of low skilled workers for a long time until the introduction of the now suspended HSMP which ironically was the most regulated and criticised immigration route despite bringing in skilled migrants. Also for many years you can easily get working visa in Ireland simply by having an irish born baby while professionals like doctors are victimised daily with threats of deportation, what an irony!
