There is too much money involved in this Corona virus stuff.
When this mess is over. This government or the next one should setup a panel to probe this guys and their families. Anyone found wanting should face the full wrath of the law.
HealthRe: Why COVID-19 Patients Play, Dance In Isolation Centres — NCDC Reveals by Gabbriell: 12:33pm On May 22, 2020
Corruption is like termites inside wooden material, every wood used to support such material becomes infected with the termites.

With the level of corruption in Nigeria, there is no way people won't cash out big time on this Covid-19 pandemic.

If u believe people are not cashing out big time, then u are either ignorant or one of the benefactors (directly or indirectly).

The virus is real though.. so let's stay safe.

Proverb 17:28
Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise;
When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.

Why are u all quarrelling over senseless things. Why are u all arguing as if you are either for science or for religion.

Science does not contradict the Bible. Am I Christian and that doesn't stop me from being a scientists.

Below are some of the world's great scientists who are Christians.

Galileo Galilei
Blaise Pascal
Robert Boyle
Isaac Newton
Johannes Kepler
André-Marie Ampère
John Dalton
Michael Faraday
Charles Babbage
James Clerk Maxwell
James Prescott Joule
J. J. Thomson
Werner Heisenberg
Arthur Compton
Peter Gruenberg

It's quite shameful that people don't read their books. That's the reason for ignorant arguments.

What is even more shameful is the so called nairaland atheists who in real life are Christians and Muslims. Go to their school admission letter, instead of choosing to be atheist they chose either Christianity or Islam. But online here them no go allow person hear word. Another set of fools are the so called nairaland Feminists who really don't understand the concept of feminism.
NYSCRe: My NYSC Hookup Experience... by Gabbriell: 11:07pm On May 20, 2020
Sex is not everything. I never engaged in such act and I still enjoyed my time during NYSC camp.

Camp is full of several activities and competitions to derive fun from.

As a footballer, the way I messi some guys during inter-platoon matches is better than any sex I could have had during that time.

I still remember the applause and how I was carried n thrown up into the sky several times as if we have won champions league.

Though some guys just dey bleep women lansan for football pitch @night before light out. Most ladies are gullible in camp. But there are intelligent once sha.

Oga if someone from Calabar speak to u won't u know ? U are even sayin "maybe"
I won't know because I haven't been to calabar before neither have I heard them speaking their dialect.

U are just arguing pointlessly. No single person can identify all Nigeria languages...it's a simple fact.

There are over 500 languages in Nigeria. I speak five of those languages. Except from Yoruba, when I speak some of the local language to someone via phone call people around me will be like what the heck is that?.

Not at all I don't even understand the language it doesn't sound Nigerian.. which part of the country speak that language?
May be this did not happen in Nigeria. But how many Nigerians language can you detect.

It is funy how Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo think there is no other language in Nigeria. There are over 520 Nigerians languages. Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa are just the three major languages due to their population.

A lockdown that wasnt serious isnt a lockdown.
As far as this country is concern there cannot be serious lockdown in all places.
Some places might be serious, other may not.

Any state that say it observe complete lockdown (I.e not only in major areas) is simple lying.

Enyimbamercedes:
I'm beginning to lean towards the argument that this COVID 19, in Nigeria at least, is a scam!

I think a lot of the asymptomatic cases are either false positives or cases of malaria

Kogi state has only carried out 1 test with no lockdown, yet I'm not reading or people dying in large numbers from unexplained deaths.

Same as Cross River with only 7 tests, though they locked down.

I also see no trends in the data...during lockdown and easing of lockdown.

CBN - 50 billion palliative - scam!

FG palliative - scam. They claim they cannot even afford to feed and accommodate returnees and CBN had to intervene . CBN even thanked NNPC for sharing the cost...what happened to the 50billion

NNPC- Scam ...see above

School feeding programme - scam! Spending over 600m daily feeding ghost children

Chinese experts- scam!
Kogi state observed the first lockdown, though it wasn't that serious in some places.
HealthRe: One COVID-19 Test Conducted In Kogi Since Outbreak — NCDC by Gabbriell: 11:03pm On May 19, 2020
Like it or not; Coronavirus is not effective in Nigeria compared to Europe & America.

From February-May so far...we still dey gallant. We haven't done anything better than Spain, Italy, USA and the likes. If the virus is as effective here here, our epileptic system of government won't be able to handle it. Las las Covid-19 go turn to virus version of malaria in Nigeria.

All I can say is thanks be to God.

etrange:
I don't think so. Science is not about sentimentality but empirical evidence. You can't push a cure to the world based on "no harm in trying". This only make mockery of Africa and fighting for it based on emotional grounds is even more reason why the world won't take seriously in future. This could be the cure but let's advocate for due process.
Well said

HealthRe: COVID-19: Madagascar Demands N78,200,000 From Nigeria For Herbal Drugs by Gabbriell: 10:24am On May 18, 2020
Just get a sample of the drug and test it to confirm if it is working.
if it is effective, then pay the 78million, 200 thousand naira to get the rest.

Upon the donations made in billions, if FG cannot cough out approximately 80million naira for this cure then they should all resigned.
Christianity EtcRe: Aggressive, Violent, Cool, Calm, Which Is The Best Way To Pray As A Christian? by Gabbriell: 1:34pm On May 17, 2020
There is time for everything. Situations mostly decides the mode of prayer.

Jesus mostly say simple prayers but a time came when the end of his mission was at hand and the pressure was getting higher. The bible described him of being in such an "agony" that he prayed and his sweat "became as drop of blood falling to the ground". (Luke 22:44)

Good news that we Africans are not belittling ourselves just as the whites belittle us.

The white called it a quack drug..but will later get a sample tests it's components (elements contained) and then form a drug from it n credit themselves for the drugs.

Truth is I'm numb to this coro scare lately.
Even WHO has said the mask can't protect a person from the virus. I imagine what that info would do to front line health workers.
WHO is one messed up organisation at the moment.
Yes facemask reduces (not prevent) your chances of contacting the virus but it doesn't mean one should be going upandan. Let's observe other guidelines that have been put in place.

I think WHO don't have what it takes to fully study this virus...or they have more political employees to scientists.

There is a common saying; " PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE". The virus have been on ground for almost six months now (December to May) and yet the mode of transmission has not been fully known. That's poor. If it is known, proper preventive tips would have surfaced and made available all over the word.

If by six months now..common things about the virus is not yet understood then statistically, this virus will enter next year. I hope am wrong sha
