PoliticsRe: How Much Is Nigeria Worth by GAR3TH(m): 4:29am On Feb 24, 2011
buzugee:
keep in mind Beaf, when you calculate how much a country is worth, you are calculating the minerals, and real estate stock of that country, not intellectual assets.
Your also calculating the human resources such as population, average age and trades. Climate, geography, Agriculture and Water resources also affects the price along with access to seas and oceans (ports). Not to mention the Mineral Resources like you mentioned.

Congo [DRC] is currently the richest country in the world (in terms of mineral wealth)with $24 Trillion of mineral resources still yet to be tapped. not including the other types of resources such as agriculture.

on that Note I think that Nigeria in total is worth about $20-30 Trillion.

kliffo:
Majority of christians in the middle-bel tand SE still care about a Muslim-Muslim ticket . The religious crisis in Jos has widened the rift and it will take truly exceptional candidates to mend such cracks.
Ribadu and Fola Adeola dont seem that exceptional to me.
I'm sorry but Jos doesn't represent the entire middle melt.Overall, No body cares about what religion they're from as long as they get the job done. look at kaduna, after Sambo (Muslim) left the state didn't riot nor complain when Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa (Christian) took office. Nigerians aren't idiots, we know religion doesn't matter in politics.

PoliticsRe: Maps Of Oil Fields In Nigeria by GAR3TH(m): 6:25am On Feb 19, 2011
What about offshore?

"a third (1/3) of Nigerian oil production capacity is offshore, with 36.2 billion barrels of oil reserves as of January 2007, , according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA). Government has flagged plans to expand that to 40 billion barrels by 2010."*

* http://www.offshore-technology.com/features/feature1975/

Offshore oil is on federal waters and not state. some of Nigeria offshore oil platforms are 200km from land. Now you know 1/3 of the oil belongs to no one. and if we do some more research I bet that 1/3 will increase rapidly

PoliticsRe: Africa South Of The Sahara: What Are You Waiting For by GAR3TH(m): 4:23am On Feb 19, 2011
Whats happening in Northern Africa and the Middle East is completely different from Black Africa. In North Africa and the middle east you have dictators and monarchies, while the majority of Black African countries have democracy. People up north are fight for their rights, their natural rights and are trying to get rid of the tyranny from their dictators or monarchy and form a new government (most likely democracy). Many Black African countries already have democracy, freedom of speech, right to vote, Elections etc.

The problem with Black Africa is lack of leadership. Just look at King Mohammed VI of Morocco. His monarchy has ruled Morocco for 11 years now and has brought massive development to morocco. Even though he is a King/Dictator, morocco has seen massive improvements because what he has is leadership. on the other hand look at Ghana which has the best democracy in Africa. why aren't they the most develop African country, why hasn't their development surpassed Nigeria's, because they lack credible leadership.

There is a BIG difference between, "democracy" and "Credible leadership"

lol you must be kidding. How is the north more develop than the south. Becomerich only posted pictures of abuja ( Middle belt ) and pictures of nice buildings in northern cites (some pictures were from other cities and countries). What becomerich didn't post was Infrastructure or even economic development ( factories, shops, businesses). the reason he didn't post them is because they don't have a strong present, due to the fact the north is not develop. can you compare lagos to kano or even calabar to sokoto, no.

Here is a cool map that shows the expressway Networks in Nigeria. Notice the south-East shocked,

PoliticsRe: Dubai Paradise Aisles Are Sinking - I Hope Lagos Is Watching by GAR3TH(m): 10:50pm On Feb 04, 2011
what happens in lagos and what happened in dubai are completely different. Dubai paradise island is sinking while lagos is eroding. Lagos has an erosion Problem due to the intense surfs and waves that hits the beaches. Like many have said, victoria island extend out kilometers towards the sea in the past, but due to the erosion, land was lost to the sea. So lagos is not sinking, its eroding. But their is nothing engineering cant solve. there are already projects under construction that will reclaim land and protect lagos from the sea.
PoliticsRe: Indigine Vs Settler by GAR3TH(m): 6:07am On Feb 04, 2011
Humans (Homo sapiens) have been around almost 200,000 years plus. Are you telling me that the so call "indigenous" people have been living on that same piece of land for over 200,000 years. The answer is no. people come and people go, no one owns the earth. you might say your the indigenous ethnic group that "owns" the land. fact is other ethnic groups and people have "owned" the land before. . .200,000 years before you!!!!

In reality there is no such thing as Indigine because we are all settlers.

This is sad, may the Woman rest in peace.

But why did the Mob burn the bank and the cars? what do you gain from rioting and destroying other peoples property? Some times I wonder how people reason. Yes a person died, but it doesnt give you permission to destroy property.

In addition the taxi drive should also be held accountable
PoliticsRe: Who Is Ribadu's Running Mate? by GAR3TH(m): 10:43pm On Jan 31, 2011

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Needs All Her Citizens Abroad To Come Home And Fight The Government. by GAR3TH(m): 10:32pm On Jan 31, 2011
Nigeria has a democracy, but a democracy is not what makes a country to become developed, Its good leadership. Look at ghana, the best democracy in Africa, they are still far behind Nigeria in terms of development. At the same time look at dictator Kim Jong-il of N korea or the monarchy of King Mohammed VI of Morocco there countries are far ahead of any african nation. Good leadership is what makes a country great and all nigeria needs to become great are good leaders, nothing else.
PoliticsRe: Like Turkey, Egypte, Tunisia ...... Just like Nigeria. by GAR3TH(m): 2:37am On Jan 30, 2011
The fact of the matter and the point of this thread is that Nigeria is not as bad as people claim it to be and other countries such as egypt etc are not as develop as many nigeria think.
PoliticsRe: Uganda Gay Rights Activist David Kato Killed by GAR3TH(m): 12:13am On Jan 29, 2011
Sagamite:
Answer this, so you feel you make sense to compare homosexuality to racism but it is oranges and apples to compare homosexuality to the other depraved sexual desires?
First off, I was comparing Peoples hate of homosexuality to peoples hate of other races. I has comparing how one person can say he is against the hate of racism but he is for the hate of gay people. Basically I was comparing hate. so I dont know what you are trying to pull by asking me that question above.

Second, you were comparing unique sexual acts of intercourse to homosexuality. like I said in the other post sex has nothing to do with being gay and a relationship has nothing to do with sex. wasnt Jim McGreevey, former gov of New jersey, a married man with a wife and kids, he was gay. fact is being gay has nothing to do with sex and everything to do with a relationship aka love.

BTW I'm not gay if anyone was wondering, I just have an open mind.
PoliticsRe: Uganda Gay Rights Activist David Kato Killed by GAR3TH(m): 11:53pm On Jan 28, 2011
Sagamite:
Why can't I choose to hate an act?

Do you like other depraved and deviant sexual behaviors like bestiality, paedophilia or necreophilia?

We should be against hating those? Or you want to refine your argument?
thats not even on topic. we are talking about apples and this guy brings up oranges. homosexuality is not the same as paedophilia. a male paedophile can have sex with a female counterpart and vice versa. what does that have to do with being gay, same with Zoophilia (having sex with an animal) and necreophilia (having sex with a dead body) has nothing to do with being gay. Homosexuality is having a relationship with the same gender!!!! Its not about having sex!!!

so your telling me you meet a girl for the first time and the first thing you say is lets have sex. its about building a relationship. but just with a same gender.

This is why i dont argue with people who are intolerant to opinion, they start pulling information out their a$S.

Conversation OVER!!!
PoliticsRe: Uganda Gay Rights Activist David Kato Killed by GAR3TH(m): 11:25pm On Jan 28, 2011
Sagamite:
You can as well start comparing "discrimination" against paedophiles as similar to a white man hating black and saying you are making sense to "bigots".
the key word is hate. No matter what topic your talking about the fact is you cant choose "hate". you just cant say its wrong for this to happen but it okay if this occurs. what it all comes down to is that everyone should be against hate. Key word HATE.
