OndoEyes: It was needed to rejoice and dance on the same day his boss just died? Aiyedatiwa was nothing before Aketi brought him to contest with him and this is how he repaid him. Nothing can justify this treacherous act
How can you say someone that drives in a bulletproof car is nothing? Sometimes you guys just talk as if he was picked from the road side to become deputy governor, that same bulletproof car he donated to Akiti when he was made the candidate for ACN, the family rubbished whatever loyalty he had, but he should have allowed wisdom to prevail rather than seek revenge with a power hungry wife
LegendHero: Omo see how Betty dey look like make she gun Aiyedatiwa down.
Only God know what is going through both of their minds.
RIP to Akeredolu.
But the governor never did anything wrong, Akiti was seriously sick and all he should do was to handover while they focus on him is health but Betty was more concerned about power than spending the last days with the husband.
He should not have returned to Nigeria, but they wanted to make a statement by his return, they all know that he had limited time, and should have focused on his health and spent time with him. That eye wasn't necessary.
Melagros: No wonder! I was surprised when I watched journalists interviewing the governors outside the residence of the former governor on arise and channels. I think this is wrong, you have been hiding his sickness now he's gone, what are you still hiding?
They can't go into the residence but remain outside, there's nothing to hide, that is private residence, they can only come in when invited
All those sending private messages to couldn't have the courtesy to even send me an Xmas card talk more of a gift. Well I wish you all well as we move into the New Year
All my fans from the political session, I wish you all well and a prosperous New Year. I stand and believe all our hopes will be renewed in 2024, but make Una show me love too 😂😂
Reno go and rest, don't you get tired, elections are over and you're still talking about Obidients, go and rest please, you can ask the governor of Delta state to find something for you to do
Pierohandsome: I said something like this when I read about the directives by Mr President.
I said the president thought he is dealing with Fubara directly by issuing such one sided directive he called intervention. He forgot that this is no longer about Fubara, it is now a party thing between APC and PDP, and nothing can be done to help the detectors. Even if you remove Fubara through the supreme Court which is a hard nut to crack, that won't still bring the detectors back to their seat, they are gone for good , except they recontest, and they will never win
The lawmakers were stupid to have defected, if Wike advised them then it was a miscalculation on his part. Even if Fubara will not has no direct business with the law makers defections, Tinubu can not ask PDP as a party not to take the law makers to court and declare their seats vacant, that's beyond Fubara. So the law makers if fact APC may not give them the opportunity to represent their party, because they already had members who contested those positions before.
Firstcitizen: When your neighbour decides to rear leopards near your fence, hope you will repeat this nonsense when you start running from pillar to post to get him to remove the cats.

Rockyheight: Nyesom Wike, minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), says his political team in Rivers state will not allow anyone to “drag” it down.
Wike spoke on Sunday while addressing the traditional rulers of Ogbaland who visited him at his Port Harcourt residence.
The traditional rulers led by Nwachukwu Nnam-Obi III, visited Wike to congratulate him on the occasion of his 56th birthday.
The monarchs sued for peace over the political crisis in the state.
Over the past few weeks, Siminalayi Fubara, governor of Rivers, and Wike have been at loggerheads over control of the political structure of the state.
The feud between the duo snowballed to the Rivers house of assembly, causing factions in the state’s legislature.
At least nine commissioners have resigned from the cabinet of Fubara amid the political crisis.
WE’LL ACCEPT PEACE’
While addressing the traditional rulers, Wike said he and his team would accept peace regarding the political crisis in the state, adding that they will not involve in violence.
The former governor said the crisis in the state is not an “ethnic war”, adding that residents did not vote based on ethnicity in the March governorship election.
“No politician will fold his hands and allow to be dragged down,” Wike said.
“I and my team would accept peace but we won’t allow ourselves to be dragged down because when we go down, who will protect our people. Who will talk about our own interest.”
The FCT minister warned that politicians should not destroy the “ladder” they used to get to exalted positions.
He added that in every social group , there are rules and regulations guilding the behaviour of members.
“In everywhere you are, even in the traditional institutions, there are rules. You can’t run away from it. In a political group, there are rules,” he added.
“You cannot say that because an Oba has emerged and then an Oba will not follow the rules of the traditional institution.
“No! An Oba will always obey the rules. So also in politics, there are things you must not do and there are things you must do.
“Don’t pull the ladder that you use in climbing. When you are coming down, the ladder may not be there.
“Also leave the ladder so that other people can also climb the ladder.”
What's is Russia business telling a sovereign country which organization to join, they're becoming a bully to all the small countries around, Finland never considered joining NATO until Russia invasion of Ukraine. Russia should be playing a big brother role like China and America rather than go around bullying small nations because they want to join NATO,.
What are they afraid of? When they should have created an organization dragging those small nations together and protecting them they rather want to annex them.
Sundaland: Weeks after appointing his son, Olukayode Jnr, as one of the 23 new judges of the Federal High Court, Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola has appointed his younger brother, Adebayo Ariwoola, as the new auditor for the National Judicial Council (NJC).
Peoples Gazette reports that Adebayo’s new role overseeing the NJC’s internal audit unit, responsible for ensuring financial integrity and compliance, has prompted questions about the influence of familial connections in pivotal positions within the judiciary.
Critics are apprehensive that such an appointment might compromise objectivity and ethical standards.
Renowned Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has marked the end of the year with an exciting milestone – becoming a landlady. She took to her Instagram story to announce the purchase of a new house in London, UK.
Congratulations at you are sure your investment would not be demolished.
The talented singer, who frequently travels between Nigeria, London, and other countries, shared photos of her luxurious new home, showcasing its well-equipped gym, furnished living areas, and a cinema room.
aikyg: Na waa ooo! Is this Ohaneze body for or against Igbo interest? In what part of Igbo land do you beat a child and ask him not to cry? A man's home was demolished and you are asking him not to cry.
What do you want them to do? When they knew that it's was illegal to build on water ways they still went ahead thinking they have so much money to bribe, even till tomorrow people are still building in water ways, it's not just demolition they should be prosecuted and asked to pay a heavy fine or sent to jail. We should not support illegality, be it ibo or Yoruba,or hausa
wiseone28: Stop lying there to gather some likes..
Nsek and other local contractors that Udom used to do substandard roads were JB?
Udom use 70 percent local contractors. Only Akpabio uses JB which was of high quality
So this one you wrote is not for likes, don't know why you're so bitter, how local contractors did Udom use and for which roads, because the ones I drive through done by Udom was constructed by JB
OVB123: I am not against construction of roads in Akwa Ibom state but what i am trying to say is that it hasn't really reduce the suffering in the state because the people are still leaving the state to other states emass in search of menial jobs such as house help, gate man etc. The government will have to look into it because "person no go fit dey for river and thisame time, dey tasting".
Everyone one is moving around Nigeria it's not only akwa ibom citizens, we have lots of Yorubas taxi drivers coming into Port Harcourt, nobody is talking about that, it doesn't mean there's no poverty in the west.
OVB123: What is the economy benefits of that roads on the lives of the average Akwa Ibom persons? Are they not still poor?
So what's your take, they shouldn't improve on the roads, because you are looking for economic benefits , that is one state with the government is setting up little industry to ensure their are jobs for its citizens.
I really don't understand the improvement of infrastructure in the state with economic benefits, and they are not as poor like you and your brain
The difference is that they have a working system, good infrastructures, health care, regular Power supply, good educational system, so basically there's might be just goods and some services, but in Nigeria nothing is working, no jobs, no good hospital, no good educational system, infrastructures are so bad, there's nothing good to talk about.
2RUTHHURTS: You that is talking, have you seen any provision for pedestrians being the common people in this road design? Why can't we accept constructive criticism
Akwa ibom is baba for roads Julius Berger finished work there, Akpabio and Udom did very well they made sure all roads where handled by Julius Berger and not local contractors that would use substandard materials
