ADAMUdaCOWBOY: Are you married? May life not teach you with personal experience that men sometimes don't reap the fruit of their labour. Men who take care of their kids properly are well taken care of in old age. Taking care of kids goes beyond provision for the records. I know mothers who wouldn't travel if their husband is not coming along with them. |

I wonder how some of you sit in your homes and start giving unsolicited advice.
I have friends who did graduate studies in Canada, started with survival jobs, bought properties, and today, they are doing professional jobs and have forgotten their years of little beginnings. They are living the choice of life they want and are happy without praying for the basic needs of life like many of these advisers are. |

If only all his actions had translated to a better monetary policy, perhaps, he did be justified. Anyways, I guess the average Nigerian cares less about his actions that does not translate to any improvement in their lives.
That said, those people justifying the actions of the current government should please continue. I hope they are better off than they were before the current government came aboard. If it is the converse for them and they are holding unto the praise of this government for reasons best known to them, then big shame on them. |

If I go to the US on a visiting visa and during the period of visit, the school I applied to opens for the term, can I start schooling there without returning for a school visa
Is there a problem with this? There is no problem however, you need a very good justification on why you want to change status from visit to study. |

Nobody's fault but the low quality food we grow up with. All the swallow, rice, yam, plantain, potatoes, beans will make you obese and prone to some diseases. Jman06: Unfortunately, we cannot all act responsibly because by nature, men are designed to seek sex from women. You and I may be able to act responsibly but whatever the other men?? It is now left for the married women to say NO to such demands.
Women have more control over sex and usually have sex with whom ever they fancy! So, they have more responsibility to ward off illegitimate sexual demands from men. Ladies in this forum, in a bid to absolve their gender of blame, usually blame men for marital infidelity with the ridiculous claim that men's promiscuity is responsible for marital infidelity. That, to me, is nonsensical because most cheating men do so with unmarried ladies while most cheating women do with unmarried exes or younger bachelors. Don't you think this sounds like some double standards? It isn't appropriate for any party to cheat. Some of the men accusing their wife for paternity fraud also have their seeds out there in another man's home. |

Jman06: How is the man she cheated with the cause How you ladies come up with this view is mind boggling!
Except in the event of rape, women have sex willfully and with whom ever they fancy! They're the gatekeepers of sex as sex will not happen if they don't want it. What stops her from saying NO to the man proposing sex to her Oga, I am a man for starters. When men chase after other people's wives and these women commit paternity fraud in their husbands, same men still act like they are the victims. The summary of it is "If we all act responsibly, it will reduce the incidence of paternity fraud." |
Family › Re: Honey Lets Take The Children For DNA Test . Can Just One Woman Boldly Say This ? by GboyegaD(m): 3:25pm On May 27, 2024 |
descarado: Many Nigerian wives have raised children that is not theirs. You talk, in-laws will be on your neck. And oh as long as men continue to sample outside, be least assured they will continue to raise kids that are not theirs. You can't sample another man's property and expect yours to be pristine. Let the sampling continue. Women don't fight anymore, rather they will give you with the same measure. At the end of the day, it's men that lose. When after 20 or 30 you will learn your child isn't yours. Also make sure you check your paternity, your father may not have sired you.
No wonder we are on the lowest threshold of poverty. When men think with their dikk and immediate gratification. They don't care about the consequences of their actions. I guess the challenge sometimes is that these men don't remind themselves that some of the women they are cheating with are married. I wonder how you sleep with another man's wife and you keep shouting paternity fraud. If the woman gets pregnant and pibs the child on her husband, is the man age cheated with not the cause? |

Agriculture › Re: Kwara Governor Abdulrazaq Launches "Home Farming For All” Kits by GboyegaD(m): 10:07pm On May 21, 2024 |
Babinski: The solution to food security in the country is not everyone doing mini-farming in sacks and buckets. That is ridiculous, particularly when we have a lot of arable land that Fulani marauders and bandits have prevented people from farming.
The solution is having enough large scale farmers and a booming farming industry in the middle belt and all those areas with arable land without the fears of insecurity, bandits and Fulani marauders. The Government should ban open grazing to reduce Fulani cattle destroying crops and increase security to prevent bandits and kidnappers from discouraging farmers.
The Government should then provide funding, mechanization and other farming support and interventions to real farmers and not "CBN Farmers" or "Briefcase Farmers" that collect billions under the guise of farming in collusion with the managers of the Government Interventions.
That in my opinion is the way to go and not these subsistence farming kits. Unfortunately the Government appears not to have the moral strength to ban open grazing and address the security issues. In the meantime, this intervention is still better than nothing. It is obvious the government doesn't care about the masses because the masses themselves do not care about themselves or are ignorant about what they deserve. If they chose to vote for people who have no good intentions for them due to ethnic and religious affiliation, then you should at least appreciate this effort. |

It is indeed a good initiative if they pull through with the extension officers actively engaging the people and teaching them right. Would it make food cheaper, not really nonetheless, for those who choose to follow the lead, it will reduce their total expense of food which in turn allows money to be spent on other things. |
