With all due respect, Christian girls are complete sell out! The only word they understand is MONEY!

How many times do u see or hear Muslim girls dating or marrying Christian guyshuh NEVER!

Can a girl from a rich northern Muslim fulani family agree to marry an Igbo or Southern Christian guyshuh NEVER!

But Christian girls date and marry northern Muslims anyhow just because of money! It's so shameful....

Christian ladies always consider money first before their religion but Muslim girls consider their religion first before money or any other thing.

Christian ladies keep falling hands, too bad
Northern muslim men are far far more more generous and financially liberal and this is why they do get christian women down. If u christian men were as liberal and rich, you would have gotten more muslim women because we are all greedy as humans irrespective of our tribe or religion. Make no mistake, am not in support of this, am just stating the obvious.

Anyway, Babangida's wife, her father was an igbo man who married a hausa muslim woman, Ike Umar Nwachukwu and Igbo elder statesman had a fulani muslim mother. Former governor of Taraba state Suntai who is a christian is married to a shuwa arab muslim woman from Borno. All these christian men who married muslim women were quite rich. If you have the money and willing to release it well, there are millions of muslims even from the core north who will give you their daughter to marry. I have seen cases where it happened.
However i agree that christian women are cheaper than muslim women, christianity does not encourage discrimination like islam does.

Yes you are very correct. Those of us from the middlebelt lack unity and true leaders and that is why we are scattered like sheep without a shepherd. With a true leadership. Middlebelt people especially all the northern christians will rather work with the south than the core islamic northernerns.

Ok, well to me, this man has been the best governor from the South-east region. I really love him even though am not from the south-east.

I will be happy to see PDP present him and another credible northern candidate for Presidency/Vice in 2019.
Enough of this current clueless and scam of a govt under Buhari.

Yes u are right. But with the rate of pretence going on, how sure are we that we will not attract the pretenders who will wow at our presence before marriage but immediately they have paid the bride price then the whole story changes?
Am not married yet, but i can see what our married women suffer in the hands of these men. It's so terrible.
That's why my advice for girls and women is to empower themselves and completely depend on themselves and never try to live their lives to please any man or his opinions, becos u can never in the real sense.

You talk like you never see anything negative in your partner. The fact that your partner complains about something does not make him insecure or less of a man. It's your job to make him see your point of view and vice versa.
Even the white men that y'all praise so much have their flaws. Try interacting with white chicks and let them tell you their first hand experiences. I have and I can tell you that the devil you know in naija is better than the white angel you don't know.
What makes u feel she has not interracted with white folks or people from other races? She might have actually had. For instance i can tell u that many white women will tell u that they prefer African men because African men are family oriented and will be quite quick to settle down and have children, some of them also feel that African men are sexually endowed compared to their men and these may be true.

Another thing is that many African men are naturally pretenders from what i have observed. If they are with white women, they tend to act more obedient, supportive and comitted to the marriage, but with their own fellow African women, they just take us for granted.

Babe please shift.
Both men and women are guilty of this accusation you have conveniently leveled against Nigerian men.

And it's not only Nigerians that are guilty of this.
It is human nature to be greedy and selfish. Some people have it under control, some don't.

Muslims all over the world are allowed to marry more than one woman. Is that not indicative that some of them may not be satisfied with one wife?
Women, married and unmarried, cheat on their partners. Some even have boyfriends for different purposes.. (shawarma bf, suya bf, iphone bf)
So chill and be the best person you can be.
It's mostly African men that are guilty of this. They always like to lay blames on their spouses. Most white men are very supportive of their partners no matter what and will never shift the blames on them for their wrongdoings.
I know women have issues and also tend to play guys, but African women are generally more comitted and faithful to whoever they say their vows to on the alter and they tend to lay their lives in his hands and give him their complete support and allow all their desires go to him alone. But this is very different from most men here.

Foreign men are not as insecure as these our men here. Nigerian men will always find every reason to blame a woman no matter what she does.
RomanceWhy Are Many Nigerian Men So Unstraightforward And Double Standard By Nature? by genieluv(op): 10:48am On Oct 07, 2016
This is nothing but the truth and it's so sad that most Nigerian and African women have allowed this character of many of our men to confuse us, make us who we are not and make us hate on each other.

The average Nigerian or African man will look at his wife at home that she is no longer fascinating or looking sexy anymore just for him to excuse himself to cheat on her, but if his wife starts dressing extremely elegant and sexy, looking all hot when she is leaving the house, spending her time on manicure, pedicure and cosmetics, he will start feeling insecure and may even start accusing the wife of acting flirtatiously and cheating on him. Why?

The same African men are very quick to open their lying mouths and say that they prefer naturally dark skinned ladies and they are always quick to bash and castigate ladies who are bleaching their skin. Yet you go on instagram and other social networks and you see the light skinned ladies getting all the likes, attention and the hype from the same men. Watch Nigerian and most African music videos and you see almost all the ladies these celebrities sing and dance with and even date are all light skinned ladies, biracials and even whites, you hardly see these celebs with dark skinned women. So who is deceiving who?

The same men will say that they are looking for their kind of ladies who are homely, decent, God-fearing, good cook women and bla bla bla to settle down with and then you see many fun loving and funky babes by nature changing themselves just to fit into the marriage imagination of our men and only for the man to marry her, leave her at home and keep on going after those fun loving and funky babes outside, while the homely and decent lady stays at home longing, crying and praying for her husband whom she had to develop morals from childhood for. Why?

Why should the lady at home who is striving to live a godly, decent and motherly life just to fit and meet up with the society and the man's standard of a good wife in many cases get less attention and be looked down on than the hot babe and side chick outside that get all the attention and compliments from the same man? What could be more double standard of a human being than that?

The same Nigerian man will complain that his wife who is at home taking care of his kids and doing all the domestic work is a liability at home and she is of no use, if this same woman now gets up and start working her ass off day and night, travelling on business trips and always busy with business calls, clients and on the go, the same men will still be complaining and feeling insecure that their wife is not performing their wifely duties or are now looking down on them because they make money too, some will go as far as accusing her of respecting her boss more than him the husband or cheating accusations.
Many Nigerian men are very much intimidated by successful women.

These are just some of the few cases of many.
Pls i need the men to answer, why are many of them like this? No matter what a woman does, they will just never be satisfied.

Obasanjo picked Atiku so a Christian Boni Haruna did become Adamawa Gov.
Jonathan copiously appointed christian northerners into positions of authority in Armed Forces, NNPC and the CBN.
But Buhari should have been more liberal.
Abeg this is false. Neither OBJ nor GEJ had any intention of making a christian governor in Adamawa or Kaduna. And GEJ did not favour northern christians more. Buhari is the greatest fanatic.

As much as I love to see such coalition materialize, I don't see the possibility of it happening because the middle belt people are the ones who carry the "northern agenda" issue the most. Even the guy who opposed the bill is from the middle belt. They protect the northern oligarchic interest even more than the core north, yet they are not benefitting from it.
APC was speaking. Is that not the same way Rochas and Amaechi speaks in favour of the core-north because of APC bond?
2011 GEJ election proved that the middlebelt and the south can actually unite and put the core-north where they belong, where were you in 2011 when 7 states of the middlebelt/northern minorities voted GEJ instead of Buhari? Not even the south-south or south-east could deliver 7 states to GEJ in 2011 election, but the northern minorities did it. So speak from experience.

I hope we are not doomed.
He is not saying the truth!
Most middlebelters are terribly sick of that name north-central. Like is Benue in the centre of the north? North-central was originally a name for Katsina state.
Most middlebelters and northern christians are not happy the way things are. The problem is just that many of our leaders are usually bought by hausa-fulanis with ordinary peanuts and then sell the destiny of their youths.
The region lacks true leadership which will unite all these various minority groups to speak with one voice.

The whole of the north! I have been there so I know that even our nearest neighbors in kogi and Benue somehow feel happy with the status quo.
I am partly from Benue and we do not feel ok with it!
The problem with many middlebelt people is that they are very ignorant of their rights. Since Gideon Orkar died and many other great middlebelt independence leaders, the region has been confused without any form of direction, but the truth remains the truth, many of us are not happy with the way things are.
There is no middlebelter that will tell u that he doesn't want the restructuring of the geo-political zoning for instance and for the north-central to be renamed central or middle Nigeria.

SuperS1Panther:
Don't you think the south is being mentally and politically lazy by not building a coalition with middle belt states for the amendment of the constitution and political restructuring of the nation.
If that is achieved, what can NW and NE do?
Exactly, all the south needs to do is tell middlebelt leaders what they want to hear, especially the things that really affect them. And the target should be mainly the middlebelt and northern christians, because unfortunately most middlebelt muslims have allowed hausa-fulanis brainwash them with religion in order to feed them with crumbs from the table.
PoliticsRe: Reps Reject National Conference, Referendum by genieluv(f): 7:43am On Oct 06, 2016

The north have continued to oppose any request to rewrite the 1999 constitution which was written largely in favor of the northern oligarchy without due considerations to the rest of the country. I have always said that right now we don't have a democratic constitution as a democratic nation we are supposed to be.
I am just sick and tired of this country!
People keep blaming those who are agitating for a state of Biafra without thinking on some of the issues that led to such agitations on the first place. They forget that just a few steps taken by government to address some of these issues would cause the Biafra agitation and other similar agitations in Nigeria to die a natural death. Go to the east and see the pitiable state of federal roads there, yet nobody cares, but once you talk about Biafra it will interpreted to mean that you hate the rest of the country. I am just tired!
The north keep boasting of how they can use the advantage of having more states and LGA (which we all know how the several northern military regimes created) to the disadvantage of the south. They forget that if Nigeria must remain one indivisible nation, then we must do what's right to ensure that every part of the country feels happy being Nigerian. Otherwise, Nigeria will cease to exist as an indivisible nation and it will happen in no distant time. I wonder how those guys expect patriotism from people with present state of things in the country! And I also wonder how Nigeria will become one Great, indivisible nation without patriotism from all and sundry. I just wonder!
The question we need to ask ourselves is 'where were our own fathers when these hausa-fulanis were structuring Nigeria to favour them'? We have to suffer for the sins of our parents in their ignorance and non challancy and try to ensure that our own children do not suffer from our own mistakes and foolishness.
If the hausa-fulanis could do it without agitating for an independent nation, then anyone can do it to without agitating for an independent nation. Smartness and diplomacy is what counts.
