in togo apart from main yoruba emigrant. they are called atapame. they speak yoruba like people from ondo state in nigeria. authough the yoruba may be complex along the line.. history say they emigrate from ondo kingdom.

Seems like you guys have fought and settled at different times goodiiii. **** I have come across a sudanese family in Kaduna and yah those guys can easily pass for Hausas and fulanis.
Those guys told me that there are many Sudanese of Nigerian (hausa) descent and i discovered it was true.
I really can't speak for Somalis, buh Ethiopians i think, yah. A cousin of mine schooled with and befriended loads of them and looking at the photos, i think some of them can pass for fulanis.

We can't help but admit the fact that fulanis seem to be the smartest ethnic group among the large ethnic groups of west Africa.
Fulanis have international cultural unity groups accross West Africa.

Hausas are the largest tribe in Niger republic and a majority in Nigeria, yet no international unity, Zarmas are even dominating the hausas politically in Niger republic.

Akans are the majority in Ghana and Ivory coast, yet no international ethnic unity, maybe Just30, lethalbeast or vaxx can explain this for us.

Yorubas are a strong force in Benin republic and even Togo, but no cultural solidarity btw the Nigerian and non-Nigerian yorubas @obaaderemi, 9jakool

But fulanis from over 10 different West and Central African nations have international unity groups.

Fulanis are united and smart, yes, but they are also at a disadvantage from what i see.
So, no need to hype them.
Most fulanis in Nigeria are loosing their language and culture to hausa (becoming hausanized).
I also heard that in Mali, fulanis are loosing their language and culture to Bambara, likewise in Senegal where many fulanis have adopted wolof.

On the (Saturday) 20th of May, i was called by a foundation (live-bridge foundation) to follow them to a Community that still kills twins and 3plets children in FCT. i thought it was a joke, until we got there.

The communities name is KIYI along Kuje-Gwagwalada road Abuja. When we reached there, we saw hose children that where saved from this cultural carnage. If the child grows upper teeth before the lower teeth, he/she will be smashed on a tree trunk as sacrificed to the Oracle. And if a breastfeeding mother dies, the child will be buried alive.

Also, they kill albinos children. Livebridge is working tirelessly to stop this cultural carnage. In addition to that, we did several medical examinations to treat those children, and took some to national hospital for emergency treatments and surgeries.

Vin Heritage homes where the children are saved is founded by a missionary pastor, who usually goes to the 'evil' forest to pick some of them that are still alive. Sometimes, some of the mothers that give birth to twins/3plets had to run discretely to the orphanage to donate one and present one to the community.

The Imo youth, reasoned that instead of the FG appointment to be given to another state, those concerned should find him worthy and use him for a replacement.

I have always told people that the best form of inheritance is such that for every onething the female child inherits, the male child has double and for every one thing the male child inherits, the female child has half, that is justice.
The male child has more responsibity than the female child whose responsibility has to be taken care of by her husband.

@ genieluv you are right, so true, but the problem is: Nigerian women overdo everything they are into, they don't know how to balance work life, business, money chase, family, marriage and love....they must overdo one to the detriment of another.

For in stance, if u marry a lady and tell her not to work, out of love and care, she will become too lazy at home and turn to a horrible nagging wife barking and yelling at her maids, and even hubby sometimes.

Marry a working class Nigerian lady and supoort/encourage her to be the best in her career/business, and watch her become wild, disrespectful, prideful and pompous to even serve you food as her hubby becomes a big task for her.

Nigerian women need to learn how to balance things in life and not overdo things.

Most Nigerian men love independent ladies and will definitely support and even assist her grow in her chosen career or business but when u get close to most of the so-called independent Nigerian ladies, they are mostly not dateable or marriageable, why

1. Most of them are so prideful, pompous and always feel like because they managed to make or earn some money, therefore all men should bow and worship them. And of course no Nigerian man in his right senses with his financial situation in tact will dare marry such a pompous lady that lack humility!

2. Most Nigerian independent ladies are flirty and wayward with rich men!

Most of them combine their flourishing career, business or trade with discrete high-class prostitution whereby they target only the super-rich men and politicians in corridor of power, and u know, Nigerian men know about this because one way or the other, most Nigerian men also know one or two men that patronize these career women that combine high-class love peddling with their career...and this makes them distasteful to honorable single men looking for committed relationship or marriage, and no man (single or married) in his right senses would want his wife, the mother of his kids to be living such wayward lifestyle.

You talked about most Nigerian men preferring light skinned ladies...u are right no doubt, it's not just about Nigerian men...its about black men, even black/African American men prefer white or light skin ladies.

So once a black man becomes rich, his most preferable type of woman is a fair skin lady with big buttocks and nice bo0bs. Blame nature...and don't listen to any black guy telling u otherwise, sadly.

So my suggestion to Nigerian ladies, if u can't stand the heat of being dark skin, and if u can bear the consequences of bleaching your skin, pls do so or tone it to become a bit brighter.

Stop overdoing things...try and learn to balance things in life: don't allow your job, business or career to make u overlook your marriage or abandon your home/family.

Most African Women are not like that, women may be hard headed while they are still dating you, but once u put a ring on their finger, they automatically loose desire for every other man, they act more responsibly and are more conscious of themselves, they are more willing to be obedient and make their marriage work.

Hardly will u see a succesful African man who does not keep extra marital affairs and is completely faithful to his wife, but i can show u countless numbers of African women who reached the peak of their career but are still very much faithful, loyal and comitted to their husbands.
Somebody here said it on this forum that he visited Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's home and observed that this woman still kneels down to serve food for her husband. Checkout the most influential Nigerian and African women and see that about 50% of them are still very much faithful and loyal to their spouses.
So you can agree with me that it is only a smaller percentage of African women who are power drunk when they are as succesful or more succesful than their husbands but for the men it is 99.9%.

U people are 17 states while the north is 19 states + FCT.
According to the constitution of Nigeria, a president can only be declared winner if he can secure 25% votes in at least 5 states outside his region, that means a southern presidential candidate must be able to win at least 25% votes in about 5 northern states b4 he is declared president, irrespective of the volume of his votes, likewise a northerner too must secure at least 25% votes in at least 5 southern states. I did not write the constitution.

Do u know that in this last election, some northern states like Plateau and Kaduna gave GEJ more votes than up to half of the states in the south?
In 2011 election where GEJ won, only 8 states gave GEJ over 1 million votes and PLATEAU and KADUNA were among these 8 states. So dont talk like an ignorant mofo!

In 2011 GEJ won 7 states of the North Central and North east before he could be president. Likewise Buhari won 5 states in the south-west to become president.
