the assets one has in the abroad can be taken over by a divorce or govt policy ( see how the Russian oligarchs lost their usa and uk assets). Many buy in Nigeria to hide some of their wealth.
Fair enough. I understand this as a reason then.

To me if one is considering retiring in Nigeria one small bungalow no go bad. When i see how much my parents and relatives spend on maintaining their house omo i just weak. Interlocking repairs, electrical repairs, generator servicing, leaking roof , leaking POP , painting , inverter battery replacement etc. with retirement funds haba
Depending on your personal arrangement, inherit it or a part. BTW, do people still build gigantic houses these days considering the few number of children, and with the children leaving home after university?

I know that English isn't everyone's cup of tea. When I said, "I have no issue with transgender people," I meant I've got no problem with them being transgender; that's how they want to live their lives. But what I've got a problem with is that they compete in sports with females. There's nothing wrong with my comment.

Females should compete with females. Males should compete with males. Transgenders should compete with transgenders. You understand now?
That is exactly my point - you have no issues with them being transgender but have an issue with them participating in sporting events. Were you not taught in school that you don't give certain people an inch so they don't attempt to take a mile? The moment you agree to them being transgender, then expect them to participate in whatever they deem fit. You cannot change the goalpost in the middle of the game.

BTW, regarding your first line of sentence, no one has the monopoly of being petty.

Anyone with full residency in the abroad, aka citizenship or permanent residency, who buys a property in Nigeria does so strictly from an emotional point of view. There is no financial benefit whatsoever in buying a property in Nigeria. None whatsoever! For the sake of moving back to a black dominated country as one grows older, I say that Nigeria is not the only black dominated country in the world.

The Gods forbid I buy a property in Nigeria.

So you are in East Asia or something? Now I know why you always sound like such an irredeemable simp.

It doesn't matter how many times you yell at Nigerian men, you will never be the choice of NL girls. They may seem to like simps but you still get dumped for someone like me, a redpiller. Your online crusade is nothing but wasted energy.
Let me be civil with you this time:

- How does a Nigerian male in East Asia connote being a simp? So, what could have been the difference if I was in Western Europe?
- Why do you think I am interested in Nairaland girls? If I am not mistaken, I have only PMed one "f" moniker since being a Nairalander, which was for a health-related question. I rarely send PMs these days unless it is for monetary/business purposes. Even when I was in Nigeria, I rarely did. FYI, I have a mother and sister who love me. I am not looking for love on Nairaland o.
- What I comment on Nairaland is strictly borne from my observations and research. I am not here to make anyone happy. One major thing about me: I detest dishonesty and hypocrisy, so I use every opportunity to expose people's dishonesty and hypocrisies.

The last bolded shows how extremely petty you are, you sound like those street gossips that when told to narrate her side of the story, she'd twist things for people to sympathise with her, what has being childless got to do with a mother's preference on her own children? Why do you feel threatened and pained by that all of a sudden? People have pointed out your fault here, yet you feel you're right, why do you choose to be blind to your own faults?
I did not even read that part. shocked

She must be very petty then. She being childless has nothing to do with the post. I just have this dislike for people who born plenty children they cannot take care of. I no wan sabi anything else. Once the children are plenty, I pin every fault of the parents to that very act.

Based on OP's rant about women having children, I have guessed how she is. wink

No. Seun is at best agnostic or formerly atheist but was threatened by Nairaland Muslims when Nairaland Christians lampooned Islam in its strongest terms during the Boko Haram onslaught against Christians. In a bid to pacify them, he put the banner you have before commenting on Islamic topics. That reduced it, as many would rather not comment than have that banner on their profiles.

I have no issue with transgender people, but a female competing with a transgender person is very unfair. Why can't sports organisations create a new category for transgender people?
If you have no issue with them, why are you having an issue with them participating in sports?

Transgender is total nonsense! It goes against basic biology. I am glad this is happening. If I had enough money, I will implement David Hundeyin's solution: enter DRC or Congo Brazzaville, pack plenty young men that are poor and sponsor their transgender process. Train them in different sports and ship them to every sporting tournament accepting trans athletes. By the time these black people have won enough medals, nobody go tell them to change the laws to as they were.

Since they want to be mad, teach them how to be mad!

Cook together. Talk. Plan trips. Surprise gifts. Go for a walk together. Jog together. Cuddle. Watch a movie together. Plan life together. Philosophize together.

Be vulnerable together. Be each other rock in the storm and sun in the rain. Spend time with each other's family. Help each other grow spiritually. Be heartily naked.

And that's just to name a few.

A successful relationship is based on intangibles, immaterials, and essences. Material stuff and things of the flesh (eg sex) are just toppings, not the core.

If you and your partner cannot enjoy each other's company without spending one kobo, then both of you are business partners, not in a relationship.

As for Seun and Nairaland, nothing will happen. You are not the first, and neither would you be the last. Nairaland as it is the best way to understand how Nigerians think, and say. If you want a tu.sh or controlled form of what Nigerians think, head to Reddit/Nigeria where they believe every Nigerian has constant electricity and uses electric cookers. Also, you could try TwitterNG, but it is almost looking like Nairaland these days. No idea about Facebook and Instagram though.

Nairaland is what Nigeria is. This is how you fellow citizens think. The earlier you get to understand this, the better.

Knowingly or unknowingly, through her speech, she will talk down on men. Runs girls see men at their worst, at their horney mannerless state, where men blab nonsense and act like fools just to satisfy their hotness.

If you constantly see men in such a state, then you will naturally lose respect for men.
I know one like that. She only, or seemingly, respects men who have money. Whether she is into hookup, I have no idea. But her love for money, I believe, is the reason. Sometimes, the way some older men act towards her in a bid to have sex could be another reason. I know what older Nigerian men can do just to put the head inside. They can be embarrassing times.

Na we no develop our juju .... If u know science well u will know it's a lot similar to juju...

One of the projects is a mouse-model research to investigate the effect of a potential therapeutic agents... Guess what ...we removed the kidneys liver, lungs, etc, crushed it in added chemical...BLA BLA BLA.....does sound like something u have heard from organ harvesters?
I beg to differ, it does not mean the same thing. Mouse are used because their biological makeup is similar to humans. Also, it is the best model to begin with as mice are not humans. Using humans comes at a later stage when the drug is at an advanced development stage.

The thing science has that makes it better is reproducibility, optimization, refinement, becos of years of consistent research...
At least, we agree on one it. Juju cannot be equal to scientific research when someone in Korea or Uruguay cannot produce the same results using the same materials. There is no point elevating its brilliance when the people doing it are poorer than those doing something different.

Pple no dey come together to research juju .. but once in a while u will see one juju man wey sabi because he don research....u go know say juju dey work....

The double standard here is if a woman marries her father's age for money, it's okay by societal standards but immediately a man does the exact same thing we start criticizing him, omor make una rest.
Most young Nigerian males are very dishonest when they lampoon young women for marrying older women. At least, evolutionary, that's normal. However, it's only black African men who marry old white women simply as a result of poverty. Nothing else! Even poorer Asians don't marry old white women. Only black African men do. Tomorrow, the same men will criticise young black African women for marrying older black African men. That's the difference: the young women marry older men of the same race. Our men are marrying older WHITE women. Something no other set of men do in the world.

It's not love, but poverty. Fine by me as a way to escape poverty. But the hypocrisies and lies should stop from young Nigerian men.

This is where the problem started. You don't help irresponsible people, especially those with plenty of children they cannot afford to take proper care of. My mom has done the same as you did, but I warned her not and when everything backfired, I told her "but I told you?" People who have plenty of children they cannot afford to take care of are irresponsible, and as a responsible person, you should never be responsible for their irresponsibility.

Stay away from that woman and her household. Anything happens to the children, and she will hold you accountable. By then, it would have become too late.

That is the thing!

My mom was praising her elder cousin for being a prolific patent medicine practitioner, and I asked, "why is she not rich, let alone richer than you, since her products cure all sorts of ailments? If her products work as acclaimed, why has no one conducted thorough research to unravel the curative abilities and commercialize the results? You cannot tell me her products cure epilepsy, yet she is not rich. It can never be me."

Her reply? Well, that is why you are here. Solve it and become rich.
