You gain entry in our country and you are working, well done... have u ever wonder why u can't leave a nation more than 1 year without returning back? Well there are certain restrictions that comes with having been neutralised in another nation. Lol 😆
That been said if he ain't married, he most likely end up with PR and I.D which he can use to make his U.S wonderland trip.

Expatriate is mentioned in dictionary for a purpose. As an exchange student you can migrate from one of the University in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam to U.S labour market depends if your course or skills is needed.
It is not a skill issue. The sponsorship is based on a lottery and I have explained the process countless times on this thread. Please read up on the H1B and H1B1. Vietnamese or Malaysians cannot access the US labour market, unlike Singaporeans without restrictions. Chileans can do so.

That been said, as a foreign national seeking for neutralisation in Chile after living for 5 years just maybe the system doesn't theighten there immigration laws then we can talk about been a legalised as a Permanent Resident permit cos u see that passport if him no marry there woman least he can get is a Permanent resident permit after 5 years.
That is an unintelligent lie.

Citizenship is attainable in five years. If you must lie, please do it in your house.

Your first choice was Ethiopia. It is a sh!thole and the passport is weak compared to Chile. Do Ethiopian passport holders enjoy unrestricted access to the US labour market? Do famine-ridden Ethiopians enjoy visa free access to the US and EU? All my points have been proven ab initio. There is a straight line from someone against young Nigerians emigrating legally to reputable countries and their cruelty. Nothing surprises me anymore.

Gerrard59:
I feel I should try to elucidate some things with my little knowledge on migration:

- Stay away from Woke people! They might share the same skin colour but their experiences differ from yours. When listening/reading tales from people in the abroad who warn you from relocating, ask questions. Try to know their migration route and citizenship/economic status. Someone who left via tourist visa and another who went for MBA at Haas School of Business would have different experiences, learn the mistakes the former made and strategies the latter did. Anyone who discourages you from relocating when s/he has not relocated to Nigeria is hypocritically wicked and does not wish you well (and if you check those who relocated, they are already citizens of developed countries). Flee from such people.

Best wishes!

Economy and standard of living can differ...
Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam will definitely have bigger economy than Chile, but with more population...Chile with small population, the can take care of their people more with their economy, this analogy is similar to some small European countries, they have a high standard of living compared to countries with big population and big economy
Malaysia has a high standard of living compared to Vietnam and Indonesia, but with how our people don spoil the name there, it makes no sense for a Nigerian migrant to move there with just the Nigerian passport. The Malaysian passport is pretty strong, considering the country's demographic profile and history. However, Malaysia does not offer a route to the US labour market, unlike Chile. That is the bone of contention these donkeys fail to grasp.

At least, we have moved away from whether Chile is safe, has a good economy and the passport offers unrestricted access to the US labour market. This is the result when you fight demons head-on.

If I may ask your great grand parents were subject to slave trade within this route South America. Have you ever imagine going to school in South Africa, not just Ethiopia. So at the end of the day, you are targeting the same regions he is aiming at while in your 40s with three children after amassing three passports. On the other hand, OP is less than 30 and is a tech bro. The end justifies the means. Those who went through South America obviously are not university educated, possess no skills, weren't willing to learn the language and most importantly did not follow legal routes. Gerrard, could you expatiate on the emboldened point please?
For black Africa to be rich or at least middle class, we need to receive investments and have our goods access wealthier markets. That is what the US did with Japan after the nuclear bombing, South Korea after the disintegration, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. Those countries got massive investments from Western companies and technical know-how. In return, they rose from the poverty stage to wealth. The same applied to China during the late '80s. A nation cannot be rich by selling goods to poorer countries. A hotel in Ikeja GRA will generate more revenues than another in Ojo simply because visitors/guests within the GRA axis have more money than those in Ojo. Also, countries like Brazil, South Korea, Japan and many African countries got richer as China grew. Western countries benefitted from low inflation because there was a China that manufactured anything at the lowest prices. Western companies also benefitted from a huge market where they sold goods and services. Everyone benefitted.

Now, the Chinese are ascending to higher levels and the West feels threatened and is clamping down on her growth. OK, their interest. So, where next are the world's manufacturing hubs they are targeting? South Asia (India) and South East Asia. But these places are a distance away from Europe and the United States. The most logical would be to do the same in black Africa to serve the same purpose as China. The other day, I read German businesses went to Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam to seek partners to produce goods for the EU market. For crying out loud, is Malaysia closer to Germany than Senegal? Kenya? Tanzania?

Investing in certain countries to make them rich is good for the investor because when those people invested in become rich, they purchase the goods and patronise the services of the investor. That is how it happened with the Chinese and the West. The West invested, and today Chinese purchase lots of Mercedes-Benz, LVMH, Tesla, BASF chemicals, Airbus etc. The same applies to Thailand, Malaysia and South Korea, where the Japanese invested, and those countries are major trading partners of Japan today by buying Japanese goods and patronising Japanese' companies' services. The same thing is what the Chinese tried replicating in Africa - invest there and ensure they become rich. In return, they will purchase goods from China when they become wealthy.

The question now is, why didn't the West think of the same, considering we have a 500+ year history compared to the Chinese?

There is something you need understand about living in the 21st century as my instincts tells me you are almost hitting 40 (no harm intended).

There is more to life than just having children. I and OP, on separate occasions, have called Marie Stopes Nigeria to ask, "how much una dey charge for vasectomy?". Speaking for myself, I have never fancied having plenty of children. I believe there is more to life than just having kids. I am very neutral about being married. Just as my contemporaries have fewer children as opposed to the older ones who had many children. I see the upcoming Gen-Zs having just one child or being child-free. OP has spent time on reddit/antinatalist, while I have researched on being child-free.

As I dey like this, I have a certain standard of living I must not go below, and IF I must go below it due to circumstances beyond my control, let it be only me. I dread bringing another being to suffer. Life is meant to be enjoyed and explored. When I was in Nigeria, I used to wonder why young people in developed countries forgo having children, but after being in a developed country, I now understand why they do so.

I know it is a culture shock, but such is life for most people. It was a culture shock to me when I went to NYSC camp in the north and saw few women out in the streets. I had to ask a fellow corp member, "Where are the women?"

Any educated Nigerian who enters Chile legally does not need to marry a Chilean woman before attaining naturalisation status. In fact, that is one of the reasons this thread was created - to inform young Nigerians of other reputable and less popular destinations with a high ROI than dem Malaysia, Turkey or Jakarta. The person just needs to get a job and siddon put for five years and get the passport. Also, Tensa20 has nothing against marrying a black woman even though there is no economic benefit in marrying a black African (male or female).

C'mon! Isn't that better than Turkey or Indonesia, which are not even high salary destinations? As I have preached here, it is better to go to Singapore and Switzerland because they offer high salaries though an almost impossible means to become a naturalised citizen (for Singapore) than wasting time in Malaysia or Vietnam. People need to think long term and play delayed gratification. The five years many of our people waste in those places, if spent in Chile or even Peru, they become nationals and move to Western countries with ease. His strategy is being played by Indians who are now applying to Canadian universities, get citizenship and move to the US to work through the TN visa.

Well, you don't know Tensa20 better than I do. He is not interested in marriage at the moment as being in Chile will enable him to achieve his dream - get to the United States and access its labour market. You need to understand that not every young Nigerian man is desperate to marry or have sex. It might sound odd to you, but that is the reality. Again, for the umpteenth time, a legal resident in Chile does not have to use whatever tunnel to migrate to the United States. Again, Chilean passport holders CAN travel to the US visa-free and are among the five countries with unrestricted access to the US labour market - Tensa20's main target.

He is not in Chile to marry the women as a major point, but to enter the US without issues and not on a Nigerian passport. The same Western countries you want to enter via a sh!thole Ethiopia's PR is what Tensa20 will access but with a Chilean passport and gain access to the only country's labour market with the highest salaries for black professionals in the world.

[quote author=pansophist post=125302035]That's something I also do not understand about US politics. The idea that they believe they are operating from a position of strength, but are the one asking for open communication, spreading propaganda, doing visitations, and engaging in bloc confrontation.

China did none of these, they are just existing but the US won't let them be. This is a case where you have to look at actions not words. The US is in a position of weakness, and their actions speaks louder than words will ever say.

Now listen to this clown Vivek Ramaswamy. Let me not say anything, listen to this man who is a US presidential candidate and imagine how stupid the kinds of idiots that are qualified to be US President.

watched the video. In a way, Vivek is correct. You have written the same here. The US aligned economically with China in hopes that she would become an allied Japan through which the US could further bring down Russia. In a nutshell, to get at Russia, the US opened up to China. However, he can't win anyway. Tim Scott has brighter chances than he does. Trump is the likeliest GOP candidate should he trump his court issues. If an Indian-American is to be a formidable front-runner, Ro Khanna of the Democratic Party has brighter chances. Additionally, I don't think or see White Americans voting for a non-White to become the president amidst confrontation with China.

In my opinion, the US is a beacon for the White race regarding global economic, military and soft power strength. No other White-dominated country comes close. China is rising economically, which will diminish that clout. Thus, a white man is needed at the White House to "contain" China's growth.

I recall posting a video where a senior Chinese official stated one of the grievances the US has towards China is because the Chinese invested in Africa to enable Africans to get richer.

So Gina Raimondo, the US Commerce Secretary, is visiting China later this month for God-knows-what agenda she wants to discuss. At the same time, the US is placing restrictions on its companies investing in China, wants to, as usual, bully her allies vassals
into doing the same, reduce trade with China, place military bases around China, coaxing South Korea and Japan into an alliance to fight China even when both countries have China as their largest trade partners.

The arrogance is befuddling, and the cognitive dissonance is mind-blowing. BTW, Panso, I am curious, why is it US officials visiting China and not the other way round, considering the US is provoking her through her policies and actions?

There is no sense in it. See my comment above. No city in the world has rent controls because it leads to higher rents. Landlords will decide not to build houses for rent since it is controlled. In return, the supply is limited, while demand is constant and increasing. At the end, the rents keep increasing.

Basic demand and supply.

Wike should stop the movement of cows within the city else other people can start their own movement with pigs and dogs

Wike should enforce a drop in the house rents in Abuja

Lastly, Wike should tell all owners of the thousands of empty houses especially in estates to rent them out or be taken over by government. Looters hide their funds here
You people are too communist in your views and thoughts. One of the reasons Nigeria is a poor country - everyone wants the government to control everything. Now to the bold, there is no place where rent controls exist, and there were no corresponding rent increments. Rent control leads to higher rents, not lower. You cannot dictate how much landlords should let their houses for.

There are ways to effect a reduction in rents:
- Build more public housing. Through this, you get people who would have gone to the private sector to live in public housing.
- Improve the public transport system so that dwellers will see no reason to live in the city when public transit exists that is reliable, efficient, punctual, clean and affordable. Someone who pays almost a million to live Wuse will see reasons to move to the hinterlands if the public transport has those qualities I listed.
- Quicken the building approval process and reduce the associated fees. Since Wike has no control over cement prices, that is another to ensure buildings are quickly approved (according to standards) with low fees.

Honestly, providing basic amenities is not difficult as they seem. If I were Wike, I would appoint Singaporeans, Chinese and Japanese and give them unlimited power and funds to do whatever they like.

Or you invest it in the stock market wherever you live. However, a stock market is not a business enterprise compared to a factory. Alternatively, you start a business wherever you live. But if starting businesses in foreign lands is something Nigerian diasporans are good at, they should be rubbing shoulders with Indian and Pakistani billionaires in the UK. After all, there are almost a quarter of a million Nigerians residing in the UK.

In my opinion, the brain of a first-generation Nigerian migrant, especially the one who migrated as an adult, is not suited for entrepreneurship in developed countries.

if the reason for investing in nigeria is to earn dollars. Afterall I am earning dollars so why put it in Nigeria in order to earn the same dollars with all the uncertainties of export market.
Your money goes further, and you own an enterprise. Alternatively, do the aforementioned.

This is why our currency is dying. We need need to promote our currency, thats the only way for it to achieve value
But that is exactly the opposite you are advocating for. The only way for the naira to be strong (which is not good anyway) is for Nigeria as a country to export more goods, valued added, to the global market. Merely promoting the naira does not add value to it, exporting goods to other countries, getting paid in dollars and converting and spending it in Nigeria makes the naira to be strong.

Again, Nigeria does not need a strong naira. We are not Switzerland nor Singapore.

Ode, wink. I wrote about myself up there, things I find difficult doing to impress a woman, I never said guys should not spend or take a woman on a date.

Good morning.
But you stated that you find it disgusting and absurd. huh If you find something disgusting and absurd, it means you don't like it and won't recommend it to others.

I see almost everyday how men go about asking ladies for a date, burning date and airtime, trying to impress ladies which I find so disgusting.
I don't know if it is a problem with me, but, I find it absurd, time and resource wasting to go days asking a lady out, buy things to impress her, call her every morning and send gifts just to have a woman around me.
